I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

Sent an arsey email to PayPal. Fuming. The transaction was verified on the 14th. There's no reason why it should be on hold.

Yet again I'm only getting 3 or 4 ads a day on Appen. It's making it barely worth my while doing it.
I reapplied for crisp hoping it might bump me up the waiting list.

@0hmygoodness the speech one was a one off task  that's why you're not seeing why work there.

@Mamaslave18 remind me, are you Nike or Truckee? I've had issues the last few days with the error message. I really struggle to generate ads in the evening for some reason what else are you waiting to hear back from?

So they have given me some european ones instead as they UK work is all done!!
Anyone doing the Fletcher / Falcon trancription, any idea how I get it to save each line? I cannot work it out. Thanks

I'm on Truckee. I'm constantly reporting the issue and it gets fixed for a week and then happens again. It's seriously cutting down my earnings. I find the support rubbish. I think it's either automated or they don't speak English as a first language.

I've applied for some other Appen projects but I'm not that keen for them to come through. I find it very tedious so I'm really hoping for Crisp to contact me.

@FloofenHoofen, please can you help me work out how to save my first transcription line on Fletcher. What am I not doing?

I have worked it out finally - hooray! 40 minutes in and one line completed

Ohmygoodness make sure you're selection the transcription label. Then the save button will appear :)

Haha otterses PayPal held my money so many times, I've had to change my banking details with Payoneer so I'm paid directly now, can't be doing with PayPal holding my money for 3+ days every time!!

Otterses give them a ring, as soon as you ring them they get their arse into gear! I've rang them over 6 times this month alone! They're no good for sending money but alright for purchases, that's all I'll be using PayPal for from now on. Good luck!

@FloofenHoofen I will as soon as I can get Mr Piss to have a nap we're not having the best day here. I can't cope with him shouting in one ear and a PayPal call centre on the other.

I haven't yet managed to do any work on Nile. I can't get the rating tool to load.

The email was sent on Monday evening and although it does say it can take up to 48 hours to start working I am thinking it should really be working now.

I have tried going through the link in their email which takes me to my facebook page. Sometimes a counter comes up in the bottom left hand corner, sometimes it doesn't. There is nothing else coming up.

If I try typing in the website url it either comes up with nothing or just my facebook home page.

I don't really want to start contacting them before I have done any work at all. Did anyone else have problems?

@mydogisthebest hmmm ... now chances are, it's an issue their end.

Is it the same for your laptop and mobile? Have you tried clearing the cache/cookies? Sometimes that causes issues for me with Nile.

If you go into the academy, and follow the link to the Nile Social Group, post in there and see if anyone else is having issues.

@Otterses I know we had that problem paying for an event at uni where PayPal deemed the payments to be "goods and services" and said it had to hold them for 30 days 🙄 was a nightmare

Got literally nowhere with PayPal. They're saying Crisp need to verify it, so I've emailed don't believe PayPal for a second tbh.

Those of you that do matched betting can I have some tips please? We're desperate to make it work here but need some more info, so far we've made about £3.50 on top of our initial £10 outlay

How do you manage to make more? Is there anything I should be signing up to to tell me what to be doing? Or what the best bets will be?
