I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day Smile

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=c48139fc0a25bae5d07c634d0a043f5b

(Full disclosure, that's my referral code and I get $25 if you are accepted and work for Appen for 150 hours, if anyone else would like to post their referral code feel free)

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

@Otterses thanks, I've done it. I just picked the tops that look pretty haha

justtheonethen · 24/06/2019 17:55

@CrazyTink ah just a coincidental name!

reddA · 24/06/2019 17:57

Don't give up hope, last time they sent emails in dribs and drabs - I was a week behind Otterses!
I haven't seen a decent surge for ages - think it was the weekend I was too ill to work - typical! lol

whatthewhatthewhat · 24/06/2019 18:06

How much does Crisp work out an hour?

Bemystarlord · 24/06/2019 18:08

Thanks @reddA will keep fingers crossed. Its the one i’d really like to do 🤞.

BlackCatFan · 24/06/2019 18:33

@justtheonethen that sounds good.. I'm not really able to commit to many hours at the moment. But I won't get my hopes up yet, there are still tests to do Confused

justtheonethen · 24/06/2019 19:34

@whatthewhatthewhat depend if there is a surge or not. If not about £10ph

0htooooodles · 24/06/2019 20:33

Anyone else confused by the new crisp dashboard queues? Baffling me a bit!

Otterses · 24/06/2019 20:37

@0htooooodles

YES! What on Earth is going on!?

0htooooodles · 24/06/2019 21:00

@Otterses I dunno! Is the bottom number how many is in the queue or the one at the top?? Why have they not explained it :/

justtheonethen · 24/06/2019 21:02

Super confused by the dashboard Confused

ShinyButtons · 24/06/2019 21:14

@TheLolaMontez I love the sloth but the Otterly Adorable one is so cute, I think I need him.

I got an email from crisp as well today, signed the document and now waiting impatiently for the next bit. Hope it doesn't take long to come through.

anxiouswaiting · 24/06/2019 23:44

I think I have come to the conclusion that Yukon is not for me and I would be wasting my time to take the qualification test. I have just failed the practice one and to be honest I don't think I am going to enjoy working on the project, the guidelines are frying my brain Sad

Bit peeved as could have done with the work, but reading the guidelines has taken me hours and now I clearly need to reread them all again plus do 3 x 4 hour exams to get on the project. Really don't think it is worth it.

Just worried that if I withdraw I will be peanalised and not get on other projects though.

Otterses · 25/06/2019 09:23

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Five days to go, how's everyone getting on with their targets?

OP posts:
reddA · 25/06/2019 09:44

Morning @Otterses hope you had a better night with Master Pissalot Grin So 6 days to earn including today, I need to earn another £250 ish to hit my Crisp target, so it will depend on how busy it is (quiet at the moment again) and what the weather is like Blush

whatthewhatthewhat · 25/06/2019 09:44

Anyone heard more form Crisp yet?

whatthewhatthewhat · 25/06/2019 09:47

*from

justtheonethen · 25/06/2019 10:13

I'm on over £800 so far, would like to make another £200 but that will depend on if crisp gets busy 🙏🏻

TheLolaMontez · 25/06/2019 10:44

I've just had another tax rebate, this time for the marriage allowance Smile so I'm well over my target just from those two rebates alone.
I'm hoping I can get something more regular and reliable for next month as I doubt HMRC will want to give me any more money Confused
Waiting to hear back from cloudworkers about my interview thing on Skype, fingers crossed it won't be too much longer before that's all up and running

Otterses · 25/06/2019 10:46

@TheLolaMontez Shock that was fast! And yeah, I don't think so somehow Wink

TheLolaMontez · 25/06/2019 11:07

Well, I've requested it - will see how long it takes to arrive. The website said with 5 working days. The big one didn't take as long as they thought either, I think that was around 5 when they said 10-14 Shock I was quite surprised!

Bemystarlord · 25/06/2019 11:46

Hey all had my cloudworkers training this morning which was fine and now all set up and can start straight away.

Having a nightmare with my appen project as it isn't clear where to start the transcribing and I'm worried if i do them all and they are in the wrong place i will have wasted a load of time! Messaged Appen yday for clarification but no reply yet!!

Nothing from Crisp :( it was about a month ago i applied and i got 19 so hoped i would hear. Will keep fingers crossed abit longer.

Earned £10 on bemyeye yesterday so that was a nice bonus :) not really been tracking this month as it feels like ive spent most of my time applying for things or getting them set up!!

LifeHacks · 25/06/2019 11:59

I play Scratch Day, Spin Day and Scratch Royale to win cash prizes. And they're fun!

anxiouswaiting · 25/06/2019 12:03

Just had an email from Crisp with the training link so anyone else who has recently done the docusign stuff will probably get theirs shortly too.

Got the exam link for Appen Fletcher EU transcribing as well so going to reas the guidelines while baby is sleeping and give that a go - hoping I pass so I can forget Yukon altogether as I don't have time for both.

Anyone else feeling really good about how well you are doing? DH made comments last month about how much effort I put in for pennies, but this month I think I will have made about £500 by the end of the month which is roughly the same as the maternity pay I waa getting

Otterses · 25/06/2019 12:17

Money still hasn't cleared on PayPal Angry at this rate I'll get it when due another months pay.
