I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day Smile

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=c48139fc0a25bae5d07c634d0a043f5b

(Full disclosure, that's my referral code and I get $25 if you are accepted and work for Appen for 150 hours, if anyone else would like to post their referral code feel free)

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

@GoodPlaceJanet snap!

@FloofenHoofen I'm tempted to give it a try. It sounds less irritating than Fletcher Grin

OP posts:
FloofenHoofen · 15/06/2019 16:38

GoodPlaceJanet you should of been directed to it when you clicked qualify. If not then go into your active processes and look for Fletcher and click "view task" that should take you to the exam.

It's really quite simple stuff to be fair Otterses but I've already 4 projects now and I think I'm overloading myself with this one.

Otterses · 15/06/2019 17:31

@FloofenHoofen Shock

I think 'just say no' may be the best for you!

Even I'm a bit skeptical, there's only so many hours in the day.

OP posts:
GoodPlaceJanet · 15/06/2019 17:36

Thanks Floofen. It's not there. I got an email asking me to take the qualification test so I've replied to that to let them know.

FloofenHoofen · 15/06/2019 17:38

Otterses I think you're right. I might give it a go but I'm tempted to not bother with this one.
Did you manage to find the exam ok?

FloofenHoofen · 15/06/2019 17:39

GoodPlaceJanet how strange, I was directed straight to it. Good job emailing them, hopefully they sort it out.

Blessthekids · 15/06/2019 17:55

For those doing speaking task, how is it going? I started today and am on 101. Some of the things they ask you to say are interesting Hmm. The dictation button is helpful at least!

anxiouswaiting · 15/06/2019 19:46

@GoodPlaceJanet same for me. I applied and it says in progress. Then I got an e-mail asking me to take the test but I can't find it anywhere.

@FloofenHoofen was the test very difficult?

BlackCatFan · 15/06/2019 20:25

Woo finally passed Crisp. Now I'm on the waiting list too... Do they pay by PayPal or just bank account?

Otterses · 15/06/2019 21:27

Typically, I just get in, and crisp is dead Grin I'm going to hold on till 11, and see if it picks up.

OP posts:
0htooooodles · 15/06/2019 21:58

@Otterses it's been busy all day - sorry! probably not what you wanted to hear Grin

FloofenHoofen · 15/06/2019 23:00

anxiouswaiting no it was really simple. Just follow the guidelines it's literally all there. There's only 10 questions as well, most of the exams I've done on Appen have been between 25-50 question exams.

anxiouswaiting · 15/06/2019 23:09

@FloofenHoofen Oh I like the sound of that, fingers crossed they will get back to me and let me know where I can find the exam

Otterses · 16/06/2019 07:18

I'm challenging myself today, to not look at my Crisp dashboard till midnight Grin hopefully today should be a busy day.

OP posts:
FloofenHoofen · 16/06/2019 08:51

So apparently there may be a reason you're not seeing the Fletcher exam pop up, it's because their project is full already!

anxiouswaiting · 16/06/2019 12:45

@FloofenHoofen oh that's annoying! I need more Appen work, currently doing Inari but thats max 1hr a day and my others have been in progress for ages. Need a good appen one or Crisp to come through for me so I can but my Joie spin Grin

Otterses · 16/06/2019 14:22

@FloofenHoofen Angry to be fair it's probably not a good time for me to start something new! Turns out DH won't be coming back for weekends, and he's actually gone for four weeks in total.

I'll struggle to just keep Crisp up Grin

Right, my mid month total isssssss:

£479.70 ! An average of £31.98 a day, if that carries on I'll hit £959, which is about £50 off my £1000 target this month. I need to up my game.

How's everyone else getting on?

OP posts:
FloofenHoofen · 16/06/2019 17:38

Sorry to hear that Otterses I know it's hard work when you're sole charge. My DH is away for usually 3 months at a time, so I can relate.

TheLolaMontez · 16/06/2019 18:13

Afternoon all, I've had a reply from the cloud workers! 10p per message sent, not sure if it's reply worth it. That and the hours, had to be 8 hours on sat/Sunday and then you have to commit to doing work between 1am -9am mon -fri. I think it might be a bit too much of an ask for not a lot of reward...

Blessthekids · 16/06/2019 18:37

@TheLolaMontez yes those hours are not really viable either. Fingers crossed we will hear from Crisp soon.

Mamaslave18 · 16/06/2019 21:27

Still only on 600 for this damn Fletcher! How many ways can I start a timer?!?!

I’ve been on the Crisp waiting list since this all started!

DollyPlastic · 16/06/2019 22:40

How long is that you've been waiting for Crisp then, if you don't mind me asking?

TheValleyGirl · 17/06/2019 07:17

I've been waiting about 6 weeks so far for Crisp Hmm

Misskitty86 · 17/06/2019 07:42

Still waiting if my first crisp payment, I sent them an invoice on Thursday to pay into my bank account - now wondering if PayPal would have been quicker but I noticed someone said we have to pay fees to get paid this way? I was sure that on wiki it says they would cover the fees, can anyone clarify this? Thank you xx

Otterses · 17/06/2019 08:22

£36 from crisp yesterday doing 7-10:30 Grin I was faffing and watching TV too, but I'm happy with that.

@FloofenHoofen I should really be used to it by now! I'm finding as DS gets older it's getting harder. It's just exhausting being responsible for everything, isn't it?

I really hope potential Crispers don't have too long of a wait, but again, I'd really discourage putting all your eggs in one basket. Even if you get in, it can be unreliable and have really strange quiet periods of little/no work.

Hoping for a surge or a good Profilic study when DS has a nap/goes to bed today.
