@bluemums
I was recommended bonus bagging by a friend who has made over £20K apparently.

I signed up for a week for £1 and then another £27. For that you got up to 3 emails a day (but only when you asked for them so you could go at your own pace) detailing exactly what to do with all the welcome offers from the bookies. I found it helpful because I didnt have to think about it. I just did as I was told

You just have access to the basic calculator with that but dont really use it. After about 5 or 6 weeks I got a message saying that I had worked my way through bonus bagging and giving me an option to sig up to the next level for £97 as a one off fee. I had already made more than this so decided to go for it. On this you get training videos and the odds matching software.

I am finding that the facebook page for this level is going a bit over my head and I am taking it slowly. I also got onto the team profit facebook page which seems to be linked to odds monkey, there are some good information sheets that people post but some of them are behind the odds monkey paywall. I think that is about £17.99 a month.
I am picking it up slowly and can ask questions on either facebook page when I get a bit lost.

And yes, it was worth it . I had thought about MB for a long time and having instructions to follow gave me the confidence to try.

alilstressed · 03/04/2019 05:46

I did my first MB yesterday. Still getting my head around it but looking forward to learning more.
I've joined odds monkey for a trial period and working my way through the offers.
Any newbie tips? I've only signed up to Betfair so far, is it worth signing up to another exchange?

DonkeyScramble · 03/04/2019 13:10

Betfair is nicer to look at but you get 0% commission with smarkets if you're an oddsmonkey subscriber.

fishandchops · 03/04/2019 14:51

Does anyone have an easy way of keeping track of bets. I am using a note book but it's getting confusing to look at

Golden0ldie · 03/04/2019 17:42

@fishandchips Oddsmonkey have a profit tracker, think Team Profit do too as well as Profit Accumulator. Me? I’m on my second notbeook. Everything gets written down but I also set up my own spreadsheet which is pretty basic but keeps a good track on everything - notebook is my scribble it down back up so I can check back easily and see what I did (when it goes wrong!).

Mecca Bingo have bob back. I missed it last time but have signed up now so might ask some questions re how it all works.

Also, has anyone experienced backed the entire field in the National with ew bets and no lay? Last year? If so, womdering whether it was profitable for you?

BlockRockinBeats · 04/04/2019 09:38

Hi

Has anyone had any problems with Royal Panda? I placed a £20 to het a free £20 bet under the welcome offer. WB has settled but my free bet is not showing. Tried to go online to contact live chat about it but the website will not open. Tried all yesterday and it is the same this morning.

Please can someone on this thread take a look at the Royal Panda website and see if it will load for them. That would be really helpful.

Also, Royal Panda have asked for loads of ID. They are quibbling over my proof of address letter saying the photo is not high enough resolution. I told them my driving licence shows my address. It still has not been resolved. I guess I need to find another letter and take a better photo.

Very frustrated with them. Is it just me? Any advice? Thank you.

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/04/2019 11:28

I can’t get rp to load either, you’ll have to battle on with the Id stuff.

TheGigglingGazelle · 04/04/2019 13:51

I'm interested to know this too!

Gammeldragz · 04/04/2019 14:57

I can't get Royal Panda to load either. Have you checked their social media pages to see if they have any updates? Also they are known for being difficult about ID.

Fairyliz · 04/04/2019 16:32

Had a good day on the first day of the Aintree Festival.

For those of you to still have an account Bet365 have a great offer for the grand national.

thefavourite · 04/04/2019 18:05

Yes I've had a good day too. £25 up on various lock-ins and underlays and still a few free spins etc to do.

Menarefrommarsitwouldseem · 04/04/2019 19:04

Bet365 have place £250 of bets bet £125 back

I would have a go but don't think I have enough in my bank. Plus I really don't understand horses yet.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 04/04/2019 20:04

I’ve got the bet365 offer which I’m really surprised by as they’ve taken my access away from the offers section, although I haven’t had a grubbing email so think I maybe on some kind of watch/warning list?! So I’m wondering how to play it. I don’t think I’ll take full amount and not take all the value. Maybe half. I’m also thinking of just laying the win but not the place, but I’ll think about that one.

NettleTea · 04/04/2019 20:15

Im gubbed by Bet365. I was really upset about that. Im gubbed by most of the big ones, sadly and as a result have lost my mojo recently, plus not having a lot of free time. Im a couple of hundred shy of £10K though, in 13 months, so happy, but need to get some more signups going and get my head down as to where to go now, due to all the gubbings

fishandchops · 04/04/2019 20:16

Which bookies would you carry on doing mug bets with as I've signed up to quite a few now and am wary of getting gubbed.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 04/04/2019 20:41

The accounts you don’t want to get gubbed on are bet365, Skybet, William hill, coral. I’d do my best to keep those accounts in good health.

