I can't believe this has been going for nearly half a year!

As always, everyone is welcome to join us in earning an extra £10 a day Smile

There's hundreds of ways to manage this, but here is a list of some of the sites that are discussed frequently, and know caused some confusion for our new joiners last time.

Appen - a contracting website that offers a wide variety of work from social media evaluation, to voice based work. Please do not sign up to the Appen site you google, use this link, or you won't register correctly and you'll waste time waiting for projects that won't come your way.

https://connect.appen.com/qrp/public/jobs?uref=c48139fc0a25bae5d07c634d0a043f5b

(Full disclosure, that's my referral code and I get $25 if you are accepted and work for Appen for 150 hours, if anyone else would like to post their referral code feel free)

Axie Infinity - A crypto currency based game, the idea being that you breed 'creatures' battle them, then sell them on for profit to other gamers. Money can also be made through people renting land from you, or using your Axie to breed with theirs.

Leapforce - was Leapforce, now Appen.

Cloudworkers - Saucy chat site that pays per message.

Crisp - online website moderation, more information can be found here - https://survey.crispthinking.com/risk-analyst. There may also be references to the dashboard, Klipfolio and atlassian and slack, which are all tools used by crisp.

LionBridge - similar to Appen.

Anyone on Appen Crescent? Applied about a month ago and got excited when I had my acceptance e-mail today but when I try and work it says no tasks available. Anyone know what the workflow is usually like?

WithAllIntenseAndPurposes · 12/06/2019 13:13

Still no blooming statement 🙄

Otterses · 12/06/2019 13:33

@WithAllIntenseAndPurposes don't remind me 😪 ...

360/871 recordings done. Losing the will to live...

Otterses · 12/06/2019 13:38

@TheLolaMontez is using the dictation feature actually any easier?

OP posts:
TheLolaMontez · 12/06/2019 13:40

I've just done it through the AMR app, I'm recording voice then writing down what I've done in the app itself. Is there another (hopefully) quicker way?

Otterses · 12/06/2019 13:43

They recommend you use the dictation feature, so you just say the phrase twice rather than saying it than writing it Smile

Sadly Appen didn't tell anyone about it for bloody ages Grin

I have managed nothing so far today. Between teething and the 18 month sleep regression, I've spent most of my day trying to get DS to nap without success.

SUCCESS! As I was typing he finally fell asleep 😬 coffee and crisp time.

TheLolaMontez · 12/06/2019 14:32

Whaaaat?! I have tried (accidentally) to submit a few without writing anything and it tells me off. So if I just say it twice it will let me submit?

TheLolaMontez · 12/06/2019 15:45

oh, I just realised - using the dictation on the keyboard. I've given it a go but I'm a fairly fast typer anyway so didn't save me much time. Done 572 now gah can't wait til this one is over!

justtheonethen · 12/06/2019 17:25

Woohoo statements are in! £890- £90 more than I expected 🥳

fishandchops · 12/06/2019 18:00

Got my statement for last month £161 £40 more than it estimated. Gonna try harder for the rest of this month

Otterses · 12/06/2019 18:11

£264 !

@justtheonethen as per usual, I'm in awe Shock

OP posts:
0htooooodles · 12/06/2019 18:11

£528 for me on crisp! Not bad when I started mid month! Determined to get nearer £900 next month 😁

justtheonethen · 12/06/2019 18:15

@Otterses was my first month too! I'm a bit in awe too 🤣

reddA · 12/06/2019 18:54

Wow - amazing totals!! £365 for me, I blame the sun Blush Today has been a write off as ExP organised for a friend to do some work on the house so I've not been able to settle down and do a decent stretch ffs - hopefully tomorrow will be better!

BlackCatFan · 12/06/2019 19:03

Ooh just did the Crisp test. Wasn't even thinking about it and got 17/20! Still have to retake it to get the pass mark.. then I'll be on the waiting list. Wonder if it's a very long wait...

TheLolaMontez · 12/06/2019 19:29

These crisp totals are amazing! Well done all of you Shock I can't wait to start, I'm tired of talking to the Appen app now Confused
What do you reckon the average is from crisp? If I could earn a £1000 a month I'd be over the moon

mycatisblack · 12/06/2019 19:30

I only got 18/20 on the Crisp test. Wonder what I missed?
Can you re-do it?

TheLolaMontez · 12/06/2019 19:34

Yes as many times as you like, took me a few loads of attempts to pass

Blessthekids · 12/06/2019 19:36

Yes you can retake the test multiple times.

@BlackCatFan I think people have waited on several weeks but on another site, someone said they waited over 4 months Shock

reddA · 12/06/2019 20:07

Ok, I've had a glass of wine but @mycatisblack and @BlackCatFan really???? Is that a coincidence Grin
