Spongebobette · 31/10/2018 20:40

This is the 44th thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, Valentus, TS Life, and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs
Over 90% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

So strange as he hasn't been on the cheque leaderboard ever.
Methinks they have changed the goal posts for a diamond manager

cozietoesie · 17/11/2018 15:20

I love the way that you all take his presence as gospel. 🙂

Hi, is there room in here for a chat about gifting circles? It's not even a mlm, it's a straight up scam. My friend cornered me (drunk) last night and told me all about this amazing women empowerment scheme she's signed up for. I'm so worried about her - how do I say not a chance in hell while still being here for her as a friend... impossible?

byronicheroine · 17/11/2018 15:45

She's already in deep, by the way, despite it being only a few weeks. Apparently it's all about trust Hmm

Spongebobette · 17/11/2018 16:45

OMG that's a total Ponzi scheme isn't it???

I think so Sad (I was pretty drunk) I've just spent the afternoon googling and then found this thread. Shit. What do I do? She's "gifted" 5000 USD, and has turned into some kind of mantra bot. She asked me if I was 'open'. I'm not.

Teddy1970 · 17/11/2018 17:49

Is Castle still active in FL?

notsurewhatshappening · 17/11/2018 18:13

Does anyone know what BBL's company is worth?

Sunshineandshowers81 · 17/11/2018 18:26

Looking at her most recent filed accounts her income has dropped dramatically this last year

byronicheroine · 17/11/2018 19:23

That's interesting, thanks @BSintolerant (great name)
I will talk to her husband about it, she's borrowed money on a credit card to buy in. It's awful. I'm not sure whether to report it somewhere. I'm looking into it now

BSintolerant · 17/11/2018 19:35

Can you report it to Action Fraud? Isn't it awful?

Spongebobette · 17/11/2018 21:16

Oh that’s appalling.

Oh no - have we got a return of that awful 'women empowering women' about 20 years ago when £3k was being invested and it all toppled

Norma27 · 18/11/2018 08:47

The family of my then boyfriend tried to get me involved with that women empowering women pyramid scam. They were quite arsey when I wouldn't as I could see it for what it was.

Norma27 · 18/11/2018 08:49

Actually, I knew uber well at the time of women empowering women. That could have been a great scam for her too (as far as I know she was never involved in that tho!).

IdiotsIdiotsEverywhere · 18/11/2018 09:22

Hehe just had a quick scroll on Yawns FB. A picture from the gym on 16th November about dragging her arse around gym. Does she realise she is being photo-bombed by an arse too?! I see two arses in that pic, for the record!

A FL bot has stuck a load of business cards onto advertising posters in the ladies at the M6 Soithbound services in Stafford. She’s offering £400 a month. Have had to operate complete self control and not leave herva review on her page laughing at that’s what she reduced to to recruit. She’s a “trainee manager”, whatever that is?

Well done bot, you are now on my radar!

user1484830599 · 18/11/2018 11:24

@paddy1234 it was women empowering women that targeted me in 1999! They booked the conference venue I was running at the time and were desperate to sign me up. They genuinely couldn't understand why I didn't want to give them my 3k and couldn't see my problem with their pyramid at all!

Paddy1234 · 18/11/2018 11:33

Thanks for the detailed explanation Dora - much appreciated

Paddy1234 · 18/11/2018 11:39

The office I was working in at the time - everyone was targeted at different times but luckily there was two of us completely sceptical and dissuaded the others.

A really close friend of mine admitted o me recently that she made a mint out of it - before I knew her. I have to say that I now treat her with differently knowing this.

Mielabel · 18/11/2018 12:16

Confused about Lanzabot. She doesn't publicise FLP much at all any more (although claims she's still in it and working hard) yet seems to be living a super lifestyle and going to tropical meetings with Richard Branson of all people and other famous internet 'entrepreneurs'. I know she did fairly well at FLP until the decline but this is quite high-end stuff, surely, that is too much for the likes of an FLP bot? I have a feeling all her money comes from something else entirely, but she doesn't publicise it on social media and makes out it's mostly FLP and a holiday rental villa on the side.

Just like with Yawn's hubby keeping his family afloat by going back to work while Yawn carries on as if they are both living the dream lifestyle together thanks to FLP.

Curious
