MLM Bot Watch 41 - Forever Living charity giving, are MLMers using charities to increase their CC's while making it look like they are being charitable?

Are charities being used by MLMer's to gain CC's, gain new leads, and get rid of stock?

Here is an example of a top Forever Living Business Owner in the UK taking advantage of a charity.

It may look like she is doing something good for the charity but she isn't. The charity will be getting 20% of profits. The business owner, the current UK number 2 in Forever Living, who recently picked up a $420,000 cheque at the Forever Living global rally in Dallas is just getting her Case Credits (CC's) up, and hoping to get new leads to sign up under her.

For everything that she sold Forever Living will have taking the biggest cut, then the business owners upline will have taken a cut, and then the business owner herself. Her profit will be very small and then she was only going to give away to the charity 20% of that. It could be as little as £10, probably a lot less, despite the members of the group spending hundreds of pounds with her. I hope she had the decency to at least add to it. For a 'charity night' where someone who has received multi-million dollars in cheques, and received $420k two months ago you'd expect at least 3 figures to be donated. 20% of her profits from that night will have been ridiculously small.

The charity will be getting even less as you can see she is running special offers which will come out of her profit, reducing the amount available to the charity even more.

As you can see in one of the screenshots someone in the local area of the charity attempted to warn the charity that the business owners motives may not be as charitable as it seems and the business owner wants to take the discussion away from public view, and then deleted the reply instead of giving a reply to show that the poster was wrong. She can't show the poster is wrong as the poster is right so instead chose to make it all go away.

The screenshot of a slide is one used by someone in the business owners downline, who correctly refers to the charity night as 'a launch' which is what it was, it wasn't for charity, it was for the business owner to sell her products and hopefully get some new recruits to her business.

The same business owner last year set up a justgiving page for donations to make up 'Positive Packs' to give to those suffering with breast cancer.

"The cost is 20 pounds which is non profit making and the pack value is worth far more. This will fund a Positive Pack containing Forever Toothgel, Aloe lips, Ever Shield Deodorant, fast break bar and some woolly socks and to every pack I will personally add a heat lotion, an aloe gelly and a herbal blossom tea sachet and an aloe to go."

So the donations will be used by the business owner to buy the items through her own account where she will make a profit from receiving a percentage of what is spent. She will also receive case credits from that. The case credits she received from sending out these Positive Packs will have gone towards her getting the $420k cheque in Dallas in April. So non-profit is not true as the business owner will be profiting in two ways.

The items can also be bought for a LOT less elsewhere, a tube of toothpaste can cost £1 from a supermarket, a stick of deodorant the same. I also wouldn't call toothpaste and deodorant something that anyone pampers themselves with, they are necessities.

The business owner will have used Forever Living products in the bags despite the recipients getting a lot less, and no luxury items, because she benefited herself from doing so. She also would have been able to, and did, use the Positive Packs to advertise Forever Living Products, and at least some of them were given out at a big presentation where the business owner would have been able to present her business opportunity there, some of whom are very vulnerable.

perryperry who has posted the photos?. I find it hard to believe that new parents would choose not to live together.

PerryPerryThePlatypus · 02/08/2018 12:55

They were posted a couple of months ago on Messiahs page. Now I'm not saying they won't be living together, not saying that at all.

Norma27 · 02/08/2018 14:37

Yawn’s very first live. Proof that 5 yrs of c9 does the opposite of what it claims.

rainbowfudgee · 02/08/2018 15:39

I follow a Juice Plus bot on FB. She appeared on a popular wedding programme on TV. Checked out her company's accounts online and she appears to be doing well...anyone know the truth?

Norma27 · 02/08/2018 16:06

Yawn you always talk about how forever saved you from losing your house and the massive debt you were in (deja vu eh?!).
In your first live tho apparently you were just earning pocket money for extras you could enjoy.
Which is it?

Norma27 · 02/08/2018 16:10

I’ve watched a bit more and yawn does mention debt later on. Not to the extent she goes on about forever changing that now.
How does it feel to be in that position again but now being a complete charlatan trying to con others out of money and put them into debt?

rainbowfudgee · 02/08/2018 16:24

Norma please could you message me who Yawn is? Thanks

Maranello4 · 02/08/2018 17:19

rainbow fudge If you scroll back through this thread you can work it out. Yawn is a regular social media poster and recently said 'Back to work tomorrow, after a fabulous 2 week holiday'

I have a Juicebot in my fb group who is also a lash artist, am guessing that juice plus is a supplement to her income....

Whiterangey · 02/08/2018 18:37

Yawn's debt then, if she actually had any, is not comparable to the debt she will end up in now.

We are talking big numbers, 6 figures. She bought a house she could only afford if she carried on earning the same amount, or more that she was earning when she bought it.

She believed she was untouchable, at the top of her game and that nothing could go wrong as long as she kept on doing the same things, most of which are morally dubious.

Unfortunately she didn't factor in maths, and that the amount of people in the UK is finite and she'd just run out of people to recruit.

She's shit on people to reach the top and now she's on the way down and people who have been shit upon remember it.

