MLM Bot Watch 40 - Forever Living is 40! Yet still 99% of people in all MLM's lose money

Not making money with Forever Living?

Not making money with any MLM?

How to make money with Forever Living?
How to make money with MLM?

Maybe this report done for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) by Jon M. Taylor, MBA, Ph.D., of the Consumer Awareness Institute may have the reason why.

www.ftc.gov/sites/default/files/documents/public_comments/trade-regulation-rule-disclosure-requirements-and-prohibitions-concerning-business-opportunities-ftc.r511993-00008%C2%A0/00008-57281.pdf

When someone urges you to join an MLM in their downline with tales of the riches you can earn, all they are trying to do is use you to earn themselves more money. They know the stats, they know you won't make money and you will lose money, and friends.

They will lovebomb you, be your best friend, be all over you and then drop you like a stone.

Look at the person who is your uplines facebook. See how the people who were tagged in her statuses a year ago the same way you are tagged now are doing. Are they still with the company? Many won't be. Those who are will still not be doing well, exactly the same as a year ago, or two years ago.

If you are in Forever living, check facebook for the global rally cheques of your upline, notice how they have been going down year on year? The market reached saturation point in 2015, it's downhill since then and things will get worse, not better.

Most MLM's in the UK are at the same point, we are not a huge country and MLM's have reached saturation point.

@BethanyBarleywater She appears to be selling waist trainers. Cheap corsets which you wear under your clothes to make it look like you've got a thinner waist.

It kind of makes it look like you are leaning up against a fence and your boobs are hanging over the fence, it's very a bit weird.

I've often wondered how awful it must be for the long-suffering partners of bots (although twenty has given us an insight).

Those partners who get dragged in front of the camera and have to put on the rictus grin for the obligatory happy family selfies, put up with the endless live videos etc, what do they really think.

Watch Roomie's latest live video and hazard a guess at what her DH is thinking as she films yet another live whilst they're about to embark on their first caravan towing outing. From what I've heard about friends who have dabbled with caravans it can be fast-track to divorce at the best of times let alone if your partner is filming a live video taking the piss a tad.

Why does every inch of their lives have to be documented?!

Whiterangey · 22/06/2018 20:48

@Twentytwentyhindsight When a Ponzi does receive a lot of money and some people have lost tens of thousands there is usually nobody to pin the blame on, they disappear, and now most new Ponzi's are crypto based it's all in Bitcoin so accounts can't be frozen.

Sometimes, in the case of Traffic Monsoon they can get in the quick enough to freeze accounts and hold back the money to eventually give victims at least some of it back, they also go after Net Winners, those who made more than they put in, I believe that Salon comes under that bracket with regards to Traffic Monsoon.

Of course the person who ran Traffic Monsoon has been arrested in America for the aggravated sexual abuse of a child so who knows when the Traffic Monsoon case will go through the courts and victims will receive anything. When it is all resolved they will at least receive a small amount though.

With the latest Ponzi's they won't get a thing most likely

@OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny - That's excruciating to watch. Knowing that it's going to be broadcast for the purpose of boosting her following makes it all the more cringeworthy.

As for my experience, while I couldn't do much about the the financial, Law of Attraction brainwashing or pure snake oil-ery of the products, I was very firm very early on that our kids would not be featured on any open FB page, regardless of the 'business advice' she was given.

I guess that made me a negferret jealous hater that wanted her to fail from quite early on...

My bad.

Whiterangey · 22/06/2018 21:01

@Twentytwentyhindsight Is your partner still active? Has she noticed the downturn in business or mentioned anything about the global rally and the noticeable reduction in UK cheque amounts this year? If she has what is her justification for it?

Not including Yawn. I've been keeping this to myself but I feel it is now time to share, Yawn didn't receive a cheque this year, nothing at all, no cheque for Yawn. I haven't seen it mentioned here so it's obvious nobody else but me noticed.

I must have the wrong bot!

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 22/06/2018 21:39

@Twentytwentyhindsight I wish more partners were like you and put their foot down regarding children featuring on bots open fb pages. It's just not fair to have the ins and outs of their lives plastered on fb for everyone to see.

I just find it strange that they post all sorts of identifying details (children's names, the schools they go to, the sports and clubs they attend) plus really personal stuff (for example if they're struggling with friendships). All this on open fb pages where they get all sorts of unsolicited attention, propositions and cockshots.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 22/06/2018 21:41

*that is the bots get all the unsolicited attention, propositions etc

ArbunneHun · 22/06/2018 22:32

With Privilege, the directors claimed that they had been contacted by the FCA who told them to cease and desist as they were selling a regulated product. This is despite all their claims that the scheme was registered with HMRC and totally above board. The notice from the directors also claimed that they were working with the regulator to resolve the issues and would be in touch as soon as it was all sorted.

