I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day Smile

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=c48139fc0a25bae5d07c634d0a043f5b

(Full disclosure, that's my referral code and I get $25 if you are accepted and work for Appen for 150 hours, if anyone else would like to post their referral code feel free)

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

@justtheonethen no, Appen Smile

I imagine Crisp will come through today though, PayPal invoices are normally really quick.

You been paid yet?

justtheonethen · 13/06/2019 10:09

No not yet. Praying it comes today Grin

Otterses · 13/06/2019 10:13

Grin I'm sure it will! I hope you've planned yourself a naice treat after all that hard work.

I'm going to smash Crisp next week AND the week after by the way. DH is away so I can stay up all night in bed drinking coffee and watching trashy TV while I work Grin

Thanks @Otterses yes, we're married Smile I'll get on that today. I'm due a £2000 rebate already from them (eagerly awaiting it's arrival) - it takes them up to two weeks to do a friggin bank transfer!! They're not that slow when they're collecting it Hmm

Otterses · 13/06/2019 10:21

@TheLolaMontez funny that Grin I'm still waiting to hear back from mine.

Morning :) Crisp has gone quiet this morning which is a bugger as it's lovely and peaceful here and I was hoping to have a good session - typical Grin

justtheonethen · 13/06/2019 10:28

@reddA Very annoying. Was just thinking the same thing!

Otterses · 13/06/2019 10:47

@justtheonethen @reddA Shock I've never seen it that low!

Thankfully it's not quiet here, so hopefully it'll pick up this afternoon.

Just had an email from lionbridge about transcription of audio- it's just short sentences. Pay is 0.08usd per utterance and they think you can do 100-120 per hour. That's a bit crap isn't it? So £6-£7.50 per hour 🙄

BlackCatFan · 13/06/2019 12:15

@Bemystarlord it took about two days for them to respond. Although this was my 3rd attempt at applying, so I don't think they always reply.. if you don't get a response maybe just submit your application again. After they got back to me the communication was very quick. You have to do the training through Skype though, to my knowledge. You could always set up an account?

FloofenHoofen · 13/06/2019 13:01

Anyone had issues with PayPal linked to Payoneer?
PayPal have now twice limited my account/held my funds, for various reasons.
First time was because I was getting close to their withdrawal amount limits, and today they've held my funds because they detect my account is high risk and need to do internal security checks.
I'm absolutely fed up with them, and I'm trying to change it to bank transfer but Payoneer's link won't even let me bloody put my bank details in!! They're saying I have to close my account and start a new one with bank transfer set up as payment method. I could honestly cry.

To top it off my boiler broke this morning.
Can only go up from here I suppose!

Sparklfairy · 13/06/2019 13:12

FloofenHoofen have you done everything on this link with paypal?

www.paypal.com/uk/smarthelp/article/faq1253

FloofenHoofen · 13/06/2019 13:15

Sparklfairy what's funny is that I had already done all of that!
It wanted me to reconfirm my address and my card and then did nothing. I don't have the limit in place now but I didn't receive an email or anything to confirm that limits had now been lifted.

Now my money is being held for a completely different reason!

Sparklfairy · 13/06/2019 13:23

FloofenHoofen that's awful Sad and one of the reasons why I avoid using paypal for anything! Hopefully it won't be too long Flowers. Definitely see if you can set up another account for bank transfer... does the paypal limit apply to moving money between paypal accounts? Probably a daft idea, but if you could move the money to a close friend/partner/family member's paypal and then they withdraw it to give to you maybe you could circumvent the security checks?

0htooooodles · 13/06/2019 14:37

Crisp guys - Do you get charged a fee for being paid via paypal? I opted to bank payment, but wasn't sure on the logistics!

justtheonethen · 13/06/2019 14:52

Yes PayPal will charge a fee. 3.4% + 20p I think

justtheonethen · 13/06/2019 15:48

Woohoo crisp have paid!

Otterses · 13/06/2019 15:57

Angry my crisp money is being held hostage by PayPal.

In other awful news, it's raining, my borders are now a moat, and I don't have any gin.

Quidco have a £40 cashback deal for foxy bingo for wagering £10, so I'm working my way through that. Hoping for a big win obviously Grin

justtheonethen · 13/06/2019 15:57

@Otterses noooooooo why?

Blessthekids · 13/06/2019 16:25

Finally on Appen and I too am going to give Fletcher a go Hmm

@TheLolaMontez how did you resolve that Pin issue in the end as I too cannot see an obvious pin anywhere, I have had no email and the guidelines just say we will email you!

TheLolaMontez · 13/06/2019 16:38

@Blessthekids I ended up e-mailing them twice and complaining I'd not received anything. It was a while before I got the email through Hmm

Blessthekids · 13/06/2019 16:45

Thanks x

bkaz · 13/06/2019 17:32

@TheLolaMontez and Otterseas isn't there a dictaphone to use on the android for the Fletcher Project? We as long as there is not a deadline I can plod along with it until complete. sad face

Blessthekids · 13/06/2019 19:00

Appen replied to say I'm no longer eligible as suddenly I'm not a native English speaker from the UK🙄. That is literally the only thing I definitely am 😂😂
