I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day Smile

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=c48139fc0a25bae5d07c634d0a043f5b

(Full disclosure, that's my referral code and I get $25 if you are accepted and work for Appen for 150 hours, if anyone else would like to post their referral code feel free)

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

Good luck to the new crispers!

reddA · 24/06/2019 14:22

Woohoo Crisp dashboard updated :)

0htooooodles · 24/06/2019 14:35

@reddA Finally!

classedasarsehole · 24/06/2019 15:02

@Otterses I already applied for 6 projects before this happened, I applied in January 😂

TheLolaMontez · 24/06/2019 15:13

No crisp email for me Sad but then again I've not been waiting all that long. Fingers crossed it won't be much longer

Blessthekids · 24/06/2019 15:27

@TheLolaMontez yep fingers crossed for all of us waiting. I'm halfway through the transcribeme test. No idea how I'm doing and not sure how strict they will be, will find out I guess soon enough. I plan to finish it tomorrow. Am glad you don't have to do it in one sitting.

reddA · 24/06/2019 15:31

It's dead on Crisp at the moment though Confused

anxiouswaiting · 24/06/2019 16:18

@whatthewhatthewhat Yukon is an Appen project

Mamaslave18 · 24/06/2019 16:18

Fellow Appen Fletcher Sufferers - do you know when we will get paid?

Bemystarlord · 24/06/2019 16:18

Is anyone else doing/done Falcon that i can ask a quick question please?

whatthewhatthewhat · 24/06/2019 16:20

Grrr! How can I get in on these Appen projects!? Why wouldn't they have accepted me when they accepted me for the other (Appen) thing?

Bemystarlord · 24/06/2019 16:22

@Mamaslave18 i don’t know, hopefully soon! Makes me worried they wont get accepted 😬

Otterses · 24/06/2019 17:03

@whatthewhatthewhat From what I can gather by what I've read they are a law unto themselves.

BlackCatFan · 24/06/2019 17:23

Crisp people - how many hours are you expected to work per week? (Or can you work as little/many as you want). And is it a case of being able to log on and work whenever you want?

Thanks

BlackCatFan · 24/06/2019 17:24

@Bemystarlord I only applied about a week ago! They must be recruiting..

anxiouswaiting · 24/06/2019 17:37

Otterses · 24/06/2019 17:38

Well done to all those who've been accepted by crisp. Didn't get the email myself I'm afraid.

CrazyTink · 24/06/2019 17:41

Newbie here stepping in 😬
Have been dipping in and out of reading these threads for a while and really want to get involved and make some money 👏🏻
Already do Swagbucks, joined life points today, do Enlightly and prolific (both very slow)
Did the crisp application today - at the end it said I was on the waiting list, then received an email headed you’re on the waiting list but the email says I scored 18/20 should I try to do it again?
Appen - do I need to create a cv? Not had one in years
Any advice would be much appreciated, loving your work ladies! x

justtheonethen · 24/06/2019 17:42

Picked up a bit now @reddA, no surge though Sad
Was gutted last night that a 1.7 came up just as I was going to bed!

justtheonethen · 24/06/2019 17:44

@BlackCatFan you can work as much or as little as you like as long as you log on once a month.

@CrazyTink yes do it again, you need 19 really but then people have been accepted with 18 so who knows! As an aside- you aren't Tink from the JS group are you?

justtheonethen · 24/06/2019 17:45

Also appen does need a cv yes

Bemystarlord · 24/06/2019 17:48

@BlackCatFan thanks for the reply. I applied last month so must not have been accepted. Well done, it looks a fab one to get on :)

CrazyTink · 24/06/2019 17:49

Thanks for replying, I’m worried I’ll get less second time 🙈
I don’t know what the group is so no, I’ve not logged into here for years