I’m assuming they sent that note from their luxury villa in the Bahamas whilst sipping champagne and laughing their arses off.

user1479228519 · 22/06/2018 22:52

The open fb and insta profiles always suprise me too. When so much detail of their lives are put on such a public arena, open to anyone.
For example a certain FL person is on holiday on Florida at the moment and is posting everything on social media. Live videos / photos / details of where they’re staying. Now don’t get me wrong I love posting a snap or two on social media but I have a lot of privacy blocks on them so I know that the people I share my snaps with would a) be interested in seeing them and B) would not use them for any other purpose. Also I think it’s quite sad that she has to share so many family moments with the world as some ridiculous act of ‘ attraction marketing ‘ Speaking as an ex FL Bot I was always told to post holiday photos to show I was living the dream so I know that part of this endless photo sharing is to serve that purpose which is so sad. Especially somewhere like Disney which is a wonderful magical family place.
Step away from the social media and enjoy the time with your family !!!! Please!!!

It’s not only this but the constant posting about their ‘business ‘ all the time.. whatever the network marketing company the pattern is the same. I love my job, I have an amazing company car, I go on nice trips and have a few nice perks... but I do not post on fb photos of my car, my earnings or my office because that would be vulgar and ridiculous!
No one in a regular J.o.b feels this need to do this and won’t have time because they are actually working... not pretending to work in a coffee shop ( because anywhere could be their office for the day you know) on social media messaging people asking them to join their biz-ness.

Also has anyone actually tried to work outside in the garden? It may make for a good insta photo but the reality is sun glare on your laptop... wasps and the occasional breeze blowing your paper on the floor....

ArbunneHun · 22/06/2018 22:54

LOL @ Messiah referring to his shitty backdrop and lights used in his lives as the TS-Shite ‘EU Studios’.

The bloody ego on the man!

BSintolerant · 23/06/2018 00:31

Yawn is off delivering customer orders, just like Santa. if Santa only had a deodorant and toothpaste to deliver.

Are you confusing Santa with Satan? Wink

Whiterangey · 23/06/2018 01:40

Damn autocorrect Grin

She hasn't posted since she went off on her delivery run. I've got this mental image of her still standing outside refusing to leave until they sign up to her team.

"So i'll put you down as a maybe then?"

I’m watching king of queens now where they have been conned into joining a pyramid scheme

Global Empowerment Coach

World Traveller

Freedom Lifestyle Coach

Is this from a named Bot on this thread? I found her when I was looking for Brow originally, as hers are rather special.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 23/06/2018 09:49

@BangingOn - Is that not Homeschool Bot?

BangingOn · 23/06/2018 10:04

Oooh, could be. I’ve not noticed her posting about homeschooling but will go and look back through her posts.

What’s the FL50 club? I see that Uber has qualified.

Bovneydazzlers · 23/06/2018 14:13

Castle’s planner business accounts are published. It’s not looking great, director’s have had to lend the company £75k and unlike last year the directors aren’t classifying themselves as employees (preumably not enough money in company to draw a salary from). Looks like it made a small profit though, to be fair (but most companies would with no salaries...)

It’s not just that there are less bots than in the crazy days of 2015, I think there is less of the mentality that all bots must have a special diary and such a massive focus on mindset.

BangingOn · 23/06/2018 14:32

That’s very interesting re the planners. Surely there’s an app for that anyway?

If anyone follow MLM Lies Exposed on FB someone has posted a pre-launch ad for TS Life products on there. A JP Bot has jumped ship.

BangingOn · 23/06/2018 15:05

Every time someone comments ‘Messiah’ to a TS post I wonder which one of you it is Grin

Whiterangey · 23/06/2018 16:10

The orders for Yawn's 'grab a grand' promotion are flying in.

Which is why lots of people are commenting that they have entered and can't wait to see if they have won. Which you would expect when people have the chance to win £1000 and have entered.

I now wouldn't be surprised if Yawn reads this and gets some of her bots to comment as if they have entered, but now i'm writing this sentence she will likely post something about don't comment on the post but PM her or something.

OP posts:
Whiterangey · 23/06/2018 16:33

It's definitely not me commenting, I don't as you get blocked by bots and doing the whole alternative facebook account thing is a lot of hassle.

What I would love to do is to sit down in a room with a number of top bots and have a civilised discussion about their business, the tactics involved, just to see what they say and to get their view of why they do what they do even though they are aware of the infamous 99% statistic.

It's never going to happen, can you imagine a group of top bots agreeing to something where they may have to tell the truth, or at the very least get caught out in their lies? Neither can I.

OP posts:
BangingOn · 23/06/2018 16:37

Me neither Rangey, it’s not a private group so my friends would likely see my comments too.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 23/06/2018 18:22

@BangingOn - re. Homeschool bot, if I recall rightly, she only discovered the virtues of homeschooling when the cheques dried up and she took the kids out of private school.
