The continuing crusade to expose the underhand tactics used to lure (mainly) women into exploitative schemes using the lure of 'financial independence'.

@OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny My friend that does FL has done the same thing - quiet for ages then suddenly today has popped up with it again. Maybe they have had a prod of the bots?

*waves at everyone, I usually only lurk here.

cozietoesie · 06/03/2019 19:14

Waves at cycle. Smile

Welcome.

Spongebobette · 06/03/2019 20:30

Anyone else marvel at the cognitive dissonance of Forever Living bots who post constantly about how they and their offspring drink aloe gel every single day because it boosts the immune system, improves gut health etc?
Followed by posts about how their child has yet another tummy bug/ cold/ virus and aren’t they lucky to be able to stay at home with them?
Just me?

cozietoesie · 07/03/2019 00:12

No. Not just you.

notsurewhatshappening · 07/03/2019 08:57

It's pretty warped and manipulative that's for sure.

notsurewhatshappening · 07/03/2019 10:30

Mlm lies exposed on fb has posted about a Body shop at home bot. Let's call her body bot. Apparently she is turning over 3 million a year. I think not...?

Whiterangey · 07/03/2019 14:59

If she is VERY high up that could be how much get and her team are making for Body Shop at home.

Though it's probably just bollocks.

9dartfinish2nd · 07/03/2019 15:11

A Companies House check could blow that theory out of the water. Smile

notsurewhatshappening · 07/03/2019 15:23

She's the number 1 in the UK. Can't share her name here

Whiterangey · 07/03/2019 19:26

Companies house results for her were very interesting.

I didn't see 3 million there funnily enough.

notsurewhatshappening · 07/03/2019 20:07

Ooh thanks for investigating Whiterangey !

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 07/03/2019 22:04

"With my help you can achieve anything you can dream of & no one can take it away from you"

...do you know what we dream of Yawn?
We dream of people not being ripped off by MLMs. We dream of an MLM free world.
And you're right, no one will take it away from us!

spanfan · 07/03/2019 22:27

Right, I try to keep on MLM topics here... But castlebot...

It's all a bit weird. They're celebrating castlekid's birthday early. Because they fly home on the bday.

Firstly, I thought business (which this trip is " really for) shouldn't affect family life... So why did they even book flights for the bday???

Secondly, it all feels like a sales pitch. Even on the opening presents bids she talks about how they use facetime "when they travel all the time... " Except they don't really... It's all ultra-bollocks.😂😂

Castlekid is a commodity in the business. All these holidays and no other kids to share it with. I bet castlekid would be just as happy running round a playground at school or nursery. ☹️

spanfan · 07/03/2019 22:28

And properly celebrating birthdays early ( not just for family gathering or parties), is that a thing it feels very odd to me.

BangingOn · 08/03/2019 06:56

Castle asking people where they’d like to live in the US- I’m not sure FL will get her a green card.

Meanwhile, Iron Bot is sure that Agatha Christie would have loved the Girl Gang Confused

fromdownwest · 08/03/2019 09:44

The whole Florida trip has been a paradox. Taking my son away for a trip of a lifetime spend time on an expensive course pushing nothing but other expensive courses.

So lucky to have flexibility of how and when we work, books flight on sons birthday.

The whole present opening looked like peacocking (call me a cynic) - look how much money I can spend.

Finally - I have a good job with good income - but I have quiet times, and the last thing I’d do was spend all that money. I’d be putting it into my business account to pay my tax bill and mortgage!!

Or are they making loads of money?!!

Liciaflorrick · 08/03/2019 11:03

I am a newbie and just discovered you. I was following someone recently - US based who claims to be a presidential diamond of It Works and is making more than 1 million dollars per year and regularly posts pics of her massive house with her kids with private school uniform and huge car, trips to Disney. Is this real? It so looks it I cant work how she can pretend to this level? Just curious. Are It Works MLM people especially devious? I am quite a cynical person but it is very convincing...

9dartfinish2nd · 08/03/2019 12:51

@Liciaflorrick Firstly Welcome!!

It is entirely possible that she could be one of the 1% at the top of the company. If you have an organisation that has 500,000 distributors worldwide then you are looking at about 5000 people who will be making very good money from those distributors in the downline below them.

From what I see in this industry 1% make big money, after that a handful of people might make enough to cover a salaried job and the rest .........are doomed to failure due to the nature of the business model of MLM's

YouokHun · 08/03/2019 18:44

Just popping on Huns to express my irritation at the hijacking of International Women’s Day 2019 but various upline who whilst ‘celebrating women and empowerment’ are at the same time throwing women under a bus for their own gain. Bloodsucker and Yawn keen on IWD19 as a means of self promotion and corporate-wise Avon is busy aligning itself to IWD19 (who only days ago were telling women not to consider themselves valid human beings if they had dimply thighs).

Spongebobette · 08/03/2019 19:14

There is no cause, hashtag, campaign or event that cannot be exploited by MLM bots.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 08/03/2019 19:37

Even more galling watching the likes of Messiah and Broke jumping on the bandwagon...

OP posts:
Liciaflorrick · 08/03/2019 20:08

@9dartfinish2nd Thanks! she seems to constantly say she is in the top 1% so perhaps she is one of the few..but she is constantly posting about her 'boss babes' team bonuses $10k here $10k there. Just wondered if it was different in the US and MLM actually worked!

BSintolerant · 09/03/2019 09:26

Liciaflorrick if you google Merchants of Deception you'll find a PDF of a book written by an American bot who got out of Amway alive - despite the death threats. It's a classic tale of how MLMs manipulate people with their lies and brainwashing. They all operate the same way.

spanfan · 09/03/2019 15:28

I'm not sure Yawn got IWD. 😂😂😂

She's praising her husband.

😂😂😂😂😂

UnapologeticallyUnhinged · 09/03/2019 15:30

Yawn is having a birthday party in her shed and she's stuck one of her aloe shite banners up.

Classy.

If she's making SOOOO much money, why is her husband doing all the graft with his nail gun?!
