I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day Smile

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=c48139fc0a25bae5d07c634d0a043f5b

(Full disclosure, that's my referral code and I get $25 if you are accepted and work for Appen for 150 hours, if anyone else would like to post their referral code feel free)

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

@TheLolaMontez mine eats paper too, most of her books have a corner chewed off.

TheLolaMontez · 19/06/2019 12:00

Why do they do it @justtheonethen ? I'm forever taking books and paper off her. She's like a cat around catnip, it sends her wild. She's always very mad when I have to remove it Grin

justtheonethen · 19/06/2019 12:31

God knows, just found mine chewing on an old toilet roll Hmm

TheLolaMontez · 19/06/2019 13:44

Quick question @Bemystarlord I'm just working through the paper work Cloud have sent me - there are a lot of things I've never heard of on there, such as ICQ number and working ID - do you know what these are? Or do you leave them blank? Hmm

Bemystarlord · 19/06/2019 14:26

@TheLolaMontez the ICQ Number i left blank, I'm assuming its for non uk workers, the working i.d i put my national insurance number but I'm not sure thats right 😬 not the clearest of forms are they ?!

TheLolaMontez · 19/06/2019 14:28

Not at all @Bemystarlord 😩 I'm scared I'll get it all wrong and they'll reject me Blush I especially enjoyed taking the selfie with my ID, I look absolutely ravishing today with my hair scraped up and covered in spots Confused why the fuck I'm getting spots at my age I'll never know.

Anyway, did you rescan the whole document and send back or just the pages you actually wrote on?

TheLolaMontez · 19/06/2019 14:29

Oh and also did you do the sheet with the weird boxes on your computer or by hand? The instructions are pretty confusing and the boxes are way too small

Otterses · 19/06/2019 14:31

Feeling a bit 'meh' so did the free ITV horse racing accumulator, then bet 25p on Skybet on a different accumulator bet.

If I win, I'll have £80,000 Grin

I'm going to hang my washing out and fantasise.

OP posts:
TheLolaMontez · 19/06/2019 14:32

Best of luck @Otterses Grin that would be amazing GrinGrinGrin

Bemystarlord · 19/06/2019 14:37

@TheLolaMontez ha ha i look like a flipping convict in my photo 🤣

I did that one on the computer, the other two that we had to hand write i scanned the whole document back onto the computer. Attached them all along with my driving licence, my mug shot with driving licence and then a bank statement. But like you i don't feel confident I've filled them 100% correctly because they are just not user friendly! I sent them last night and not heard anything yet, will let you know if i do.

Good luck @Otterses

Otterses · 19/06/2019 14:39

@TheLolaMontez

You're too late today, but if you download the ITV app you can do it tomorrow Grin

You just pick 7 horses to win, if you get all 7 right you get £100000 I think it is.

I won't lie, I could do with £80,000! Our tenants have given notice, and we really struggled finding anyone last time, so it looks like I might be paying the full mortgage for a while too Sad

OP posts:
TheLolaMontez · 19/06/2019 14:48

I didn't look the best, thank God it's not webcam work Grin

I could just use £80,000 too @Otterses sigh Sorry to hear about your tenant, that sucks. Hopefully to won't take too long. Do you have an advert any of us could share for you?

bkaz · 19/06/2019 17:49

@Otterses Thanks for the instruction.

Otterses · 19/06/2019 18:11

@TheLolaMontez I may do at some point!

The letting agent seemed optimistic. I'm going to leave it with them and ask around to see if anyone we know might be interested. Hopefully we can sort something out relatively quickly.

Still waiting on my rebate.

£1 on Profilic today for listening to sounds of beer being poured Hmm

Signed up for the focus group @reddA recommended. The £150 impressed me!

I'd really like to do more market research to be honest, I need to sign up to more sites.

I think I'm going to re-jig things. I'm wasting time on crisp during the day when it's just too quiet. Tomorrow, I'm using nap time to do Nile, some competitions, then saving Crisp for the evenings. I know competitors are clearly a waste of my time Grin but I may win a packet of crisps one day!

OP posts:
Otterses · 19/06/2019 18:14

@bkaz give us a shout if you run into any problems Smile

FloofenHoofen · 19/06/2019 19:25

How many hours on average are you doing on crisp and how much are you making realistically? Asking out of curiosity.

Otterses · 19/06/2019 19:32

@FloofenHoofen I'd say an hour-hour and a half a day, other than this week where I've done 3ish while watching TV.

I average £11 an hour, depending on how busy it is. There's times with limited content, so I flit between that and Nile to maximise the time, and have Profilic open in the background so jump on any surveys that come through.

OP posts:
FloofenHoofen · 19/06/2019 19:39

That's quite reasonable I'm impressed!

TheLolaMontez · 19/06/2019 20:29

@Otterses, what is Nile?

TheLolaMontez · 19/06/2019 20:30

Had a pretty good day today with matched betting, that's pretty much all I've done today aside from a couple surveys in Prolific. There was one for £6 but just as soon as it popped up it was full Sad

Otterses · 19/06/2019 20:40

@TheLolaMontez it's a project on Appen Smile

OP posts:
TheLolaMontez · 19/06/2019 20:52

Ahhh! I'm hoping I get more Appen soon, applied for another two today 🤞🏼

Otterses · 19/06/2019 21:05

Writing off today. Banging head, and the floodgates have opened Envy off to bed with a hot water bottle. Going to aim for 4am instead to make up for it.

OP posts:
justtheonethen · 19/06/2019 21:11

@Otterses hope you feel better soon

classedasarsehole · 19/06/2019 22:17
