MLM Bot Watch 40 - Forever Living is 40! Yet still 99% of people in all MLM's lose money

Not making money with Forever Living?

Not making money with any MLM?

How to make money with Forever Living?
How to make money with MLM?

Maybe this report done for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) by Jon M. Taylor, MBA, Ph.D., of the Consumer Awareness Institute may have the reason why.

www.ftc.gov/sites/default/files/documents/public_comments/trade-regulation-rule-disclosure-requirements-and-prohibitions-concerning-business-opportunities-ftc.r511993-00008%C2%A0/00008-57281.pdf

When someone urges you to join an MLM in their downline with tales of the riches you can earn, all they are trying to do is use you to earn themselves more money. They know the stats, they know you won't make money and you will lose money, and friends.

They will lovebomb you, be your best friend, be all over you and then drop you like a stone.

Look at the person who is your uplines facebook. See how the people who were tagged in her statuses a year ago the same way you are tagged now are doing. Are they still with the company? Many won't be. Those who are will still not be doing well, exactly the same as a year ago, or two years ago.

If you are in Forever living, check facebook for the global rally cheques of your upline, notice how they have been going down year on year? The market reached saturation point in 2015, it's downhill since then and things will get worse, not better.

Most MLM's in the UK are at the same point, we are not a huge country and MLM's have reached saturation point.

FleeBee I know Yawn often said her DS didn't like being in photos so he didn't feature in many. A lot of bots seem to feature their children a lot up 'til a certain age when I suppose they start getting self-conscious or become aware that they're being featured loads. Maybe other children mention it too (in a "My mum saw you in a photo on facebook" kind of way)

What is worse is when a bot tells their "story" (or their "why" as they like to call it) and this contains details that their children might not want plastered all over the internet for all to see (relationship or health problems, poverty and hardship etc).

One of the more lowly bots that we've mentioned on here did this recently and revealed that her daughter had been sexually abused when she was younger. I did wonder if the daughter was aware that her mother had put this on her open/public facebook page.

Whiterangey · 30/05/2018 19:29

That is a terrible thing to put on facebook about your child. How could someone share something like that about their own child just to try and get someone to buy their aloe shit?

Spongebobette · 30/05/2018 19:36

Fucking hell!!

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 30/05/2018 19:53

The phrase 'Working my business' makes me scream!
If FL Aloe products were so wonderful the company would have shops & franchises to run these shops, instead of mlm.
No give me your money & you'll flog a dead horse.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 30/05/2018 19:56

Actually I've just got back and re-read her post which went into great depth in a long rambling post about her childhood and life since

  • she doesn't say specifically which child but the timing of the abuse makes it obvious if you know her children and which are hers from a previous relationship, which are her DH's etc. (and you would know as she often outlines how they became a family, naming names etc)

So, so wrong though.

Tw1nsetAndPearls · 30/05/2018 20:20

As somebody whose cancer is in remission I have reported brokebot's cannabis healed my cancer post to FB but they have got back to me and said that they are not going to do anything.

Who else can I report it to? Trading standards?

Happypuppy · 30/05/2018 20:36

I saw that post and cringed too.

I actually am missing Yawn’s pet pictures.

Happypuppy · 30/05/2018 20:37

(Cringed at lowly bot’s abuse post that was)

Would airbornne come under this ?

cozietoesie · 30/05/2018 20:47

If they've got it they use it, Dora. Gawd knows what is disclosed at one-to-ones.

Jonsey32 · 30/05/2018 22:12

Oh wow! Have you all seen shingles latest post?

ArbunneHun · 30/05/2018 22:23

If you haven’t already, check out @Barnbot’s latest Valentus update...

Oh huns: it’s GOOOOOOOD

BSintolerant · 30/05/2018 22:28

Oh, I say!

Jonsey32 · 30/05/2018 22:30

Explains why a few of them have been “stepping back” from their biz

Whiterangey · 30/05/2018 23:10

I struggle to believe that when there are so many still flogging it and who are smashing it.

I do have additional questions..

A Blue Diamond was mentioned, and it is stated that he is owed over $1million. Does he want sympathy? He 'earned' that million by screwing over his downline, in the same way that anyone else who was a Blue Diamond screwed their downline. Nothing specific just normal MLM stuff.

Is the information on the settling out of court information coming from the Blue Diamond? It can take a very very long time from filing to court and if Valentus know they are going down, they may just keep on ignoring the lawsuit.

Also a bit confused on the Nonsuit stuff, I googled and it seems that means the plaintiff decided not to go ahead with the case. Though that might be wrong, but google said it was right and google is always right.

Does that mean Valentus decided to settle out of court? That would be very quick if they had.

I can't find barnbot on fb, someone please sum up the gooooooood Valentin's status for me, pretty please?

NatashaShingles · 30/05/2018 23:30

Here’s the link to lawsuit. I posted the closed case earlier. It’s going to arbitration. apps.collincountytx.gov/JudicialRecords/Case/CaseDetail?caseid=1724552&nodeid=203&referrer=Case%7CSearch%7CCase%20Search%20Results%7CParty%7CCR%2CCV%2CFAM%2CPR%7C7%7C%7CValentus%7C%7C1%7C1

BSintolerant · 30/05/2018 23:30

The term nonsuit in this case means that the plaintiff has dropped his case against Valentus and the other defendants. The case hasn't been settled so nobody's been paid off. There's nothing to stop the plaintiff starting up the case again though. Makes me wonder if he dropped his case because it'd cost him too much money to run it, or Valentus aren't worth pursuing because they're not good for the money. You can't take knickers off a bare arse.

BSintolerant · 30/05/2018 23:34

Aha! So if it's going to arbitration, Valentus may have some knickers after all. Ooer!

NatashaShingles · 30/05/2018 23:36

Anyone for popcorn?? 😉

Whiterangey · 30/05/2018 23:38

Ta muchly @NatashaShingles

This is getting interesting, and thank you for everything you have done to aid towards the impending demise of Valentus.

Im just the gobshite delivering the material, it’s been a huge team effort to be fair. We had reps with accounts solely to get figures etc, intercepting team pages, sending me evidence of messages and posts within leader groups. Not to mention all the hours of emailing back and fourth with authorities that was done by another lady. I can’t take all the credit at all. I just did a few lives for the banter, I had a lot of help all unpaid and time consuming.

cozietoesie · 31/05/2018 00:25

The whole effort has been noticed. Smile
