MLM Bot Watch 41 - Forever Living charity giving, are MLMers using charities to increase their CC's while making it look like they are being charitable?

Are charities being used by MLMer's to gain CC's, gain new leads, and get rid of stock?

Here is an example of a top Forever Living Business Owner in the UK taking advantage of a charity.

It may look like she is doing something good for the charity but she isn't. The charity will be getting 20% of profits. The business owner, the current UK number 2 in Forever Living, who recently picked up a $420,000 cheque at the Forever Living global rally in Dallas is just getting her Case Credits (CC's) up, and hoping to get new leads to sign up under her.

For everything that she sold Forever Living will have taking the biggest cut, then the business owners upline will have taken a cut, and then the business owner herself. Her profit will be very small and then she was only going to give away to the charity 20% of that. It could be as little as £10, probably a lot less, despite the members of the group spending hundreds of pounds with her. I hope she had the decency to at least add to it. For a 'charity night' where someone who has received multi-million dollars in cheques, and received $420k two months ago you'd expect at least 3 figures to be donated. 20% of her profits from that night will have been ridiculously small.

The charity will be getting even less as you can see she is running special offers which will come out of her profit, reducing the amount available to the charity even more.

As you can see in one of the screenshots someone in the local area of the charity attempted to warn the charity that the business owners motives may not be as charitable as it seems and the business owner wants to take the discussion away from public view, and then deleted the reply instead of giving a reply to show that the poster was wrong. She can't show the poster is wrong as the poster is right so instead chose to make it all go away.

The screenshot of a slide is one used by someone in the business owners downline, who correctly refers to the charity night as 'a launch' which is what it was, it wasn't for charity, it was for the business owner to sell her products and hopefully get some new recruits to her business.

The same business owner last year set up a justgiving page for donations to make up 'Positive Packs' to give to those suffering with breast cancer.

"The cost is 20 pounds which is non profit making and the pack value is worth far more. This will fund a Positive Pack containing Forever Toothgel, Aloe lips, Ever Shield Deodorant, fast break bar and some woolly socks and to every pack I will personally add a heat lotion, an aloe gelly and a herbal blossom tea sachet and an aloe to go."

So the donations will be used by the business owner to buy the items through her own account where she will make a profit from receiving a percentage of what is spent. She will also receive case credits from that. The case credits she received from sending out these Positive Packs will have gone towards her getting the $420k cheque in Dallas in April. So non-profit is not true as the business owner will be profiting in two ways.

The items can also be bought for a LOT less elsewhere, a tube of toothpaste can cost £1 from a supermarket, a stick of deodorant the same. I also wouldn't call toothpaste and deodorant something that anyone pampers themselves with, they are necessities.

The business owner will have used Forever Living products in the bags despite the recipients getting a lot less, and no luxury items, because she benefited herself from doing so. She also would have been able to, and did, use the Positive Packs to advertise Forever Living Products, and at least some of them were given out at a big presentation where the business owner would have been able to present her business opportunity there, some of whom are very vulnerable.

In 1983 Rexys entire plantation of aloe Vera was destroyed. However, this did not stop him making lots of money.
Proof if ever that fl is not about the shite product they ‘sell’.

Spongebobette · 03/08/2018 17:11

The product is only there to get bots to part with large sums of money

Lots of newbie bots are buying the whole range of ‘gelly’ skincare, no doubt encouraged by their upline so they can ‘test’ it and do reviews on their FB

Bet it costs a LOT. And THEY are the customer.

Yawn was at a launch recently where the poor invitees were trying out products.... the bot holding the party had to buy all that stuff just to demo it.

cozietoesie · 03/08/2018 18:15

= Lots of guilt spread around = lots of 'sales'.

Spongebobette · 03/08/2018 18:20

yes, those launch parties end up with a few sales because the new bot has invited friends and they feel they must support her by buying something

then the new bot feels encouraged that they have an actual business -encouraged by their upline who love bombs them publically 'she is smashing her new business! Watch this one, big plans in place!'

then the new bot (encouraged by upline) 'follows up' with her party invitees to try to get them to sign up under her.

sigh

I was just going to comment about going out in gym kit.. I am flipping disgusting after a workout. But my gym has showers so I'm able to change after a workout.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 03/08/2018 21:28

One would presume that if you were a member of the David Lloyd gym then that would have showers and there would be no need to go anywhere in sweaty gym gear.

If you were attending a conference in gym gear I would guess:

a. you haven't exercised at all but are just wearing the gym gear to imply that you have

b. you have been to a gym that doesn't have showers (or have just exercised in the park/street)

c. it's all part of your big fat lie "lifestyle" that you portray on social media

Norma27 · 03/08/2018 21:31

Amazing how her face is always made up too.
I absolutely can’t imagine being stinky and sweaty with showers available. Yet swerving the showers and putting make up on.
Wouldn’t be like a bot to tell porkie pies now though would it. That is totally unimaginable!

