MLM Bot Watch 40 - Forever Living is 40! Yet still 99% of people in all MLM's lose money

Not making money with Forever Living?

Not making money with any MLM?

How to make money with Forever Living?
How to make money with MLM?

Maybe this report done for the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) by Jon M. Taylor, MBA, Ph.D., of the Consumer Awareness Institute may have the reason why.

www.ftc.gov/sites/default/files/documents/public_comments/trade-regulation-rule-disclosure-requirements-and-prohibitions-concerning-business-opportunities-ftc.r511993-00008%C2%A0/00008-57281.pdf

When someone urges you to join an MLM in their downline with tales of the riches you can earn, all they are trying to do is use you to earn themselves more money. They know the stats, they know you won't make money and you will lose money, and friends.

They will lovebomb you, be your best friend, be all over you and then drop you like a stone.

Look at the person who is your uplines facebook. See how the people who were tagged in her statuses a year ago the same way you are tagged now are doing. Are they still with the company? Many won't be. Those who are will still not be doing well, exactly the same as a year ago, or two years ago.

If you are in Forever living, check facebook for the global rally cheques of your upline, notice how they have been going down year on year? The market reached saturation point in 2015, it's downhill since then and things will get worse, not better.

Most MLM's in the UK are at the same point, we are not a huge country and MLM's have reached saturation point.

rainbowfudgee · 01/06/2018 08:30

Ooh, Timeless Vie gets a mention in the FT article! Go team!

YouOKHun · 01/06/2018 09:24

I’m glad TV got a mention - I’m still missing its FB presence. I guess Danniiii’s still ‘stepping back from her bizniz’ :(

NatashaShingles · 01/06/2018 10:15

NatashaShingles · 01/06/2018 10:27

@Whiterangey - Didn't Castle say a while back that she was organising a raffle to win holidays?

I expect it's "hush hush" because this would be totally illegal.

ArbunneHun · 01/06/2018 11:11

The DSA is effectively a lobbying group for the Direct Sales/MLM industry. They try to keep members just inside of the current legal framework to avoid any changes to the law that would cause their industry to lose money. They exist to protect the corporations and not the participants.

SoftlyCatchyMonkey1 · 01/06/2018 12:59

Has anyone here heard of FLN - Future Lifestyle Network?
A FB friend has signed up with them and plastering over FB

cozietoesie · 01/06/2018 14:09

I have now. Grin

What a bunch! (And by the way, what actually is their product?

Myusername2015 · 01/06/2018 14:30

Forever have upped the stakes now! Just look at this amazing incentive..you only have to flog £700 worth of aloe and force two more people to spend £200 on a box of aloe and you qualify to sit on the grass and eat an egg sandwich. Just amazing.

MLM Bot Watch 40 - Forever Living is 40! Yet still 99% of people in all MLM's lose money
Whiterangey · 01/06/2018 15:16

@Myusername2015 that is a bargain. I could pop in to tesco and buy an egg sandwich for less than £2 and go eat it in a park, but Forever's way is obviously a lot better.

Judging my the OTT response to the new FL cardboard boxes maybe they should forget flogging aloe shite and just sell boxes instead. At least they're useful.

Whiterangey · 01/06/2018 15:33

Those boxes should be used by those leaving FL to send back any product they have to take advantage of the 90% refund when you leave.

I think that 90% refund needs to have more publicity, MLM's obviously don't advertise it, and bots don't either, as any money they made from a downline buying that shit has to be repaid if they leave and take advantage of the 90% buyback.

I'm guessing most people have heard about Lush UK and their current PR disaster?

I saw a Tropic Skincare bot try and cash in but saying her stuff is better than Lush, better for your skin, the environment, don't slag off the Police etc.

I cannot find it now unfortunately.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 01/06/2018 16:18

Bots will jump on any bandwagon to sell their wares.

I seem to remember we've seen some pretty crass and distasteful usage of major events being used in that way on earlier threads.

Whiterangey · 01/06/2018 18:15

I know that last year in America some Lularoe consultants were called out for having promotions and advertising sales based on Hurricane Irma as one of their items of clothing is called Irma.

They were called out pretty quickly by others, but they still used a Hurricane which killed people and caused a lot of devastation to sell some crappy clothing.

Apparently Monat has run into a few problems with the FDA. Their hair care products are apparently made under unsanitary conditions according to a recent report made by the FDA.

Here is the report: www.mlmnewsreport.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/monat-fda-inspection-report.pdf

Second post from FL bots - most definitely from head office 'if you could go anywhere in the world where would you go.........' Castlebot and singing bot from up north. Somethings afoot. Does anyone think that some high up bots need to stay in FL purely for their other interests ie Uber selling her book, Northern Bot getting far more recognition than she deserves on the back of little bots downloading her record, Castlebot sister selling her dolls etc

cozietoesie · 01/06/2018 23:54

Is now the time to contact them? (If the 'organisation' is failing them?)

Whiterangey · 02/06/2018 01:07

I have absolutely no idea who Northern bot is. A bot has released a record? I'm going to guess that i'm unlikely to have heard it on the radio.

Castles sister is not doing very well. Her doll company is losing money and has two charges on it, I think that is where she has borrowed money in the past to keep the business afloat, something about the business premises being mortgaged or something. Her doll business is losing lots of money.

It would also appear that she is making next to nothing in Forever Living as well, about 7k a year according to companies house.

She probably could have made the doll thing work if she devoted the proper time to making it work, instead of doing Forever Living.

She always comes across as desperate in whatever she's doing. Which makes sense, according to companies house she would be entitled to benefits.

Is the ‘where would you go on holiday’ trick a way to get people to respond, then you DM them and ask if you can keep their contact details? Gets round GDPR

Paddy1234 · 02/06/2018 08:35

If you google up 'Forever Living Middle East' then you will recognise name under videos as they are in top ten of the cheques.

Afishblowingbubbles · 02/06/2018 09:03

Lots of lower eagle bots posting about the holiday too.Sad
