MLM Bot Watch 40 - Forever Living is 40! Yet still 99% of people in all MLM's lose money

Not making money with Forever Living?

Not making money with any MLM?

How to make money with Forever Living?
How to make money with MLM?

Maybe this report done for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) by Jon M. Taylor, MBA, Ph.D., of the Consumer Awareness Institute may have the reason why.

www.ftc.gov/sites/default/files/documents/public_comments/trade-regulation-rule-disclosure-requirements-and-prohibitions-concerning-business-opportunities-ftc.r511993-00008%C2%A0/00008-57281.pdf

When someone urges you to join an MLM in their downline with tales of the riches you can earn, all they are trying to do is use you to earn themselves more money. They know the stats, they know you won't make money and you will lose money, and friends.

They will lovebomb you, be your best friend, be all over you and then drop you like a stone.

Look at the person who is your uplines facebook. See how the people who were tagged in her statuses a year ago the same way you are tagged now are doing. Are they still with the company? Many won't be. Those who are will still not be doing well, exactly the same as a year ago, or two years ago.

If you are in Forever living, check facebook for the global rally cheques of your upline, notice how they have been going down year on year? The market reached saturation point in 2015, it's downhill since then and things will get worse, not better.

Most MLM's in the UK are at the same point, we are not a huge country and MLM's have reached saturation point.

Uber is tagged in something that appears on her facebook.

There were 120 business owners at company headquarters, part of it was a fundraiser. Uber spoke at the event although I believe that may not have been in person but over the interwebs. I think they may have been in Ireland.

They raised £500 for a hospice, which is a type of charity that always gets people opening their purses.

So 120 business owners, each of them earning a fortune, obviously, and there was £500 donated. That is the equivalent of each of them donating £4.16 each.

£500 is a great amount, but we are talking about people who boast about how they can afford fancy homes, cars, holidays and are 6 figure earners, and they donated £4.16 each.

Twenty that would make sense. She posted something recently about if she could retire she would ‘world school’ the kids.

White that’s terrible when you break it down like that.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 23/06/2018 19:24

Surely all top bots could have retired years ago, but are only carrying on out of a charitable urge to try and make as many as possible of us benefit from the amaaaaayzing opportunity?

TrippleFlappyDiamondSparrow · 23/06/2018 19:26

Sorry to go off current topics a little here, and I will be very careful how I word this to not try to cause offence as this would never ever be my intention. If this does offend anyone please make me aware and I will request this is removed, but it is something that I've wondered for a while.

On my Facebook I seem to have a lot of women of Asian descent very VERY involved in MLM's. Especially crypto ponzi's. When going through their profiles and just having a general browse it is very apparent that a lot of their friends and family are also involved, also new MLM companies seem to be very popular - TSlife keeps cropping up.

I've noticed in a lot of posts that their is little selling and literally just hard recruitment tactics - more intense than the usual bot shite you see. It seems to be completley notched up another gear. The flash Mercedes posts are forever being posted for example. The love bombing also seems very strong.

Everything just seems so much worse and way more over the top. It really makes me angry. We sit and talk about the likes of yawn, uber etc.. but never what some of these ladies are doing, yet on the face of it it seems so much worse.

Anyway, just an observation and I wondered if it was a problem with certain communities. If you go on certain facebook groups that are Anti MLM it becomes known a LOT of military wives are involved on MLM.

I'd be interested to hear others opinions and observations.

Spongebobette · 23/06/2018 19:43

I don’t think that’s offensive at all. MLMs and Ponzis rely on personal recommendation, and extended families are a breeding ground. Asian families must be ideal for this.
I’m not sure about military families but I assume that there are lots of connections between wives as they move around and, again, that’s a large network to exploit

Whiterangey · 23/06/2018 20:00

Military wives are especially vulnerable as they may be far away from friends and family and might not be able to work, what better than starting up your own 'business'. Lularoe was especially popular with military wives.

OP posts:
Kathysclown · 23/06/2018 21:13

My only exposure to MLMs has been via military spouses - US ones.

At one time I was surrounded by Lularoe, Juice Plus, some sort of bracelet one; jam berry, Thirty-one (bags), Thrive, Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Beauty Counter, and Rodan and Fields.

All with a strong religious focus, almost evangelical zest for promotion and success being a gift from God.

I think that it is a 'business' that they can take with them as they move around, and is a way for making friends and connections in new places.

The only one that I hear about now is Rodan and Fields. All. The. Time.

Our dear friend CAM was concerned about migrant workers in the UAE getting sucked into these wretched MLM schemes. These poor people are often employed in menial, low paid jobs and send a lot of the money they earn back home. It's easy to see why they'd find MLM schemes attractive.

It's disturbing because getting into debt in certain Middle Eastern countries is a criminal offence and people who fall foul of the law can end up in prison.

