I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day Smile

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=c48139fc0a25bae5d07c634d0a043f5b

(Full disclosure, that's my referral code and I get $25 if you are accepted and work for Appen for 150 hours, if anyone else would like to post their referral code feel free)

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

@Otterses I finished on £37 last night, which is the most in a few days. Hoping it'll pick up for the rest of the week! Aiming to try and get as close to £1000 by next week 😱. Typically it's busy now when I'm on the school run 😩

Otterses · 19/06/2019 08:55

@0htooooodles I'll dig it out! Google Moneyformummy - she's a blogger that did the exam. Failed first time, then passed the second attempt

@anxiouswaiting I'm fuming. Toy Story on Friday should mean it's really busy, but my parents are visiting for the weekend Grin DS did a shit on the back door step yesterday. He's out to get me. I need their support haha.

@Otterses I'm sorry but your ds doing a shit on the step has made me laugh so much 🤣. My dd is 1 and she's largely feral so I can imagine her doing this too.

Otterses · 19/06/2019 09:12

@justtheonethen it's okay Grin my mum laughed too. I've nearly forgiven him for me nearly stepping in it. I don't know if we're maybe entering potty training territory, he's started removing his nappy whenever he needs to piss/shit.

I'm sorry you also have a feral DD Grin I think around 1 was when DS began showing his beast like tendencies. I wish you luck. All that reassures me is apparently I was just like DS, and I'm now a functioning adult who doesn't drink from puddles, eat woodlice or whip my nappy off and piss in front of relatives at family parties Grin

Grin sounds like I'm in for some fun.

Bemystarlord · 19/06/2019 09:48

Morning all :)
I can sympathise @Otterses my son did a shit in my mums flower pot once - not sure that human waste is an appropriate fertilizer 🤣

Bit more progress today! Contract sent off to cloudworkers, the test popped up for the different Fletcher one so have done and passed that and there was also a new project I've not seen before called Saluda so registered for that too so 🤞 things are moving in the right direction. Have a mystery shop pun lunch to do today as well 😁

Otterses · 19/06/2019 09:57

@justtheonethen I recommend using some of your extra earrings for a mini, indoor toddler trampoline Grin

Fingers crossed @Bemystarlord ! Appen really is worth persevering with long term Smile a project will come up eventually.

@Otterses great idea Grin

justtheonethen · 19/06/2019 10:06

Appen hates me. I've applied for every project I can months ago and nothing Sad

Bemystarlord · 19/06/2019 10:13

Mecca bingo are doing a free £5 offer for new sign ups with no deposit required. Worth a try :)

MrsKappa · 19/06/2019 10:30

Hi @Bemystarlord can I ask how you know you passed the Fletcher test? It popped up on mine too this morning but I can't see if I've passed it?! Fingers crossed!! Smile

Bemystarlord · 19/06/2019 10:33

@mrskappa The first time i did it i got the last question wrong and it said to retry and the second time when i finished it took me through to the bit where you sign your email etc.

TheLolaMontez · 19/06/2019 10:41

Checking in - stories of feral children shitting all over the place made me smile.
My feral baby (11 months) shat all over this morning and then ran (crawled very fast) through the house without a nappy on and bright orange poo stuck all up her bottom/back/legs/feet. It was a swift scoop and deposit in the shower, which she loves. I think she did it on purpose just so she could be power showered - it makes her giggle.
Anyway, I'll be spending most of the day match betting I think, being as Ascot is on, there should be enough to bet on. I quite like betting on the horses as the races are always over pretty quick, you don't have to wait hours like you do with tennis/football.
I hope I get more correspondence from Clouds today. I said I wanted to go ahead yesterday and still waiting to hear back, the back and forth is a bit slow... I'm unsure how it works with regards extra work there, can you just log on and do some when you fancy on top of what you've agreed to? I could have pretty much been on it for the majority of yesterday as everything else was so slow.

MrsKappa · 19/06/2019 10:41

@Bemystarlord Great, thank you!

Bemystarlord · 19/06/2019 10:55

@TheLolaMontez i found it took about 24hrs for each reply from them. I think from what i read you can dip in anytime as long as there is a certain amount of messages in the queue waiting to be answered. What hours did they offer you? The ones the sent me are crap but still better than none!

TheLolaMontez · 19/06/2019 10:59

@Bemystarlord - They said in the e-mail that I had to commit to 8 hours over the weekend, split however I liked and then four hours during the week, so 12 total per week. They want them doing between odd hours though, I think it's 1am-9am or something(?) Which is ok, I can get up at 6am and do three hours potentially or stay up late at the weekend. Not sure what I'm going to do yet, will figure something!

Bemystarlord · 19/06/2019 11:03

Snap, thinking of doing the same as you as theres no way i can stay up that late these days 🤣

reddA · 19/06/2019 11:08

Sorry @Otterses I am Pmsl too Grin
I've been averaging £16 on Crisp the last 3 days so I really need to get back on it! Postie just knocked and I had the £25 vouchers from Clearblue and a £50 cheque from Populus so that was good :)
It's gorgeous outside and I want to go and sit in the sun - I might give myself a target on Crisp and then go out for a bit.

TheLolaMontez · 19/06/2019 11:14

It's not gorgeous here @reddA - can we swap? Smile

anxiouswaiting · 19/06/2019 11:48

Ok I think I am a fool after the nightmare I had with the speech collection on the Appen microtask site, but on the good Appen site project Freeman has come up, looks like the samesort of thing but it's $100. At the usual Appen rate of $14/r that would be 7hrs work which is more realistic, especially now I know about the dictation option. I have applied - can't believe I am desperate enough to put myself through that again!

Also had a nice £150 in my account for a diary style research project I did (found out about it via Focus Force). That's given the months earnings a nice little boost Grin

@Otterses Thank you, I've found the moneyformummy blog, I'll give it a read

reddA · 19/06/2019 11:49

@TheLolaMontez I definitely get more work done when it's crap weather! I'm on the west coast and am itching to just walk down to the beach, Crisp is quite slow so... (No willpower!! Blush )

justtheonethen · 19/06/2019 11:52

@anxiouswaiting I saw that one too. Seriously considering it Grin

justtheonethen · 19/06/2019 11:53

@anxiouswaiting just clicked Freeman and you have to be 65+ Sad

TheLolaMontez · 19/06/2019 11:55

Ahh @reddA I wish we lived near the coast, although I'd get nothing done either! We are pretty much smack bang in the middle of England, surrounded by fields, which is equally lovely but a bit shit when it's pissing it down.
I'm just being harassed by my tiny human. She's OBSESSED with trying to eat paper!

anxiouswaiting · 19/06/2019 11:56

@justtheonethen oh I didn't see that! I guess my application will get declined then. Probably for the best, it is a terrible job haha!