Anyone seen any other Aintree offers?

Fairyliz · 04/04/2019 20:53

ThroughThickAndThin01
Betway have a risk free bet on the first ITV race each day up to £10.

Just remember this is the first race on tv not the first race of the day, think its the 14.20 tomorrow. It does say at the top of the race list.

YesQueen · 04/04/2019 21:13

I'm doing the betway one every day and then planning to do the 365 offer

Golden0ldie · 04/04/2019 22:36

ThroughThickandThin ... have you seen these offers:

Skybet - cash refund if second in first race.
Unibet - fb up to max £20 if horse wins, all ITV races bt only one fb daily so stop when you hit a winner. Use win bonus calculator to lock in a few pounds.
SportPesa - similar to Unibet but bonus capped at £10. It’s on their promo page.
Will Hill - happy hour price boosts 12-1pm daily.
Paddy had a get free bet up to £10 if x wins so trigger bet calc.
Lots of second to sp fav offers.

I’ve had a good day with just over £40 in and a fb on SportPesa tomorrow. Hit the Skybet cash refund in the first which was great.placed a bet with Unibet fir the first not realising until too late that it wasn’t televised - luckily my bet lost at the bookie so I had my little profit rather than an exchange loss. Then I did another Unibet £20 bet - or so I thought! I only had £10 on but laid fir a £20 bet. Luckily I didn’t pick a winner so ended up making a neat £12 profit. And a couple of nice boosts from WH.

Have spent an hour pouring over the 365 offer and trying to figure out what the liability will be. Oddsmonkey forum says ql should be £25-50 but at tonight’s odds, the ql on lowest odds horses x 5 is around £58 plus. Hoping that will drop tomorrow night or early Saturday.

Am still thinking about a £1 ew bet on each horse spread across maybe 10 bookies, no lay. Need to do my maths on worst case scenario. Any sage words?

itsabongthing · 05/04/2019 12:25

How many horses are running?
I might do that but only for the top 10 then surely worse case scenario would be you’re down £20.

Golden0ldie · 05/04/2019 13:38

Itsabongthing, there are 40 runners. Eek £20 is a big loss. I keep trying to input the runners and prices in OM dutching spreadsheets but either can’t alter the stake or the place odds. Grr. Will do my own spreadsheet if I can be bothered, just basic but wouldn’t accept a worse case loss of more than a couple of pounds.

thefavourite · 05/04/2019 19:35

I've had a bonkers real life day today I had about 3 minutes to eat my lunch this afternoon, bunged a few e/w bets on the 13:45 at Aintree as Skybet were paying 6 places and one of my horses came in 5th place, yay! £36 profit from that and also won a small profit of £4 from Sky Vegas £10 Friday evening wagering. I also placed the free bet on an Aintree race tomorrow with a decent match to make £4+ profit and few very small other bits and pieces. £50 up today so far, I also have the SH/Liv match 2-0/3-0 underlayed at PP so nearly £9 profit if I win that bet at bookie tonight.

I am looking forward to sorting out the Bet365 offer late tonight or tomorrow morning and seeing if I can get some good matches/maximum profit!

I hope everyone is having a good Aintree! @Golden0ldie, I'd be interested to know how you get on with your £1 plans. If quite like to do this too if it's worthwhile.

Locked in £104 profit from B365 offer, yahoo!

OP posts:
itsabongthing · 05/04/2019 23:04

Yes I’m not going to do that after all as I must stick to being risk free.

All set to bet & lay my 5 horses for the bet365 offer, planning to do it mid morning tomorrow to minimise the chance of non runners.

Think I’m going to go for the 5 with the smallest loss, but only within the top 10 as after that the liability gets too big for what I’ve got to play with. Should clear at least £65-70 and hopefully one of them will come in 5th which would bump it up.

Massively steep learning curve last couple of days but feel fairly confident now with the OM each way calculator.

Golden0ldie · 05/04/2019 23:25

Holy smoke Favourite, how did you manage that and what’s your liability?

BTW, not doing the whole field. Would need to pretty much guarantee at least 2/3 longer odds horses to place in order to make a profit.

Off to look at odds before bed!
