I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day Smile

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=c48139fc0a25bae5d07c634d0a043f5b

(Full disclosure, that's my referral code and I get $25 if you are accepted and work for Appen for 150 hours, if anyone else would like to post their referral code feel free)

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

Java project is like pot luck can't pass exam!

reddA · 24/06/2019 09:40

@TheLolaMontez I've got an injured seagull, he has something wrong with his foot but his leg seems okay and he can fly so I'm just feeding him and keeping an eye on him - I'm reluctant to call anyone out as they all have babies to feed at the moment. Post a link, it might get removed but none of us are going to report it - I'd love to see your work :)

Just waiting on my food shop then I can get back on with work, tech issues with dashboard so not sure what my total is - hope it's fixed soon!

@Otterses have a day off, sounds like you deserve it! I thoroughly enjoyed mine the other day :)

TheLolaMontez · 24/06/2019 09:52

Oh god @reddA Confused ours isn't as big as a seagull thankfully. We did have a swan in at work once, there's no way I'd be keeping that in my bathroom Grin it got pretty hissy after 24hours in the hospital so I'd never be able to wee in peace if I had it at home ConfusedGrin

Ooh ok, link is: etsy.com/shop/jenmorrisdesign

Have yourselves a little nosey round and see what you think! If you've got suggestions of things that you think would be nice to buy do let me know! I'm pretty creative and I can do most things if I put my mind to it Smile
I've got a craft fair coming up in August (my first one) so I'm making lots of things for that too

reddA · 24/06/2019 10:27

They are fab - the sloth is my favourite but the pug is so cute - his eyes!! Grin I'm crap at crafty stuff unfortunately, I can do cakes but only if I'm in the mood (like once every couple of years Blush )

TheLolaMontez · 24/06/2019 10:30

I'm only good at eating cakes Grin

Blessthekids · 24/06/2019 10:34

@TheLolaMontez that tiny pug key chain ❤

TheLolaMontez · 24/06/2019 10:36

Grin I do love the pug!

I've got loads more stuff to put on there, I've just done a load of pigs and dinosaurs too. I could do with the days being about ten hours longer to get everything done Blush

anxiouswaiting · 24/06/2019 11:15

@TheLolaMontez Your employee section is amazing Grin

TheLolaMontez · 24/06/2019 11:42

Haha thanks @anxiouswaiting Grin I sometimes forget how much I'm juggling in a day to day basis with all those creatures and a baby Shock and trying to work too! Maybe I should just retire now Grin

Otterses · 24/06/2019 11:49

@TheLolaMontez I'm afraid I agree, you're utterly mad to cram so much into a day Grin !

@reddA DS is currently squatting in front of the oven waiting for cake ... blueberry and banana muffins again. He's refusing to eat anything other than these or ginger biscuits Hmm

And seagulls are terrifying. You're braver than me!

Otterses · 24/06/2019 11:54

@classedasarsehole Grin

It's a good thing! I think from what I can gather, they recruit my region. So hopefully you'll be up and running soon able to apply for some projects.

TheLolaMontez · 24/06/2019 12:01

Is anyone doing anything on Clickworkers? I've signed up and tried to do the Pinterest jobs but it gives an error message saying they're full up when I try to work them Hmm is this normal?

anxiouswaiting · 24/06/2019 12:06

Appen have added another Fletcher stxm job this time with eu dialects. Applied and got an email asking me to complete the qualification quiz on the project page but it isn't there, same happened with the UK one, very annoying.

@TheLolaMontez yes that always happens for me on Clickworker

OnlyBejoking · 24/06/2019 12:06

@Otterses How are the Axies doing? I'm intrigued! Tempted to try it but wondering if I would find it a big hassle or obsessive.

BlackCatFan · 24/06/2019 12:14

I've heard back from Crisp!! Yay!! Asking me to sign some documents! GlitterballGrin

BlackCatFan · 24/06/2019 12:20

Are the initial assessments difficult for Crisp?

Bemystarlord · 24/06/2019 12:22

Ooh thats great @BlackCatFan. How ling how long did you apply?

TheLolaMontez · 24/06/2019 12:33

I second that @BlackCatFan that's ace Grin hoping I don't have to wait too much longer!

anxiouswaiting · 24/06/2019 13:02

I've just heard from Crisp too, perfect timing since I don't hold much hope of passing Yukon. Hope the Crisp test isn't too hard

CatHopeful · 24/06/2019 13:39

Crisp must be doing a round of recruiting, as I've heard from them today too asking me to sign & return documents along with some ID and then outlining the next training stages.

reddA · 24/06/2019 13:44

Great news about Crisp! Good luck with the test everyone :)

whatthewhatthewhat · 24/06/2019 13:45

How hard is the test?

whatthewhatthewhat · 24/06/2019 13:46

What's Yukon?

reddA · 24/06/2019 13:56

It's one of those where you're really not sure how well you're doing, just take your time with the training and make sure you have a quiet time to do the test, do a tally to keep an eye on how many you have done - that takes the pressure off a bit.
