I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day Smile

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=c48139fc0a25bae5d07c634d0a043f5b

(Full disclosure, that's my referral code and I get $25 if you are accepted and work for Appen for 150 hours, if anyone else would like to post their referral code feel free)

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

@BlackCatFan think i might have made a fee mistakes on the cloudworkers form by the sounds of it, i put national insurance number for worker i.d and did leave a few bits blank 😬. Sent it back a couple if days ago and not heard back. How long did it take for you once you sent the forms in?

@FloofenHoofen i have been accepted to that one too but when i click work this it takes me to a different Appen login that doesnt recognize my login details.

Otterses · 21/06/2019 07:56

@justtheonethen Shock that's bloody rude of them.

Well done on Crisp! I scrapped £22.70, which I'm happy with as I only did around 8:30-10 Smile I still on track for £1000 this month.

I'm really going to try to cram some crisp in later tonight after everyone is in bed. I'm sensing some good surges today.

Weren't they adorable @Otterses Smile

Otterses · 21/06/2019 08:04

@justtheonethen it made me want six more babies Grin

Hoping for more easy ones like that today, or lots of profanity saying how shit people think the film is.

Does anyone know how to get rid of a project on Appen? I'm signed up to two speech recordings and I don't want to do them.

BlackCatFan · 21/06/2019 08:07

@Bemystarlord I think I heard back within about 3 days..

ShinyButtons · 21/06/2019 08:08

@BlackCatFan Thank you, was worrying that I'd get it wrong.
Would love to hear how you get on

justtheonethen · 21/06/2019 08:30

@FatandSassy just ignore them I think.

Otterses · 21/06/2019 08:42

Just reading this quickly I am bamboozled! What is Crisp??!!

NeverSayFreelance · 21/06/2019 08:50

Well... I just opened up the notebook I keep in my handbag to scribble something down and discovered a little birthday card inside with £30 in it. Clearly I put it in there to keep it safe and forgot to ever take it out 😂 my birthday was months ago!

Still, £30 earned today Grin

justtheonethen · 21/06/2019 08:52

@Whydoesitalwaysdothis it's a risk analyst job. Should be a link in the first post. Great earner Smile

justtheonethen · 21/06/2019 08:52

@NeverSayFreelance hurrah!

anxiouswaiting · 21/06/2019 09:50

@Otterses something to make you feel better about your lack of competition wins.

I had an e-mail letting me know the dress doesn't come in my size Blush (lovely little confidence knock there for me when I am have been fretting about how much weight I have gained since having my baby). They kindly said I could pick another dress.

The one I picked is beautiful and it arrived this morning, complete with someone elses perfume all over it, a dirt patch and a nail varnish stain!

Still had its tags on so I am guessing someone wore it, ruined it and returned it saying it didn't fit or something.

I've e-mailed and asked if I can please exchange it for a clean dress. I hope they will because otherwise I will be spending some of my earnings buying it to wear to my brothers wedding!

reddA · 21/06/2019 11:41

@anxiouswaiting how disappointing - not exactly a good way to get your future custom, hope they sort it for you!

Finally had an invite to an Appen project, it's Java though so I'm prepared to fail, has anyone passed on here?

Yesterday was a washout as I was busy in real life so I'm hoping to crack on today with Crisp and take garden breaks to read Java guidelines - it's glorious sunshine again!

Don't forget the horse racing! I did rubbish yesterday Blush

TheLolaMontez · 21/06/2019 12:03

I've just done the Java test - was invited this morning but failed, I expected to a I definitely did the first one completely wrong. Is it quite hard one to pass? Do you ever get another go? The work itself seems ok and I could manage doing it, which is typical!

TheLolaMontez · 21/06/2019 12:11

Just entered the ITV horse thing. Fingers firmly crossed.

MrsGaryLightbody · 21/06/2019 12:28

@Otterses oh help! Re clickworker
I've been happily earning away ( now over €35) and thought I'd spend a bit of time adding my PayPal details. But they want a tax number? What is this ? Please help

Bemystarlord · 21/06/2019 13:12

Quick Appen question; whenever anything new pops up and if it is suitable i will apply for it and most of the time it then goes into the in applications in progress but i noticed a couple of them didn't go in there and totally dropped off the project list seconds after i applied. Does that mean you are not accepted or is it just another weird thing that they do?

FatandSassy · 21/06/2019 13:41

Oh thanks so much for that @Otterses and @justtheonethen , I was ignoring them but I totally was worrying about it too as they keep emailing me BlushGrin

reddA · 21/06/2019 13:42

@MrsGaryLightbody I just checked my Clickworker details and it says 'I am commercial and / or freelance' NO and then there is no tax number. Hopefully that works, I've been getting payment through fine from them.

Bemystarlord · 21/06/2019 13:47

@TheLolaMontez have you heard anything back from cloudworkers yet?

TheLolaMontez · 21/06/2019 13:49

Nope @Bemystarlord have you?

Bemystarlord · 21/06/2019 13:53

@TheLolaMontez nope nothing as yet either, had hoped things might of been sorted by today. Fingers crossed we hear something soon! Have you got anything else lined up?
