MLM Bot Watch 41 - Forever Living charity giving, are MLMers using charities to increase their CC's while making it look like they are being charitable?

Are charities being used by MLMer's to gain CC's, gain new leads, and get rid of stock?

Here is an example of a top Forever Living Business Owner in the UK taking advantage of a charity.

It may look like she is doing something good for the charity but she isn't. The charity will be getting 20% of profits. The business owner, the current UK number 2 in Forever Living, who recently picked up a $420,000 cheque at the Forever Living global rally in Dallas is just getting her Case Credits (CC's) up, and hoping to get new leads to sign up under her.

For everything that she sold Forever Living will have taking the biggest cut, then the business owners upline will have taken a cut, and then the business owner herself. Her profit will be very small and then she was only going to give away to the charity 20% of that. It could be as little as £10, probably a lot less, despite the members of the group spending hundreds of pounds with her. I hope she had the decency to at least add to it. For a 'charity night' where someone who has received multi-million dollars in cheques, and received $420k two months ago you'd expect at least 3 figures to be donated. 20% of her profits from that night will have been ridiculously small.

The charity will be getting even less as you can see she is running special offers which will come out of her profit, reducing the amount available to the charity even more.

As you can see in one of the screenshots someone in the local area of the charity attempted to warn the charity that the business owners motives may not be as charitable as it seems and the business owner wants to take the discussion away from public view, and then deleted the reply instead of giving a reply to show that the poster was wrong. She can't show the poster is wrong as the poster is right so instead chose to make it all go away.

The screenshot of a slide is one used by someone in the business owners downline, who correctly refers to the charity night as 'a launch' which is what it was, it wasn't for charity, it was for the business owner to sell her products and hopefully get some new recruits to her business.

The same business owner last year set up a justgiving page for donations to make up 'Positive Packs' to give to those suffering with breast cancer.

"The cost is 20 pounds which is non profit making and the pack value is worth far more. This will fund a Positive Pack containing Forever Toothgel, Aloe lips, Ever Shield Deodorant, fast break bar and some woolly socks and to every pack I will personally add a heat lotion, an aloe gelly and a herbal blossom tea sachet and an aloe to go."

So the donations will be used by the business owner to buy the items through her own account where she will make a profit from receiving a percentage of what is spent. She will also receive case credits from that. The case credits she received from sending out these Positive Packs will have gone towards her getting the $420k cheque in Dallas in April. So non-profit is not true as the business owner will be profiting in two ways.

The items can also be bought for a LOT less elsewhere, a tube of toothpaste can cost £1 from a supermarket, a stick of deodorant the same. I also wouldn't call toothpaste and deodorant something that anyone pampers themselves with, they are necessities.

The business owner will have used Forever Living products in the bags despite the recipients getting a lot less, and no luxury items, because she benefited herself from doing so. She also would have been able to, and did, use the Positive Packs to advertise Forever Living Products, and at least some of them were given out at a big presentation where the business owner would have been able to present her business opportunity there, some of whom are very vulnerable.

That is scary, especially the no visa, that could have ended up not so good.

I didn't know you need a visa for Cuba yet I could become an inteltravel agent and sell a holiday to Cuba.

The agent probably thought needing a visa means you can't use MasterCard in Cuba.

rainbow he did indeed.

How can you not know Cuba needs a visa? Its information available to anyone. SSGDM and I don’t even have no proper travel qualifications like what them Intel’s got (paid for).

CurlsandCurves · 25/07/2018 22:50

whiterangey apologies, that made my post sound very derogatory towards you. The only reason I know Cuba requires a visa is because I have been.

But then, if you’re a travel agent, and your client wants to go to Cuba, surely you would research Cuba? Or wherever it is they want to book?

Whiterangey · 26/07/2018 02:09

I am definitely not offended.

Speaking as someone who has organised flights all over the world In a previous job role. As part of my job I would call up a booking company we had a contract with and ask for flights. All information would be sent directly to the person who was taking the trip.

Which is basically what inteletravel bots do, just book flights or a hotel. My dog could do that and I don't own a dog.

Love Wig 'n' Sleaze claiming to protect people by warning about Bitcoin Ponzi scams while promoting a Bitcoin Ponzi scam 😂

ArbunneHun · 26/07/2018 09:58

If Messiah posts one more “Booom! We’re about to blow shizz up!!!!” status, I will scream. He has nothing other than empty hype.

ArbunneHun · 26/07/2018 10:22

One of the #VSister former ‘Diamonds’ who now earns her money from running a ‘coaching academy’ (one with an ANNOYING ‘-preneurs’ suffix) is about to self-publish a book. She’s boasting that she wrote it in 3 days. Like that’s a good thing/indication of quality.