She's depressed, and she is trying desperately to cling on to 'the dream', unfortunately 'the dream' was built by hurting other people, which is never a good thing to do, and now it's all crashing down around her ears while she tries to pretend on facebook that everything is absolutely fine.

Even worse, all of those people in the photos with her smiling when she was successful won't be anywhere to be seen.

She will lose her house, the cars, everything, and be left heavily in debt.

The sucky thing is that the kids will suffer and that isn't fair and is upsetting. I'd love to feel smug, but you can't, because of the kids. Younger kids are more resilient, but the older they get the harder it is for them to cope with a sudden lifestyle change, which is what is going to happen.

Yawn is a good example of why even those at the top don't always win. Her lies are getting more and more outrageous, posting a snap of her in a video with a clean chest and then claiming a few hours later that it's covered in a 'rash', when the rash must have happened a while before that to give it a chance to heal. The rash being sunburn.

How are trading standards not all over this?! Thinking about this from an employment law/ recruitment/ bullying and a selling perspective. The whole thing is vile and shoddy.

Whiterangey · 02/08/2018 19:21

That is the problem, it's technically legal.

As long as there is a product and it's not all about recruitment, they can continue.

Is an MLM about the product or recruitment?

We'd answer that one way, which would be the truth, but those caught up in them and those who own the MLM would answer it in a different way.

Nice little nugget there @PerryPerry... if they are claiming benefits, they won’t be the only Bots that do so. Contrary to the image of infinite cyber riches they like to portray, rumour has it that our beloved #PowerCouple are claiming JSA.

ArbunneHun · 02/08/2018 23:33

Most MLM’s are pyramid schemes with a superficial veneer of product sales to keep them just inside the law. The big issue is that most of the sales (90% ish) are within the pyramid - bots buying for themselves - and not outside - bots having a genuine retail business and sustainable customer base. Usually because the product is overpriced, tacky as hell and of mediocre quality.

fitgirl26 · 03/08/2018 07:13

So Wig has posted one of her garbled statuses - as a top "business woman" she should really get her stuff proof read by someone intelligent before she posts - and they are promoting a new Bot that will save the oceans, build ships, build homes with recycled plastic and create 15,000 jobs. Go Wig "n" Sleaze you selfless environmental warriors you.

PerryPerryThePlatypus · 03/08/2018 08:26

I know of several bots that are on benefits and really struggling. Their children really are the ones that suffer most. Now I know kids aren entitled to days out etc but when your very limited money is being ploughed into a big black hole of a pyramid scheme it makes me sad for them. I remember my days of poverty and always having to say no to my kids and how wretched it made me feel.

9dartfinish · 03/08/2018 10:11

I've seen bots posting about suffering from Anxiety/stress one day and the next day it's all "everything in the garden is rosy" mentality.

I've noticed one bot in particular who was a stage speaker at major conventions be reduced to not even attending most of them now and has had thier "biznizz" struck off the register at Companies House but still the Social Media posts continue promoting it.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 03/08/2018 10:34

I know what you mean about the anxiety posts one minute and everything is rosy the next. I think there are some very fragile bots out there and I'm pretty sure being involved in an MLM is not doing them much good.

Pretending to be something you're not and keeping up a false pretence on social media is not good for your mental health, not to mention being bullied by your upline and the constant struggle to recruit and meet your CCs.

There's one quite high up FL bot who has admitted to suffering from anxiety and depression, is clearly still struggling with a bereavement, has issues with her body and looks , confidence issues and just, overall, seems so fragile.

On the surface she appears to have it all - slim, beautiful, adoring husband, and daughter etc. She's forever posting little pearls of wisdom like "Learn to dance in the rain" that make you wonder who she is trying to convince, herself or others. Sad

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 03/08/2018 12:47

Surely if you've gone to a conference in your gym kit then you haven't worked very hard in the gym. Confused

When I've been to the gym I wouldn't wish myself on anyone or anything other than the shower!

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 03/08/2018 12:51

And while I'm at it ....surely if you're on such an amazing holiday and you're one of the lucky ones who's bagsied a cabana by booking it months in advance why the hell would you then spend your time working?

Whiterangey · 03/08/2018 13:45

Those on benefits are an easy target. Get off benefits, earn lots of money, have a mansion and a porsche, all from the comfort of your own home.

Putting women into poverty by recruiting them, how lovely is that?

OP posts:
Eddierussett · 03/08/2018 14:27

Putting women on benefits in to poverty by recruiting them whilst you have the benefit of husband's well paid job/well off parents supporting you... Those are the bots I dislike the most.

Norma27 · 03/08/2018 16:42

I always think that about yawn and her sweaty gym kit. I go running and oh my god do I smell afterwards! I wouldn’t go anywhere until I’d had a shower.
She also spoke about buying the new range of skin products fl are peddling a few days ago. Now it has arrived she is pretending it is a gift from them. Yeah right!!

Norma27 · 03/08/2018 16:44

And my hair does not look like that after I’ve been to the gym. Unless I’ve just sat in the cafe. Or unless I’m lying about paying David Lloyd fees!

Norma27 · 03/08/2018 16:45

You can’t see her hair in today’s pic but in others you can when she is in ‘meetings’ after ‘working out’!
