The continuing crusade to expose the underhand tactics used to lure (mainly) women into exploitative schemes using the lure of 'financial independence'.

I do chuckle when I see the long-suffering husbands of bots "renovating" their homes with budget tools, off the shelf materials and cutting corners using stuff like expanding foam rather than employing a professional!

Don't get me wrong I'm not knocking DIYers at all. What I am saying is that if you're raking in that much money why do a cheap botch job?! Employ a carpenter, builder, whatever! Someone who isn't going to butcher your home.

There was a hilarious clip on Roomie's page a while ago where in the background her husband appeared to be using a saw to saw off small lumps of plaster/filler from a wall! A saw FFS!!

No wonder they filter their photos. Can you imagine what these DIY jobs look like close-up?!

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 09/03/2019 16:11

On the other hand you've got Uber who is marrying her builder so no botch DIY jobs there!

Spongebobette · 09/03/2019 17:38

Oh no, apparently Yawn’s daughter wants to ‘follow in her footsteps’ (FFS she’s making it all about herself again, can’t even let her daughter have the spotlight on her birthday)

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 09/03/2019 17:49

Exactly what I thought Spongebobette ..... it's all ME, ME, ME .

Spongebobette · 09/03/2019 17:51

Really hope the poor kid doesn’t believe she needn’t bother with exams etc because she can be a model or walk into a lucrative business like her mum (used to) have.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 09/03/2019 18:08

Not much danger of it being FLP- by the time she is of age to join, Forever Living will only exist in the demented ramblings of superannuated bots.
"I used to be somebody, you^^ know!", as the nurse nods indulgently and administers the sedatives...

"I used to be somebody, you know! But I can't remember who ... Nurse! Nurse! Those false teeth in the glass of water next to the glass with those eyebrows aren't mine, are they? Can't remember why mine fell out. Something to do with floorhide and aloo viera or whatever it is I used to decorate the dog with. Teeth ... aye, those were the days ... I remember when I could pay for an all expenses paid holiday with no cheque at all to see a show in that country, you know the one I mean, nurse ... oh, Colonel Trumper or someone like that used to be in charge until that fat little man with the funny hair wiped it off the map with one of his rockets. And I still had enough change for fish and chips and the bus home in time for my curfew."

Nurse: "Yes dear. Try to get some sleep now. You've got a big day tomorrow with Queen Meghan's visit. What a woman. She's coming all this way to open the new toilet block for people who only identify as women for two hours on alternate Fridays during Lent."

Wig has been told she looks exactly like her FB photos in person, apparently.

So now we know she looks like a Cindy doll that has been left on a hot radiator for too long.

What, she has bunny ears and sparkles all round her face in real life???

Is Lifecoaching part of this? I have a friend who has recently become a Lifecoach and her spiel on FB is very similar to MLM marketing but I can't work out how you would make money from being a Lifecoach in an MLM model.

fromdownwest · 10/03/2019 17:14

Ironic that a well educated bot is calling out people who don’t recognise white privilege or toxic masculinity.

Says the woman who ‘plays’ for a living with obvious affluence and privilege behind her to be able to do so.

BSintolerant · 10/03/2019 17:16

Do you know which Lifecoaching company she's signed up with? There was one which I posted about on another thread. The organisers are embroiled in legal proceedings in the US. Can't remember the name though. They were recruiting people to train as coaches and their coaching consisted of how to recruit people to train as coaches etc - classic pyramid scheme. I guess they got away with it for so long claiming that the "product" was the training.

fromdownwest · 10/03/2019 18:07

From what I can see - a lot of them use life coaching as a front to the MLM they are pushing. They realise that peolyare becoming wise to the pitfalls of MLM’s. So they call them selves buseiness coaches, and then introduce their snake oil as the solution to your problems

YouokHun · 10/03/2019 18:22

@BSIntolerant that wasn’t the now defunct Volo was it? Styled itself ‘the spiritual MLM’ - now folded with lots of unpaid affiliates. @EmmaGrundyForPM ‘lifecoaching’ is often the next stage on from discovering that you can’t make money from products in MLM and that tricking people to sign up is constant hard work. Better to trick them with Law of Attraction bollocks and ’mindset’ bullying to convince them to keep trying to make MLM work for them buy pouring in more cash, all the while delivering the message that when it (inevitably) goes wrong it’s their fault and perhaps they should sign up for further ‘coaching’. These people are the worst because they already know MLM can’t be sustained.

HamishTheTalkingCactus · 10/03/2019 18:46

The big red flag is when it's life coaching for people to become 6 and/or 7 figure earners.

EmmaGrundyForPM · 10/03/2019 18:59

Thanks for the responses. I dont think shes ever been involved in a MLM scheme and as far as I can see she's just asking people if they want some life coaching but shes also made some comments about working for herself etc which remind me of MLM stuff.

JasperRising · 10/03/2019 19:01

An aloe business in a box and inspirational training from a bot flown in from Britain. Yup that's definitely going to give the women of Saudi Arabia much needed freedom.... Hmm Worst of it is I can just imagine FL spinning it as exactly that - your own business, a little bit of independence, a good thing. And some probably will do well out of it - there will be people who can afford the prices after all - but it still isn't a business model that works for the majority.

BSintolerant · 10/03/2019 19:27

Jasper I'm stunned that Islamic countries allow MLM schemes especially as so many people lose money, get into debt and those at the top of the pyramid use lies and half-truths to fleece those at the bottom. Getting into debt is a criminal offence in most, if not all Middle Eastern countries: debtors who can't afford to pay their debts end up in prison. Also, making money through dodgy means is considered haram under Islamic teaching - dealing with dirty money has consequences. Surely hell is hot enough as it is without the threat of damnation without relief in a red hot bot spot. Ooh my aloe gelly will cure your burns hun!

The fact that Forever Fibbing has a certificate stating that the products are halal surely cannot apply to a business structure which is inherently unethical, and encourages bots to tell porkies, get into debt and scam money out of people who don't always have money to spend in the hope of financial gains regardless of the costs.

JasperRising · 10/03/2019 20:45

BS I have a horrible feeling that the British bots probably don't even think that the implications of getting into debt may be different in other countries. It is a similar lack of awareness to the bot fromdownwest referred to - they just don't seem to register (or admit) that their privileges allow them to make choices that others cannot afford to make.

BSintolerant · 10/03/2019 21:04

Jasper, you're right. I doubt they care about bots getting into debt at all - especially in countries where the consequences are very serious.

Whiterangey · 11/03/2019 07:14

All they care about is themselves. They don't care how many lives are ruined as long as they are getting paid. They look into the eyes of vulnerable women and tell them they can get rich while knowing that's a lie. Once they have rinsed every last penny out of them they drop them like a stone.

They don't care about anyone but themselves. Look what Bloodsucker has and is doing in Africa.

They make me feel sick.

BangingOn · 11/03/2019 09:05

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry over Yawn’s post about her daughter, the stuffed tiger and the Law of Attraction. It’s as farcical as it sounds.
