Spongebobette · 31/10/2018 20:40

This is the 44th thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, Valentus, TS Life, and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs
Over 90% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

I see Broke has signed up to Cocko’s newish coffee MLM. He swore he’d never bother with network marketing again.

So unlike a bot to do a 180 volte face on something!

cozietoesie · 03/12/2018 12:46

Sooooooo unlike......... 😀

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 03/12/2018 12:46

Thought it best to delete it as I'd hate for anyone to think that as it's on this thread that the company must be MLM related!

cozietoesie · 03/12/2018 12:47

🙂

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 03/12/2018 12:54

Anyway, back to the matter in hand ....... if Yawn isn't working in December why is she " far too busy to be poorly"?

Surely you'd have all the time in the world to be ill if you weren't working??

JasperRising · 03/12/2018 12:56

Asking on social media who has bought a C9 off you in the past may help with engagement and reselling. I also makes you look like you have crap customer record keeping which is far from professional business ownership.

IlikebigbotsandIcannotlie · 03/12/2018 12:59

Is everyone playing “the elephant in the room” on roomie’s new fb profile? She’s posted the pic of the newspaper article on her profile and getting a lot of “amazing hun” type comments.

BUT WHY IS NOBODY ASKING WHY THEY CANT BUY IT ON AMAZON?

Ladiva1971 · 03/12/2018 13:03

Is that the Sinergy coffee Arbunnehun?

ArbunneHun · 03/12/2018 13:13

It certainly is @Ladiva. It seems to be the coffe scam du jour!

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 03/12/2018 13:18

Maybe they have asked IlikebigbotsandIcannotlie but, like a true bot, she's deleted the post to control the situation and portray only what she wants to portray ie. that she's No.1 best selling author

(after all she was trained by the master of controlling your image on social media, the one who didn't like the "yawn" comment so not only deleted it but tried to get the poor woman sacked FFS)

foreverastri2 · 03/12/2018 14:01

so have i got this right? i don't know bots name so ill refer to fl person as nh..... has her "company gone into liqudation?" i don't understand how they get in so much debt?! is it thought trying to promote an ideal lifestyle for social media..... this actually a little scary and i had no idea how dangerous being in a mlm could be! i have a friend who is doing youuniqueand seems to bedoing really well, this may not be the case them!?

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 03/12/2018 14:37

It almost certainly won't be the case foreverastri2.

Your friend will have been told to "fake it til she makes it". It's attraction marketing....if she posts about how well she's doing, her latest expensive purchases, holidays booked etc it will because she's been told that if she exaggerates/lies and makes everything look amazing then others will want the same lifestyle and sign up with her thinking that they too can achieve it.

The reality is it's all a con. She will be paying out more and more each month for the latest products, testers for customers, stalls at Xmas fayres etc and losing money.

cozietoesie · 03/12/2018 14:58

Do you actually know her financial position, astri ?? 🙂

foreverastri2 · 03/12/2018 15:06

have no idea cozietoes, but she has had the youunique symbol tattoed on her! ohmygod i never did the stalls, actually i found it hard to do a lot of the things they ask of you, im still pretty fresh out of flp, they make it all look so glamorous with the glossy brouchures with the happy healthy families your buying a dream! thing is with me im not a materialistic person im much more likely to post of my thrifty finds then anything expensive!

cozietoesie · 03/12/2018 15:06

Plus promotional materials etc etc, Kenny.

9dartfinish2nd · 03/12/2018 16:04

If a bot had to pay back a significant 5 figure directors loan would this be a normal thing to do or is it a sign that they are curently or have had in the past real difficulity with balancing the books?

cozietoesie · 03/12/2018 16:17

I guess you'd need to look at the reason for the loan. 🙂

foreverastri2 · 03/12/2018 17:00

actually been having a nose on companies house! that makes some shocking reading! i feel a bit of a t!t buying into it!

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 03/12/2018 17:02

Not your fault astri. They brainwash people.

cozietoesie · 03/12/2018 17:41

Absolutely not your fault, astri. They're trained to .........inveigle.

One thing I was wondering in relation to the chairman’s bonus cheques, they are in US dollars, so does the money actually come from the American parent company, and would this create a US tax liability for the British based bots?

Also, in relation to the companies house records for these companies, please remember they are not audited accounts, as they are usually below the audit threshold.

Spongebobette · 03/12/2018 19:47

Ah thanks Dora

The directors loan is fairly common in a owner manager limited company. It usually allows you to take your money and then you vote a dividend (on which you pay tax) to wipe it out.
I doubt they’d have a US tax charge as they’re UK resident and the money was earned in the UK. However the US does have weird laws in relation to double taxation
