I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day Smile

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=c48139fc0a25bae5d07c634d0a043f5b

(Full disclosure, that's my referral code and I get $25 if you are accepted and work for Appen for 150 hours, if anyone else would like to post their referral code feel free)

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

Poking my head in. I only do matched betting and aim for £10 a day. The last 4 weeks were exceptional and worked out as £27.90 per day which I'm mega pleased with. Hoping to keep it up!

mydogisthebest · 20/06/2019 07:59

I have been accepted for Nile at long last! I applied so long ago I have forgotten what you all said about it.

Do I have to take an exam and, if so, is it difficult? Is it good to work on and is there regular work?

MrsGaryLightbody · 20/06/2019 10:35

Morning all and your pooping babies

Someone mentioned clickworker and I joined yesterday and so far have earned £14 Smile simple work .
Anything similar?
Also Bingo.. which one to go for with very little outlay?

BlackCatFan · 20/06/2019 11:45

Appen people - this has probably been mentioned downthread but what is project Noyo? Looks like I will be doing this after they have looked over the paperwork. It will be my first project.. how much does this one pay? It says it's a one time thing.

Another question about Appen, do they pay monthly and if so on what date(s)?

Thank you

reddA · 20/06/2019 11:51

Morning :) Don't forget to do your free horse racing bets that @Otterses mentioned yesterday (Hope you are feeling better today! Flowers )

I usually do these two (very badly!!)
ITV
William Hill

I have 9 open processes with Appen - I don't think they want me :(

Otterses · 20/06/2019 11:54

Lots of good news @BlackCatFan @mydogisthebest and @MrsGaryLightbody Grin

Noyo is a £5 one. But still, £5 is £5!

Not much being done today, sorting out the house and garden for DM and DF coming to stay. I'll be staying up with Crisp until they get here, so probably till midnight, hoping it's busy.

I'm exciting non money news, I have a pumpkin plant. It's a moron. It's growing sideways. And I have a strawberry Grin

I do them badly too @reddA Grin I just pick names I like. It's not the best strategy.

And a bit better thanks Smile painkillered up with a hot water bottle stuffed down my jeans.

Got my Yuckon guidelines this morning, all 166 pages of it!!!

@MrsGaryLightbody what kind of tasks are you doing on Clickworker? Mine is just full of the Pintrest tasks but every time I click on them it says they are all assigned to other people

MrsGaryLightbody · 20/06/2019 12:42

@anxiouswaiting
Hi , yes mainly Pinterest, yesterday I did a couple of photographs but I think the trick with the Pinterest ones which I only found out this morning is when you actually get to do one don't click off or done immediately. If you stay on screen for few moments there is a little button saying next .. Smile I've done 13 in a row doing that. Am up to 21€ now. I just hope they actually pay out without hassle.

TheLolaMontez · 20/06/2019 12:43

Hey all

Fairly slow so far for me today, taking it steady as I'm feeling a bit frazzled.
Just put a bit bet on for matches betting, should make around £80 profit

That's a very cute strawberry @Otterses Grin I think I might copy you and start growing pumpkins 🎃 it's such a good idea! (Providing people buy them) Smile

Blessthekids · 20/06/2019 12:44

@anxiouswaiting I am on clickworker and the majority of the time the tasks have been taken like you say. I really wish they would remove it from available as you can waste a lot of time clicking to find out and then cancelling! I think its just a matter of luck and being there at the right time.

Good luck with Yuckon, I've applied and still waiting to hear back along with so many other ones! Sigh!

Blessthekids · 20/06/2019 12:46

@reddA you've beaten me, I have 6 open ones!

Otterses · 20/06/2019 15:56

@TheLolaMontez go for it! Worst case scenario, just stick them in your front garden with a 'free-please take' sign on your mountain of pumpkins.

I'd get planting now though 😊 at least in a propagator on the kitchen window.

Hiya girls.
Not up to date here yet but managed about £40 in total through enlightly, profilic and ohmydosh.

Still haven't heard from crisp, check emails every day (including spam), starting to worry I won't hear back ☹️

Does anyone know how to get rid of a project you don't want to do on appen? I signed up for the micro tasks and it's given me two speech things which I agreed to do but I absolutely can't and I can't work out how to get rid. Help. Please!

FloofenHoofen · 20/06/2019 22:06

Got added to Fletcher STXM today. You can tell them what hours you're available for, there's no minimum. I told them 10 a week as I've already got other projects. They were fine with this.

But also there is no max, if you want to offer 30 hours availability then that's also ok. So generally a good all rounder for a chance to have more income or more flexibility.

ShinyButtons · 20/06/2019 22:46

Had an ok couple of weeks, I've made £181 on matched betting, it's nowhere near as much as some people are making but it's still £181 I didn't have before.

Can't remember who was filling out the cloud workers forms yesterday, but I've got mine today and it's confusing. On the email it says this
Fully completed means EVERY section and especially on the last page – FIRM, FREELANCER, START DATE and FULL NAME. Blank lines are blank for a reason and nothing must be filled in on them

The only bit of that I know is my full name! Do I put anything under firm, and how do I know my start date or do I not fill them in because they're blank lines and are blank for a reason? But surely all the lines are blank, where else would you write the answers, how do I know which are which? And what is my worker ID?

Don't want to email them to ask and they think I'm thick and reject me equally I don't want to fill it in wrong and get rejected.

whatthewhatthewhat · 21/06/2019 00:15

Are there two logins for Appen? If I google Appen and login I get a page saying I haven't been approved yet... but if I go from email links it takes me to a page where I can see the job I've done? Very confusing!

whatthewhatthewhat · 21/06/2019 00:16

Also, how do you sign up to crisp?

Thanks

Otterses · 21/06/2019 06:13

@whatthewhatthewhat if you look at the first post of this thread all the information you need is there Smile

Otterses · 21/06/2019 06:17

@whatthewhatthewhat and yes, there's Appen global and Appen connect. One is micro tasks, one is long term projects.

justtheonethen · 21/06/2019 06:40

@FloofenHoofen I got a snooty email from that task telling me they were pursuing people with better suited qualifications Confused.

justtheonethen · 21/06/2019 06:40

Just checked the dashboard on crisp and made £75 yesterday Smile

BlackCatFan · 21/06/2019 06:44

@ShinyButtons don't worry about the Cloudworkers application, I missed out some information and they just emailed me back to let me know what I missed. Across from where it says Firm you write the firm name Cloudworkers and the start date is the date you fill in the form.

I start properly with them next week, just waiting for someone to set me up on the shift planner. I'll let you know how I get on...

BlackCatFan · 21/06/2019 06:44

@ShinyButtons Oh and you don't have a worker ID yet so you just leave it blank.

justtheonethen · 21/06/2019 06:45

All you lot doing cloud workers hats off to you! I couldn't do it Blush
