Anyone up for an earn £10 a day challenge this year?

I was wondering if anyone would like to join me truth be told I really need the support!

Having DS has reduced my savings, and ability to save now that I'm paying for childcare. So my aim this year is to make £3650, or £10 a day which sounds far less terrifying.

I just thought this would be a great idea to share ideas for earning extra money and cheering each other on. Way better than just staring at a spreadsheet.

Soooooo here it goes.

Day One - £33.37/3650

£22.87 matched betting, and £10.61 Leapforce.

£10 for me on WUD and £1.25 on Prolific which is not living up to its name!

Profilic is still a bit quiet for me too at the minute.

@Mummabear2212 I'm actually quite scared because I have a lot of crap to sell before we move. I may need to get used to Gumtree weirdos.

I've made another 3.80 on prolific today and i joined something from ohmydosh. Deposited £10 for some free spins and managed to win 18 pound on them. And still had my 10 deposit. So a good couple of days. :)

@Otterses so far he hasn't been too bad. A bit grumpy and temperature but if the 8-16 week ones are anything to go by, tomorrow will be hard. Hope your LO feels better soon. It's so hard seeing them miserable isn't it?

I’ll be on the bandwagon shortly! Not yet as my phone screen is cracked and PC has packed in so getting a new one next week (not a good start to the year!)

I have a couple of questions about Leapforce and Lionbridge - are they worth doing if I’m not on social media? I don’t have any, but my dp has twitter. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind me using his aslong as it doesn’t post anything to his page?

@boringlyboring a lot of the easier projects do need you to have social media (and a certain number of friends for some reason). I'm not sure using your DP's will work - as it won't be in your name and they may think you're using a random persons page! It may be worth setting up an Instagram, follow about 50 accounts and generate a few followers of your own. Same with Facebook. Just so you can apply for ad rating projects.

And no  it won't post anything. It's just how you access the ads rating tool.

Can anyone recommend any other good survey sites? I’m on Prolific but not getting much on there

@CarolSpatula I'm the same, sitting here twiddling my thumbs as am getting almost nothing on prolific and had nothing yet from Appen.

Got the money making bug so off to find more things to eBay. Dreading when the listings end though as will have to lug it all to the post office!

Jumping on for ideas, albeit not likely to put themnibto.practice just yet as have some family stuff going on.

I di really well on Prolific until I filled in my profile.

I also have noticed that since I have been near the cash out minimum with Populus Live I haven't had any surveys.

margaritas They are good points. I've filled in all my profile and the surveys have dried up on PA. I'm also near the cash out sum too.

I've just gone through and deleted all my about you stuff from prolific, hopefully that will help! I've had 7 surveys since this time last week which is rubbish

I've definitely noticed prolific surveys have dried up. Let us know if deleting the about you works @misstiggiwinkle

I've just had a study on PA but I'll be very interested to see if deleting profile info has an effect. I suspect the times I'm logging in (has been evenings only last few days) has understandably been an issue but we'll see what happens the next few days when I'm not restricted to evenings only.

Having a slow day apart from the study, submitted two receipts to shoppix but that's it! The weather is miserable though so no excuse really not to hole up and get back into matched betting. I might have a look at some of the other survey type sites you all have mentioned, and see whether any of those appeal.

Does anyone sell photos on there? I uploaded them but don't know much about it at all

I've got some photos on Shutterstock too. Only 12 i think and been there since beginning of this year. No luck yet but i think you need to have thousands!

I’ve signed up for Ohmydosh! I did the amazon free trial one but I haven’t had a confirmation email ☹️ anyone else had this? I don’t think I can get the offer without it

I deleted my about me bits in Prolific and I had 2 surveys come on within a few hours which is more than I had all week

I've just missed out on another two as it says they are full up. I'm checking every few minutes so you have to be really quick!

I’ve got 3 boxes of DVDs to go through and sell, that should bring in a few bob but I can’t face going through them one by one 🤦‍♀️

I'm on Qmee (qm.ee/28838AAC) for surveys which always seem to have a lot. The pay is not great though.
