I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day Smile

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=c48139fc0a25bae5d07c634d0a043f5b

(Full disclosure, that's my referral code and I get $25 if you are accepted and work for Appen for 150 hours, if anyone else would like to post their referral code feel free)

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

I think I did around £20 yesterday but no update, I don't think there were any fantastic surges when I was on. Last week to push on though, I'd love to hit 1k! Just need to keep focused :)

TheLolaMontez · 23/06/2019 18:07

Had an email from the cloud workers yesterday, they couldn't open some of the documents so I've resent. Hopefully they work this time Confused

TheLolaMontez · 23/06/2019 18:08

I had my first sale on Etsy yesterday though, which is SO exciting! I've been waiting months for this GrinGrin hopefully the ball will slowly start to roll now Grin

reddA · 23/06/2019 18:26

@TheLolaMontez well done - I'd be buzzing :) What did you sell? (don't tell me if it's too outing Grin )

TheLolaMontez · 23/06/2019 18:29

I'm not too worried about being outed, I'm not famous 😂 it was a crochet sloth planter GrinGrin (I'll try to attach photo)

Also discovered I have a Beatrix Potter 50p today. Are they worth anything other than 50p?

Otterses · 23/06/2019 18:45

@TheLolaMontez Shock that's bloody amazing!

I have zero idea about the 50p I'm afraid. I'd imagine a collector would he interested though.

I'm an awful pumpkin salesman. Next doors five year old poked his head over to see what I was doing and said he'd give me all the money in his money box for a pumpkin Grin I told him not to be so silly and he could just come round and pick one he wanted.

I sense he is going to be asking me daily if they're ready yet...

Thanks @Otterses Grin

Ha! Terrible pumpkin salesmanship, however, how can you say no to someone so sweet? At least he actually wanted to buy one from you, I think that counts for something Smile

reddA · 23/06/2019 19:01

@TheLolaMontez omg I love him Grin Can you make them bigger as soft toy hammocks? That would be cool! I get tons of sloth videos on FB at the moment for some reason.

Modern coins don't tend to go for much, ignore anything on Ebay - it's made up. Look out for the kew gardens 50p - that's worth £80-£100 but most other coins have been in circulation and are just nice collectables, a few have less in circulation or have a fault but generally they are just face value or a couple of quid.

@Otterses ya big softie (I'd be the same!) Grin

justtheonethen · 23/06/2019 19:09

@TheLolaMontez that's amazing 💕💕

TheLolaMontez · 23/06/2019 19:12

Thanks folks Smile I'm quite fond of him too Grin

I probably could make them bigger @reddA they'd take a lot of yarn though!

mydogisthebest · 23/06/2019 19:13

Otterses it's Nile I have been accepted for. I thought there was an exam for that?

justtheonethen · 23/06/2019 19:13

@TheLolaMontez also I have lots of BP 50ps and I don't think they are worth anything sadly. Very sweet though!

Otterses · 23/06/2019 19:54

@mydogisthebest

NOPE!

There's an 'academy' with a multiple choice quiz at the end, but you can retake that as many times as you like. It's just so you get familiar with the guidelines Grin

Cloudworkers seems very depressing. Like, are you technically a ten euro a pop sex worker? I don't think I can do that...

whatthewhatthewhat · 23/06/2019 20:17

*ten cents! Not even ten euro!

lannister · 23/06/2019 20:50

@Otterses I did send off my CV but got that message. Oh well onwards and upwards

Otterses · 23/06/2019 20:57

I'm going to say no Crisp today. I'll admit I'm too tired and I don't want to make any errors Smile bloody DS aka Mr Piss decided last night on three occasions, to wee all over the sheets so had me up till 4am crying about it... he's an odd boy. No understanding of cause and effect.

Shall make up for it tomorrow though!

mydogisthebest · 23/06/2019 22:34

Otterses, thanks for that. Glad there is no exam to worry about!

BlackCatFan · 24/06/2019 06:37

@whatthewhatthewhat I discovered this after giving Cloudworkers a try over the weekend. Maybe I was naive but I felt kind of grubby afterwards. Should I tell them im no longer interested or just disappear?
I only have surveys other than that, waiting to hear from Appen and crisp.. although I do have Noyo to do on Appen.

BlackCatFan · 24/06/2019 06:40

That sloth planter is amazing! I want one.

FatandSassy · 24/06/2019 07:47

Not had any questions from Enlightly for about two weeks now. Anyone else?

We're going to start Matched Betting today. Anyone got any tips?

Bemystarlord · 24/06/2019 08:14

Morning 👋 just checking in.

Starting the Fletcher Itxm task today, ive got to do 12 hours a week for 7 weeks so fingers crossed it will work out ok. Appen pro’s may i ask - do you create an invoice each day with the hours you’ve done or just keep track until the end of the month?

Have cloudworkers training in the morning, bit disheartened to hear you dodnt get on well @BlackCatFan was it really awful?

Love the sloth @TheLolaMontez fingers crossed you get some more sales as they are fab!

@Otterses love your pumpkin idea, there is a house near us that sells them for Halloween and she does great, all the local children buy from her :)

TheLolaMontez · 24/06/2019 08:22

I haven't either @FatandSassy - I check it at least twice a day and there's never anything there, which is frustrating because I quite like their surveys, it's one of the less boring ones.

I'm glad you all like my sloth Smile - I'm happy to post a link to my Etsy shop if any of you would like a nose around (don't know if that's allowed though?)

I've got to go into my old work today, DH found a poorly bird on the garden over the weekend (looks like a cat attack). It's currently chilling in our bathroom, however I think it's got at least one if not two broken wings Sad going to do an X-ray to assess the damage. If he's ok we'll keep him until he's better and then release him. It's funny how the poorly ones gravitate to our house, they must know we take in all the waifs and strays.

Hope everyone has a productive day SmileSmile

whatthewhatthewhat · 24/06/2019 09:05

@BlackCatFan I didn't even get that far! Just read the contract and was seriously depressed. Do you know how much money you even made?

@Bemystarlord let us know what the training is like!