In MLM mindset training world, clearly the faster you write the book, the higher the quality of the contents.

SSDGM · 26/07/2018 10:25

Under ABTA regulation an agent is obligated to advise a customer what visas could be applicable alongside encouraging the customer to look at the home office website to familiarise themselves with any known threats or unrest. Actually getting the visa is the customer’s responsibility. Fair enough, right?

As Inteletravel aren’t regulated by ABTA they don’t have to do a damn thing. They use the customer’s bank cards to essentially book direct for both airlines and hotels.

I’ve heard they now have a car hire company on board. However, that company was sued for $2.2m last year over non payment and in the meantime was instantly de-racked by many legitimate consortia in favour of a rival due to potential collapse. I can see why they are trying to get any partners they can.
Car hire selling requires a LOT of training or else misinformed clients will end up with charges for hundreds in unnecessary insurance upgrades in resort, not having the right bank card as security and getting no car or being refused due to points on their license etc.

Wig n' Sleaze have just announced that they're now helping African people. What's the bet that the African countries they're targeting are the poorest? It makes me feel bilious.

fitgirl26 · 26/07/2018 18:50

@ArbunneHun - personally I'd be wary of taking business advice from anyone who appears to wear a permanent snapchat filter.

ArbunneHun · 26/07/2018 19:48

LOL @fitgirl26! There are some huns that I have genuinely never seen unfiltered. I could walk past them in the street & not recognise them as I only ever see them with bear ears/cartoon specs/anime eyes/fake freckles!

Tizzlebizzle · 26/07/2018 21:25

Fewer fucks surely? Well hopefully grammar will forgive Yawn for wronging it as she has forgiven those who wrong against her Wink

ArbunneHun · 26/07/2018 21:28

Yawn’s Bestie is promoting a PPI claims management company. Why?? Why do that unless you are getting a kick back??

People: if you love your friends, tell them to use a free PPI tool. The Which? one is really good - does the same thing as a claims management company, takes 2 minutes, and you get to keep every single penny in compensation.

Norma27 · 26/07/2018 22:09

My husband has claimed ppi back his myself twice. Both times just phoned up the companies and told them as he was self employed it was missold to him. Altogether he has had £12,000 back and kept every penny.

Whiterangey · 27/07/2018 03:08

I'm terribly sorry but you are seriously mistaken. BFF cannot be promoting anything she may benefit from. She is making 6 figures through Forever so there is no need for her to seek an additional income source.

It looks like Yawn, Mr Yawn and the Yawnlings went to Crete for a whole two days. I wonder how many times she'll trot this out as a dream holiday in the coming months?

Orchardgreen · 27/07/2018 10:51

Yawn was with Bestie today or yesterday at a spa. The huns really need to agree on their stories.

moose23ishungry · 27/07/2018 11:12

And yet again, an over-privileged and well-educated FL bot remembering another time she had to call on her parents for money for an essential item (this time, air con for her hotel room in Greece). And now she's grateful to not have to watch every penny (lady, you never watched a penny if you called on your parents to fund your holidays)! Is she for real?

Spongebobette · 27/07/2018 11:20

My god does she have no self awareness??

Spongebobette · 27/07/2018 11:21

I am confused as to the whereabouts of Yawn and Bestie. Someone is being less than accurate.

Eddierussett · 27/07/2018 11:59

I saw that moose. She does like to harp on about how she felt back when she was broke. I assume she's trying to build up a rapport, make out that she knows what it is like to have no money left etc except her stories just reveals that she has no idea what it is like to truly be broke (hint: you wouldn't be on holiday!) with no family to rescue you.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 27/07/2018 12:12

Neither Yawn nor Uber appear to have been anywhere near the spa they were tagged in. It's all very odd.

Tupperwarelid · 27/07/2018 12:41

I thought Yawn was on holiday but then saw a post yesterday of her in the Thatch garden with her new garden furniture. Confused.com

BSintolerant · 27/07/2018 16:40

Yawn's in Crete is she? Will she attempt to recruit the Minotaur as an homage to the mythological bull that Forever Living generates?

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 27/07/2018 17:17

Yawn reckons she's been off work for 2 weeks. Yeah right. She's still been posting, recruiting etc.

As for how long they've been away ....in the past she's often posted about her holiday AFTER the event (presumably not wise to boast about being away when you've posted constant pics of your worldly possessions and crap from Home Sense ) but her son's school only broke up Weds.
