I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day Smile

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=c48139fc0a25bae5d07c634d0a043f5b

(Full disclosure, that's my referral code and I get $25 if you are accepted and work for Appen for 150 hours, if anyone else would like to post their referral code feel free)

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

justtheonethen was that aimed at you? If so that's a really shit email to send someone!

FloofenHoofen · 21/06/2019 22:44

bemystarlord I haven't got the link at the moment as I'm on my phone, however, try it in a chrome browser as this seems to make all the difference, if you're still having difficulties then raise a ticket.

I had the same thing happen to me and they sent me the link direct

FloofenHoofen · 21/06/2019 22:49

Bemystarlord just found the link gnx.appen.com/#/tasks/3001556/work try that and see if it works for you.

Otterses · 22/06/2019 07:23

@bkaz I'm certain that on my deathbed I'll be wondering what the products were Grin have you checked on Social to see if anyone has mentioned it?

£82 on crisp yesterday Smile

reddA · 22/06/2019 09:09

@justtheonethen that's fantastic!! :) My record is £69

0htooooodles · 22/06/2019 09:44

@justtheonethen it was a good day yesterday. I managed £80 which I'm super happy with. If it carries on I'll be well on my way to £1000 by next week 😃

Otterses · 22/06/2019 09:47

Excellent @0htooooodles and @justtheonethen !

I'm sulking about how much I missed out on yesterday, really going to go for it today though. I want to hit £400 by tonight.

Been following the thread for a while, great tips thank you! Just been added to Crisp waiting list. Does anyone know how long until they contact you, are earnings taxed and how do they pay you? TIA

justtheonethen · 22/06/2019 10:13

@0htooooodles fabulous!

@Tulipsaremyfavouriteflower I had started within a month of going on the list but it varies. You are self employed so you do a self assessment tax return. They pay monthly by either PayPal or bank transfer.

Otterses · 22/06/2019 11:10

PayPal payment from crisp is still on hold Angry getting annoyed now, as it would really come in handy today. I really have no idea why, it says it should be off hold seven days after verification Confused

OP posts:
justtheonethen · 22/06/2019 11:19

@Otterses that is bloody shit. Why are they holding it?

Otterses · 22/06/2019 11:24

Apparently I have a limited seller history Hmm ... the account has been in bloody constant use for years! It's really weird. I'm waiting to try to get on the live chat.

OP posts:
justtheonethen · 22/06/2019 11:28

What! Also can they not see that you haven't sold anything and it's payment for services? It's not like crisp can ask for a refund which is the usual reason for holding it

Tulipsaremyfavouriteflower · 22/06/2019 11:30

Thanks very much for the reply @justtheonethen x

justtheonethen · 22/06/2019 11:33

@Tulipsaremyfavouriteflower fingers crossed you get on there soon. It's a fab earner.

Otterses · 22/06/2019 11:39

It's crackers. I literally use PayPal for everything. And I've not had this issue with my last two payments from Crisp.

Obviously as I'm not working I'm really dependant on this money,

The man on the live chat is telling me July 5th! I'm absolutely livid Angry the same stupid stock phrases about providing proof of delivery etc. Which I did 9 days ago!

OP posts:
Otterses · 22/06/2019 11:41

It's not really selling the idea of Crisp to DH either Sad I'm going to have to ask him to lend me some cash for the food shop. Yippee!

OP posts:
justtheonethen · 22/06/2019 11:43

Oh I'm sorry, that is awful. It is also making me nervous to use PayPal for crisp but I need the money ASAP so I will have to chance it. How frustrating. Proof of delivery?! What on earth?

justtheonethen · 22/06/2019 11:44

Although I have to say DH shouldn't be getting the arse as what's yours is his and vice versa!

Otterses · 22/06/2019 11:44

I'm sorry. That was really dramatic Blush

I have lots of food, I'm not starving to death. I just don't have any booze. I want to go to Asda and buy lots of that glittery gin.

OP posts:
Otterses · 22/06/2019 11:56

@justtheonethen I won't be using PayPal again, I'd sooner wait for a bank transfer. It's really pissed me off.

Eh. DH is forgiven for comments today, as he's had about three hours sleep. Tomorrow he can wind his neck in if he says anything Grin

OP posts:
justtheonethen · 22/06/2019 12:07

Gin is essential buying @Otterses 🤣

Otterses · 22/06/2019 14:18

@justtheonethen

Grin I think so! I blame crisp for alerting me to this sherbet and palma violet gin.

I've just remembered ... I haven't tried to eBay my stinky old work shoes yet on eBay Shock off to google some descriptions of 'trashed' footwear.

Tulipsaremyfavouriteflower · 22/06/2019 16:02

@justtheonethen sounds great! Wondering how much time I’ll need to commit to it, also hoping I can do what is required as I’ve no idea what it involves really!
