Hello veterans and newbies Grin can't believe we're still going a quarter of the way through the year!

I don't know about everyone else, but I've been crap at tracking properly. Obviously I've got invoices to go off, but I'm going to try to be better this month.

Good start this morning! £28 (£18 less my £10 deposit) on a virgin bonanza box, £8 cashback on the virgin deal too. £10.61 Appen work already done today. I most likely won't do any Crisp today, as I've got an essay due Friday I need to crack on with.

£36.31 so far this month.

How's everyone else ticking along?

Hmmm I seem to be a bit stuck with appen- every project status says “basic qualification package to be reviewed by appen” but when I first applied they emailed and said that this had been done ? Is this normal? I’m thinking of switching over to lionbridge as I’m not getting anywhere with appen and lionbridge keep asking me to start!

Otterses · 26/05/2019 08:15

Dismal morning on Crisp! I got up at 5, and managed to scrape £12 Hmm ... I worked till 7! On the bright side, done Nile this morning already, cleaned downstairs including the oven after a jacket potato explosion. I actually feel a lot better for getting up at 5! Maybe this is a new daily routine and I can use the rest of the day for other money making ideas Grin

And obvs. Sent my axies into battle.

@Otterses how annoying! There was actually a surge on at 7 and I made £8 in about half an hour! Looks busy today so 🤞🏻

Good job on the oven cleaning! Really need to do mine

WheelyCote · 26/05/2019 10:00

WheelyCote · 26/05/2019 10:02

OOoooo did i say i got my old iphone to download teh new ios which means I can have a go at java again. Failed the last time round

LittleAndOften · 26/05/2019 11:44

Hello busy peeps. Small win this morning. I finally got off my arse last week and returned a bag of asos clothes I ordered last December which didn't fit and I never returned. I had no idea if they would refund after so long but turns out £80 is on its way to my account!

Hi everyone! Read this entire thread whilst I couldn't sleep last night Smile money is properly tight at the minute, have had to move my dad into our tiny 2 bed to save money and we're still struggling. Have been doing those rubbish surveys for like 5p which 99% of the time screen you out after a load of questions.

Did the crisp thinking test and got 19 out of 20 first time . So hope I pass the next test! The money you all seem to be earning would really, really help. Sounds like relatively interesting work as well? More interesting than typing my name and address in 7 million times for coppers anyway! Going to apply for Appen tonight on my computer once I've updated my CV. Also signed up for:-

Prolific
Enlightly
Receipt hog
Be my eye
Maruvoice UK
Roamler - this looks really good, loads of well paying tasks in my area!
HuYu

And I'm also looking into Healthy wage, 63336 and Take Note. Joys of insomnia Grin

Just wanted to ask, does anybody do this as well as work? I'm a working single parent so I'll only be able to do it in the evenings and a couple of hours Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from September when DD starts school (will be working from home in my real job in the mornings). Is there quite a lot of work available or is there less at peak times (which I'm assuming evenings will be, with lots of people available then to work)?

Thank you so much OP and everyone for this thread. I've just set up a Monzo account to transfer spends for food/ petrol in every week and I'm going to leave my main bank account alone as much as possible to ensure my bills actually get paid, and hopefully with this extra work I can start paying off my overdraft (which has the most extortionate fees). If I do start making a little spare money, I'm going to look into matched betting (no money to spare for initial lay outs at present) I'm feeling hopeful money wise for the first time in ages. Thanks again Smile

PollyShelby · 26/05/2019 12:31

I was planning on crisping this morning but it's very slow, no point really. I'll try later.

@Otterses I thought early morning would be a good time, worth knowing that it's probably not.

WheelyCote · 26/05/2019 13:09

Dogs walked and bathed. Stood in whats left of the bathroom😂 armageddon. Having a coffee whilst decixing if i can hoover the hairs up the wallConfused

Always im a single mum and work full time and also overtime. Im just starting out on this online working so i cant tell u how realistic it is to do it all but i do know that therell be no harm in having a go. What have u got to looseFlowers

WheelyCote · 26/05/2019 14:23

Sitting the Java exam again. Taking a quick loo break and to bite my nails

WheelyCote · 26/05/2019 14:40

Failed again and doesnt like I'll get another chance

BeeMyBaby · 26/05/2019 15:22

@always crisp has more work in the evenings as that's when everyone is faffing on social media.
Take note has work whenever you want it really, with 6 hour shifts (basically they give you a file and you have 6 hours to complete it). However if you don't want to spend 6 hours doing it then you can request a max amount of audio per shift, say 20 mins which would probably take between 1-2 hours to do depending on how how clear/fast they speak. The only times they've had no work available for my shifts (always evening/night) have been bank holiday Mondays.

fishandchops · 26/05/2019 17:22

@WheelyCote I failed the java test too, that's twice now so don't think I'll get another go. To be honest it was very confusing.

Otterses · 26/05/2019 18:57

So basically, Java sucks Grin

I'm seriously getting annoyed about competitions now. I've entered over 3000 now Angry where's my free bottle of wine!?

OP posts:
Frenchdoors1 · 26/05/2019 18:58

Over 3000! And you haven't won anything yet Otterses Sad

BlackCatFan · 26/05/2019 19:48

Hi everyone. I've been lurking on the thread! I applied for the chat moderator job at Cloudworkers and received a response.. it would appear it's sexy chat/flirting ... 🙄 but I read downthread that a couple of you are doing this job - what is it like? And how much are you earning on average? I'm really not sure about it..

Otterses · 26/05/2019 19:56

@BlackCatFan as far as I'm aware only one of us is working for cloud worker! @Bbub I think Grin she's be the best one to ask.

OP posts:
Otterses · 26/05/2019 19:59

@Frenchdoors1 I'm seriously considering writing to the daily mail with my best sad face about it in the hopes they'll give me a prize!

I think I'm just dreadfully unlucky. I can't say I'm even entering ones with high desirability. I've entered to win some right shite Grin my day will come!

OP posts:
justtheonethen · 26/05/2019 20:26

So do we think Crisp will be busy tonight when the election results come out? Trying to decide if it's worth staying up!

0htooooodles · 26/05/2019 21:01

Anyone doing crisp at the moment? The spanish translations on the the redbull stuff...i fear it'll be a long night Shock

anxiouswaiting · 26/05/2019 21:04

@Otterses I used to do a lot of competitions. No massive wins but have had books, a hamper, some baby items. Have you checked when the comps you entered finish? I once had a prize turn up about 8 months after I entered. It can be a real waiting game

Otterses · 26/05/2019 21:11

@justtheonethen @0htooooodles the red bull ones have fried my brain 😂 I'm leaving it for today. £36 in the end. I think I may try another early, DS has just gone to sleep so I'll imagine he'll sleep in tomorrow.

@anxiouswaiting I've got a load for June-August outstanding Grin my fingers are crossed.

OP posts:
0htooooodles · 26/05/2019 21:20

@otterses that's awesome! it's at 1300 and no surge currently, gahhh!

Otterses · 26/05/2019 21:23

@0htooooodles wahhhhhh ... if I go to bed, I bet there's a good one. Like 2.4 Angry

Ohhhh ... maybe I'll do another half hour ...

0htooooodles · 26/05/2019 21:31
