Hello veterans and newbies Grin can't believe we're still going a quarter of the way through the year!

I don't know about everyone else, but I've been crap at tracking properly. Obviously I've got invoices to go off, but I'm going to try to be better this month.

Good start this morning! £28 (£18 less my £10 deposit) on a virgin bonanza box, £8 cashback on the virgin deal too. £10.61 Appen work already done today. I most likely won't do any Crisp today, as I've got an essay due Friday I need to crack on with.

£36.31 so far this month.

How's everyone else ticking along?

@morekidsthanhands Did you email your unsure items in or message them on Slack? I sent some in but haven't had any feedback. I'm so scared to get it wrong at the moment I am going crazy slow and only managed about 20 items in 2 sessions!

Frenchdoors1 · 14/05/2019 18:44

Hey @BlockRockinBeats
Those look interesting on Respondent!
Do we need to sign up to Respondent in the first place to do these tasks? 🙂

fiddie · 14/05/2019 19:20

@OnlyBejoking have you just started too? I've been very slow too and I'm not sure if I'm doing okay or not.

I'm getting loads of notifications from slack but no idea what they mean.

BlockRockinBeats · 14/05/2019 19:22

@Frenchdoors1 I think if you click on one of my links, you will be taken through the joining procedure for Respondent. Good luck!

Frenchdoors1 · 14/05/2019 19:29

@BlockRockinBeats

Thanks.
Thing is, I'm awaiting my results from Crisp to see how I did on the initial test. So, if I sign up to Respondent and I pass the Crisp test I may have too much to do! Decisions decisions Smile

morekidsthanhands · 14/05/2019 19:57

@onlybejoking I emailed them to the moderation email pinned to the top of slack and always got a reply within 24 hours. Going slow at first won't be any bother I'm sure it only affects you and your payments at the end of the day.
I have slack open to track surges and also to message whoever is listed as 'SS' to tell them about anything concerning (suicide threats etc). Have a good read of atlassian it will tell you the procedures for things like that.

Beardsticklemyfancy · 14/05/2019 21:22

Just done the Crisp test for the second time. Not improved at all. Still just 16 out of 20. Can't see where I am going wrong. On some, I can only see 1 or 2 issues. The test is the same each time. I am answering it differently and still getting the same result. Blush

WheelyCote · 14/05/2019 21:34

Do you tell people in your life that your doing surveys, working online?

A prolific survey came through....was chuffed. Started it and at the moment by DP rang up twice (we dont live together). 3rd time I answered and said I was doing a survey. He asked for how much and I felt daft saying 2.50 but it is what it is. He said 'are you that desperate'. i said 'no!' but it all adds up and get me paying off my car repair sooner.

I hadnt thought that id be embarassed about it but i wont tell him again. He is nobhead at the minute.

Otterses · 14/05/2019 21:41

@WheelyCote I don't openly talk about it, even with DH. Like you I feel almost embarrassed, which is daft really. Others should be ashamed of not taking advantage of all that money up for grabs Grin

WheelyCote · 14/05/2019 21:45

Feel better now. Told him he's a nobhead Grin

WheelyCote · 14/05/2019 21:48

Thanks Ottersees
its daft isn't it. Doing something is better than nothing....and even just a few quid may lead us onto the next thing that earns double that and so on.

I'm going to keep it to myself after that. Does DH know about Crisp and Appen...you've done really well with it

StrippingTheVelvet · 15/05/2019 00:09

Thanks for the links Block. Hopefully you'll still get the referral bonuses as I'm already signed up to Respondent.

Otterses · 15/05/2019 07:13

@WheelyCote he knows about Crisp and Appen Grin I only let him know of my successes.

And I agree 😂 he is being a nob head.

Crispers - On the dashboard to track how many items you've done, does anyone know what the missing value means?

Fizbo · 15/05/2019 09:57

@Beardsticklemyfancy completely agree I have had the same questions every time in the same order and completely changed my responses yet always get 17? I'm going to get DH to take it tonight just out of interest. @WheelyCote every little definitely helps I made about £200 on my last year of Mat leave from Prolific YouGov, and Enlightly with no real effort at all. I was able to pay my car tax and yearly professional fees without touching my savings for just sitting about on my phone when the baby slept. All those small amounts soon rack up Smile

SqueakyPigs · 15/05/2019 10:03

Just tried the initial crisp test and only got 17. Can I just redo it or do I need to wait?

justtheonethen · 15/05/2019 10:34

@0htooooodles been wondering that myself.

@SqueakyPigs you can just retake it.

Otterses · 15/05/2019 12:07

Anyone been invited to Crescent on Appen? Looks a bit like data mining to me Hmm ...

Speaking of mining Grin my new passport has arrived so I'm going to buy myself some crypto currency and start messing around with Axie Infinity. See what I can make out of a £10 investment.

OP posts:
Otterses · 15/05/2019 15:09

Etc has been purchased Grin it's been soaring in value, so I actually bought £20 and left half in my wallet in case it seems sensible to sell up.

Now deciding which one of these things to buy ... the one with a little poo on it's head perhaps?

May you earn £10 a day thread!

Bbub · 15/05/2019 15:10

I might dip my toe into Axie Infinity as well OP I have no idea what it's all about but game for a try!!

anxiouswaiting · 15/05/2019 15:34

@Otterses I have been invited to Cresent as well. Also just passed test for Inari-c which is good as thats a 1 hour a day task and will cover my £10 a day so anything more is a bonus.

Feeling pretty pleased as parcel man has just turned up with a room spray, baby sleeping bag and some baby books that I paid a grand total of £3.09 for taking part in a project a couple of weeks ago and I also found a 10% code online and used when I ordered.

@WheelyCote my husband makes comments too and laughs saing I spend too much time earning pence. I am looking forward to seeing the look on his face at the end of the year when I show him just how much we have saved with vouchers I earn and extra cash from researxh, Appen etc

Otterses · 15/05/2019 15:51

@Bbub for a tenner, it looks like good fun anyway Grin obviously if you can turn a profit that's great.

I guess it's basically like a tamagotchi in a way! The idea is you look after it, feed it, have battles to gain 'experience' then breed them. No idea what makes an axie better than another, but some people are willing to pay huge amounts for certain features Shock

OP posts:
Otterses · 15/05/2019 16:48

@anxiouswaiting well done! That's you sorted for the year then Smile and a big 🖕🏻 to the DH too ... they'll see! We'll show them when we're sitting on our thousands of pounds ...

OP posts:
justtheonethen · 15/05/2019 18:01

@Otterses looks interesting! Do you know what the missing column means in the crisp dashboard?

Otterses · 15/05/2019 18:13

@justtheonethen absolutely no idea Grin I bet Crisp don't even know.
