MLM Bot Watch 41 - Forever Living charity giving, are MLMers using charities to increase their CC's while making it look like they are being charitable?

Whiterangey · 27/06/2018 19:38

Are charities being used by MLMer's to gain CC's, gain new leads, and get rid of stock?

Here is an example of a top Forever Living Business Owner in the UK taking advantage of a charity.

It may look like she is doing something good for the charity but she isn't. The charity will be getting 20% of profits. The business owner, the current UK number 2 in Forever Living, who recently picked up a $420,000 cheque at the Forever Living global rally in Dallas is just getting her Case Credits (CC's) up, and hoping to get new leads to sign up under her.

For everything that she sold Forever Living will have taking the biggest cut, then the business owners upline will have taken a cut, and then the business owner herself. Her profit will be very small and then she was only going to give away to the charity 20% of that. It could be as little as £10, probably a lot less, despite the members of the group spending hundreds of pounds with her. I hope she had the decency to at least add to it. For a 'charity night' where someone who has received multi-million dollars in cheques, and received $420k two months ago you'd expect at least 3 figures to be donated. 20% of her profits from that night will have been ridiculously small.

The charity will be getting even less as you can see she is running special offers which will come out of her profit, reducing the amount available to the charity even more.

As you can see in one of the screenshots someone in the local area of the charity attempted to warn the charity that the business owners motives may not be as charitable as it seems and the business owner wants to take the discussion away from public view, and then deleted the reply instead of giving a reply to show that the poster was wrong. She can't show the poster is wrong as the poster is right so instead chose to make it all go away.

The screenshot of a slide is one used by someone in the business owners downline, who correctly refers to the charity night as 'a launch' which is what it was, it wasn't for charity, it was for the business owner to sell her products and hopefully get some new recruits to her business.

The same business owner last year set up a justgiving page for donations to make up 'Positive Packs' to give to those suffering with breast cancer.

"The cost is 20 pounds which is non profit making and the pack value is worth far more. This will fund a Positive Pack containing Forever Toothgel, Aloe lips, Ever Shield Deodorant, fast break bar and some woolly socks and to every pack I will personally add a heat lotion, an aloe gelly and a herbal blossom tea sachet and an aloe to go."

So the donations will be used by the business owner to buy the items through her own account where she will make a profit from receiving a percentage of what is spent. She will also receive case credits from that. The case credits she received from sending out these Positive Packs will have gone towards her getting the $420k cheque in Dallas in April. So non-profit is not true as the business owner will be profiting in two ways.

The items can also be bought for a LOT less elsewhere, a tube of toothpaste can cost £1 from a supermarket, a stick of deodorant the same. I also wouldn't call toothpaste and deodorant something that anyone pampers themselves with, they are necessities.

The business owner will have used Forever Living products in the bags despite the recipients getting a lot less, and no luxury items, because she benefited herself from doing so. She also would have been able to, and did, use the Positive Packs to advertise Forever Living Products, and at least some of them were given out at a big presentation where the business owner would have been able to present her business opportunity there, some of whom are very vulnerable.

Hmm wonder if the parents of these friends are clued up about MLMs and send a message back through their kids saying NO THANKS

ArbunneHun · 29/07/2018 19:26

Looking forward to the Mommy Dearest-type tell-all memoirs of the poor bot offspring. Imagine your early memories all being Success Days and Aloe Gelly.

Have we talked about Messiah's new coffee- C-raze?!
You'd have to be c-razy to buy it.

BangingOn · 29/07/2018 22:00

Have we talked about Messiah's new coffee- C-raze?!

I’d missed that. It does look, erm, interesting. As does his latest profile picture pose.

I’m seeing some posts on Instagram about ‘Enhanzz’ looks mlm to me as it’s on an ex fl bots insta story’s and it’s along the lines of ‘ you can’t achieve much on your own let’s do business in a team’ type vibe.

Looks like very slick marketing.... launching in 2 days. I wonder how May will get sucked into it?

spanfan · 30/07/2018 12:07

FL handsoap is £14.83 each.

Blimey. 😱😱

No wonder bots are broke spending that much.

cozietoesie · 30/07/2018 12:29

£14.83? For SOAP?

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 30/07/2018 12:36

Blimey what is it about bots documenting every little detail about their holiday as if they are the only person ever to have gone on holiday.

Photos of suitcase packing/in the car/at the airport/on the plane/on the beach/by the pool/eating/drinking....... FFS why bother going on holiday with your family when you're going to be constantly "touching your bizz", may as well stay at home and do it.

ArbunneHun · 30/07/2018 12:53

Eeeek hun! Enhanzz sounds amaze! But very very vague... keeping us hanging on until launch, on the very edge of our seats!

But it looks like extremely overpriced skincare/oils and a training platform. It’s SWISS though huns! Can’t argue with SWISS!