BSintolerant · 03/08/2018 23:29

Yawn tell porkies? Never. I don't belieeeeeve it!

Earlier in the week she announced on FB that she was going to buy a set of Forever Fibbing skincare and showed a photo of the various tubes of face gunk for all to see. Today she claimed that she had received a gift from Forever which just goes to show what a wonderful company it is. The 'gift' in question? Yes, you've guessed it: the aloe gunk she said she was going to buy a couple of days ago.

Come on Yawn, if Forever was so bloody marvellous you'd have got a cheque in Dallas.

Do you smell Booooolsheeeeeet?

#Foreverfibbing

Sparkle Bot (Poonique) is messing with my mind as she’s one of the few top Bots who isn’t tacky, showy or posting atrociously punctuated statuses. Not a false lash or a white Range Rover in sight, yet the same tactics as everyone else- shouts out to her ‘ones to watch’ downline (a deputy head teacher is in favour at the moment), looking for people to ‘trial products’ (love it or your pennies back), constant references to her ‘little business’ but all so beautifully styled, glossy and genuinely aspirational. I could so easily be taken in by her.

BethanyBarleywater · 04/08/2018 17:21

BrokeBot's ex's latest post is amazing and probably says it all.

Happypuppy · 04/08/2018 17:40

The ex in Stoke?

Spongebobette · 04/08/2018 18:35

oh yes I just had a look, her post is about all the many many network marketing scams she has dragged her downline into, making money off them before moving on to the Next Big Thing and doing it all over again

(I have paraphrased her post)

Bluebell148 · 04/08/2018 20:42

I was taken in by a work colleague when my baby was 4 weeks old in 2015 and signed up to forever. Literally within the first few days I wa suspicious of things and felt deflated. Seeing my uplines posts in team pages asking for advice on a prospect which was clearly me made me realise how fake the whole thing is.

Anyway I did genuinely like some products and just used the account to buy for myself a couple of times since then. Just checked on the price of the new skincare set the bots are peddling...£57!!! Plus delivery !

Spongebobette · 04/08/2018 20:59

Wow that was a bit of a slip by your upline!

Whiterangey · 04/08/2018 21:43

Broke's ex was trying to sell the items she is giving away in a competition a few weeks back, looks like she had not takers.

I think she is now Broke's broke ex.

Someone just pointed out about PHD Bot (don't care what letters she has after her name but I bet her IQ is not as high as she would have us believe). Plus the I'm shy and hate public speaking but I went to drama school. I was so poor - woe is me ...

So when Kate Spade died she did an impassioned live about being authentic and making sure what you portray to the world is 'in alignment' with who you are and how you really feel.

Couple of week's later she's doing a coaching session / mindset training saying - don't be authentic to the woman you are now - be authentic and 'in alignment' with the business woman you are growing to be. Fake it until you make it!.

Dangerous!

Her other message is how hard you have to work and the hours you need to put in.

Whilst I doubt the 6 figure income - it is possible she gets 100 people to regularly sign up for a £10 or £20 online session and that could be a real money spinner.

So Wig’n’Sleaze must have so far scammed others out of at least €25,000 to get their trip and new ranking. I give this scheme until October.

Tw1nsetAndPearls · 05/08/2018 08:36

Could somebody tell me who broke'a ex is?

fitgirl26 · 05/08/2018 11:27

So Wig 'n' Sleaze claim to be earning £21,000 per week. I'll just leave that there for you to laugh at.

Norma27 · 05/08/2018 15:26

Wig and sleaze are just absolute con artists. I really hope they eventually feel the full force of the law.

Sean1984 · 05/08/2018 16:24

21k a week, lol, “pull the other one it has bells”, as the saying goes!!! Cant believe there are people asking for more information!!! Of course, as usual, its a “PM you hun”! Again, if i was making 21k a week i wouldnt be sharing it with strangers all over facebok! But of course they arent ,are they, its such utter shit, looking for gullible people to hand them money!surly these people are breaking some kind of financial regulations, ill must try and read up on it,.. but bitcoin et alia, prob remains largely unregulated

SSDGM · 05/08/2018 17:45

You did notice there’s no £/€/$/¥ sign there? Could be 3k grains of salt for all we know.

I’m still not taking financial advice from a woman in her 40s who sticks her tongue out on photos and uses an animal Instagram filter. 😐

BangingOn · 05/08/2018 21:57

Bloody hell, Uber looks like she’s about to the be garrotted by her own necklace in that Venture-sequence photo she’s posted.

cozietoesie · 05/08/2018 22:14

I'm hoping that Toobusy is drowning in info down there. Smile