Kathysclown · 24/06/2018 08:46

I agree BS - having lived in the Middle East, I saw a lot of the immigrant workers ( as well as the Navy wives I mentioned above) seem to get into FL in particular, posting their 'free' sample hampers on the buying/selling FB pages. I didn't understand as much about MLMs then, so it didn't occur to me that these women were getting into debt in order to get these items in the first place, and how they would be lining the pockets of others further upline.

dadandmum · 24/06/2018 09:30

Just so people understand, the First steps to management booklet was uploaded to one of the top bots group personal website, its not a FLP site.

BSintolerant · 24/06/2018 11:17

The shill who posted the First Steps to Manager document is clearly rattled enough to have subsequently password protected it after we dissected its vile suckering-in techniques on this thread.

At least it's still online elsewhere and not password protected. Grin

Twentytwentyhindsight · 24/06/2018 12:14

As I said, I have hard copies to peruse at leisure, as well as electronic copies that could end up posted anywhere.

I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

Norma27 · 24/06/2018 15:14

My nuskin bot is proud they are listed as one of the top direct selling companies. I’ve just pointed out every pyramid scheme is listed in there so nothing to be proud off. Wonder if I will get blocked now?

Norma27 · 24/06/2018 16:33

It’s not a pyramid scheme cos they are illegal apparentlyHmm.
Think I need to play mlm bingo with her!

Whiterangey · 24/06/2018 17:10

I'm wondering what Wig and Sleaze are going to do if Bitcoin falls to next to nothing.

On her facebook Wig has some images of what she has earned from the latest Crypto Ponzi. At just after 10am yesterday an image showed that she had 0.958 Bitcoin together with an image showing that is worth $5844. Now that same amount is worth $5573 and dropping.

She is also talking about how now is the time to buy bitcoin because it's going to grow for the rest of the year.

This is why she never makes any money and is heavily in debt and court judgments. Bitcoin may raise in price, it might drop to almost nothing, there is no way of knowing. She says it will because she really needs it to, doesn't mean it will.

She has also dragged her daughter into MLM's, FM World to be exact.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 24/06/2018 17:28

Quite apart from the fact that her 'bitcoin holdings' are only images on a screen that she has been told represent what she owns...

If she or the other mugs try to 'realise' their investment, they'll 'realise' that the cash they put in is what's funded the founders' Cuba trip...

It's not crypto, it's a Ponzi built on the mystique of crypto currency. Just like MLMs are Ponzis built on the fallacy of a 'game-changing' product.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 24/06/2018 17:30

By the time these schemes 'close to new investors', the founders have already run with the money.

Whiterangey · 24/06/2018 17:48

Exactly, numbers on a screen, that Bitcoin doesn't exist, well it does, in the founders bitcoin account.

As far as I can tell from what i've read Bitcoin is likely going to crash even worse than it already has. It was made as a currency and it hasn't been used as such. The general public aren't interested, well some were and that pushed the price up to almost $20k, but now everyone has lost interest because you can't do much with it apart from try and buy low and sell high. Most of the general public bought high and likely sold low to try and recoup some of their losses.

You can't use it as a currency for almost everything, with very few exceptions. It's possible it could end up being worthless, or not, nobody can tell because it doesn't really have any real world value as a currency.

It would be devastating for the founders of the many crypto Ponzi's who have all their stolen wealth in Bitcoin, to have what was many millions in Bitcoin suddenly drop to bugger all. I think that is why i'm so desperate to see it crash as all of those founders who stole lots of money from people would end up with something worthless.

Could castle actually document anything else about her Disney trip?

BangingOn · 24/06/2018 20:54

Bowel movement perhaps?

I’m really enjoying all of these examples of witty repartee between Messiah and Our Lady. I don’t know how they have time to change the world with a new MLM when they must be laughing constantly.

YouOKHun · 24/06/2018 20:57

Whiterangey your mention of Hospices reminds me of a ‘charity’ event organised by an FLP bot at a hospice. About 10-15 workers from local (legit) businesses where asked by the bot to do a sponsored slim using C9 which she sold each of them. For each lb they lost she donated a £ and they lost 50lbs between them. The hospice was grateful to receive £50 but how much did the bot receive?

Whiterangey · 24/06/2018 21:19

@YouOKHun That makes me feel sick. So the people who bought the C9's would have paid out over £100 each, so that is £1000. The bot would have received a percentage of that which i'm guessing was worth more than £50, plus may have gotten a signup or 3 when they lost between 10 and 20lbs on the C9.

The hospice got £50. If the bot had just donated £50 out of the goodness of her heart that is a lot of money. She didn't and she is a bitch. I don't care if she is a victim, she is still a bitch, in normal people there is something that would stop them using a hospice to earn themselves money.