Whiterangey · 30/07/2018 13:14

People will be so jealous to see you going on holiday that they will want to join your biz.

Nobody goes on holiday unless they are in an MLM, everyone else just sits at home, crying.

Yawn isn't looking so good in her latest photo. Her marriage also isn't going so well. Look at the anniversary post, not one mention of how much she loves him, not one mention about how he is the father to her children. That post has all the warmth of a freezer. She's just listed a lot of things she thinks people want to hear.

They also only went away for only a week, not the two weeks that Yawn claims. Mr Yawn mentions they just spent a week away on his facebook. Oops!

Launch is 1.8.18 and yes we cannot argue with the Swiss!

A google search brings up the pre launch site. It’s going to change the world.

What worries me is that it is just so slick. Lots of jargon about social media platforms influencers ( barf) . So basically it looks like skin cream sales .... but with photos of trendy looking business types with cool spectacles and mountain backdrops it looks like a ticket to a dream life... scary stuff ....

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 30/07/2018 13:47

lol at Mr Yawn accidently showing her up to be a liar. They really should get their stories straight. Rookie error.

The truth will always come out though.

SerenSmith · 30/07/2018 14:35

Not sure if this has been mentioned but Peterborough small business awards has a category for Network marketing!

The nominees are forever living, younique etc. I have messaged them so if anyone wants to do so their page can be found on FB

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 30/07/2018 15:20

To be fair to Yawn (for once) she said she had two weeks off rather than two weeks away.

MLMsuperfan · 30/07/2018 15:29

Bradford bot's both furious and delighted that her upline has defected to Isegenix.

Orchardgreen · 30/07/2018 16:00

I can picture the scene; Mrs Bot and Mr Bot are having a row, flinging insults, then Mrs Bot realises she hasn’t taken a selfie for at least an hour for her bizniz, so suddenly they put on happy family faces.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 30/07/2018 16:08

dickiedavies

I would read this quote from her fb page as meaning 2 weeks away on holiday not just 2 weeks off work. Carefully worded for everyone else to think the same no doubt.

Back to work tomorrow, after a fabulous 2 week holiday

Whiterangey · 30/07/2018 16:30

Yawn would argue that she meant two weeks off work, but it's carefully worded so that people will think she had two week aways.

Normal people don't play word games on facebook, it's usually only those in network marketing.

It was quite obvious that she was away for just one week, with the stupid posts per day about nothing to do with what she was up to but to mask the fact that she wasn't at home. Wise to not let anyone know you are away, but in her case it's easy to see through as she usually posts exactly what she is doing along with lots of selfies.

She started posting her holiday photos when she was home, making it look like she was still away.

She also appears to have nasty sunburn. She is saying it's something from the spa, but it hasn't affected the folds in her neck which would be protected from the sun. You can see where bits in her neck have folds in her other holiday photos and it matches up. Not shocking considering she was using sun lotion that Forever don't sell anymore, so it may have been out of date, and the strongest one was only factor 30.

You'd expect a rash to be bumpy and all over

Either way i'd be taking that straight up the doctors.

There appears to be nothing in Messiah's coffee that isn't in the eleventy billion other MLM coffees in facebookland.

Why would I want to buy his coffee over the others?

It's almost as if it's not aimed at me but the victims who have signed up to sell his concoction.

The name sounds like a rapper name.

C-Raze is in da house.

I was joking, but I googled it, and there is actually a real group called C-Raze, which is rather amusing, they are German by the looks of it.

OP posts:
ArbunneHun · 30/07/2018 19:46

Imagine if C-Raze the band sue Messiah for copyright!

Whiterangey · 30/07/2018 19:56

Someone would need to tell them via their facebook page by giving them the link to the photo of the product on Messiah's facebook page and hope they understand english.

Seeing the photo of their band name staring at them from a pack of coffee on a facebook page probably means the language barrier isn't a problem though.

Tizzlebizzle · 30/07/2018 21:25

I'm guessing there were at least 4 people round each computer if Yawn's training was for 100 people since it had only been seen by 22 according to the screenshot she posted...

SSDGM · 30/07/2018 21:59

I’ve read that the TS Life stuff has been sourced from Acti-Labs. Except it’s more expensive and not the same strength. Lots of Vida bots loyal to The Messiah went to acti while they were waiting for the big launch, including the mother of his child. I’ll see if I can find the comparisons. Acti is the only MLM I know of that does mint choc shakes..

SSDGM · 31/07/2018 06:33

Here you go!

Also: just read DerbyBot is still claiming more than £7k pm earnings from Valentus. I didn’t realise they were still in business.

I've just spotted this from MrsStickman on a local town's noticeboard Facebook page.

Seems she's going to pay people to spam social media .... have I got that right?
