Anyone up for an earn £10 a day challenge this year?

I was wondering if anyone would like to join me truth be told I really need the support!

Having DS has reduced my savings, and ability to save now that I'm paying for childcare. So my aim this year is to make £3650, or £10 a day which sounds far less terrifying.

I just thought this would be a great idea to share ideas for earning extra money and cheering each other on. Way better than just staring at a spreadsheet.

Soooooo here it goes.

On a different note - I'm seriously considering taking up comping 😂 even though the best thing I ever won was a pack of free nappies...

I'm thinking entering to win less desirable prizes, then selling them on might be more achievable then winning £10,000.

Anyone else do this?

I also need to clear an area a day really - lots to sell/get rid of before we move. I'm going to wipe my old laptop and see what I can get for it this evening with music magpie and the like.

@ChakiraChakra I've emailed them! My positive theory is that everyone saw the MSE thread over the weekend and now they've got so many people buying £1 shares they don't know where to start

My uncle has been entering competitions as a hobby for forever. He's won some decent stuff over the years - tv/satellite/video recorder(!) & free sky for a year combi, a few holidays, days at the races or concerts. When I was a child and poorly sick he won a voucher to spend in the local card shop, and I still have the fluffy bunny he let me choose. ❤

I do it occasionally - have won tickets to a big show at Olympia (worth approx £80 and on the day we were upgraded too!), magazine subscriptions, products, and phenomenally things I've forgotten. My advice would be too disk it if you enjoy it in and of itself in a hobby, and go for things like local newspaper competitions as you're right there are less people entering the small ones. Be wary of anything you have to pay to enter, although paying for a stamp can be beneficial as people who bother to enter by post are dwindling.

Re MB - I have done it and I've made about £400+ but haven't got the time atm to really get organized for it .

I've had one of my prolific surveys confirmed, most seem to happen within a couple of days but I'm still waiting for one from 14th Jan.

I guess maybe I should jump on board with this trading212 thing in case they pull it. Seems to be the consensus is it's legit? And maybe today will be the day I finally knuckle down to matched betting!

In other news I found 20p in the street which I'm totally counting, and some kind soul has used my shoppix referral code so that should be some points for me and some for them. I was going to count surveys as I did them but if any of them don't get paid that'll mess with my totals so maybe easier to wait until the cash is in my hand! I had some free spins yesterday and came out £9.53 up which I've cashed out so counting that.

Otterses I've toyed with comping on and off, hope you have some success with it. I won some haircare stuff once, think that's it!

@Otterses I do comping but find you need to enter about 100/150 a day to win anything.

I also do product testing, it's much better imo and last year I tested easily over £1000 worth of products. You could always sell them after testing.

Well I've done two cashback offers for bingo sign ups. If the cashback tracks, and with my winnings, I'll make £24.55 profit, but we'll wait and see if everything tracks I guess.

Namechanged I did Mecca Bingo and Tombola via Topcashback. With Mecca I did what I could remember from the oddsmonkey guide to bingo offers (used to be a member), the Tombola one was the first one I did and I wasn't thinking really but got lucky with a win.
