Yawns BFF has moved house although that was before the rally.

Although unlike Yawn she actually received a cheque, a fair chunk of that will go on private school fees.

Until next years companies house records are published we can't tell how much they are earning apart from the cheques. I have a feeling that it's dropped considerably yet expenses will have stayed the same.

Actually - if they've all been told to get off their backsides and graft - will expenses not rise? Wink

ArbunneHun · 23/05/2018 19:26

I thought this from the FTC was interesting:

www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/2018/05/work-home-scams-lead-business-coaching-schemes

Scammers selling people’s details on to bogus ‘business coaching’ companies, so people effectively get scammed twice.

Reminded me of the relationship between MLMs and #mindset coaches...

dadandmum · 23/05/2018 20:00

@ArbunneHun will that include the idiot (IMHO) Talking'O'Bot and MindsetBot, because they seem to be as bad for talking a lot of rubbish.

Angryangryyoungwoman · 23/05/2018 20:04

Could someone please pm me who the nicknames refer to please? Castle bot is obvious but I'm not completely sure I have the others. Thanks in advance

ArbunneHun · 23/05/2018 20:11

Mr O’Conman and his ilk are shameful. Utterly full of #botshite and charge people a fortune to tell them it’s their thinking which is wrong not the bloody business model.

Here’s a little #inspo meme I made about a certain practitioner we called out on TV for spouting utter crap:

MLM Bot Watch 39 - After taking a year off we are back with no cheque, no hope, but new products!
dadandmum · 23/05/2018 20:12

Done what I can

cozietoesie · 23/05/2018 20:12

It might be as well, in light of HebeMumsnet's kind post, to remind you all that PMs are subject to the Talk Guidelines just as much as open posts. Smile

SoftlyCatchyMonkey1 · 23/05/2018 21:33

In response to all the mlm inspirational Facebook posts

MLM Bot Watch 39 - After taking a year off we are back with no cheque, no hope, but new products!
cozietoesie · 23/05/2018 21:44

These 'inspirational' memes really get me - they bear no relation to real life....

Dreamgirl91 · 23/05/2018 21:51

@Whiterangey Salons ex upline Grimbsy/CockoBot is launching Bode Pro. Repackaged Vemma products. "Burn" is the weightloss one they are all banging on about. See the same old crappy promo posters and cover photos that she fires out. Recycling at it's finest from her Valentus, LTW, and FLP days.

Toobusytowee · 23/05/2018 22:05

If you like a good inspirational quote, look up ‘inspirobot’. It’s a website that generates random sayings with an arty background picture. Some of them are hilarious. Others are just odd.

cozietoesie · 23/05/2018 22:18

They just leave me completely cold so I'd welcome some input from others on what they do for them - other than their anticipated role in a new adherent's 'development'. (Perhaps that's their only real use?)

JaniceBattersby · 24/05/2018 00:00

I can see rasher bot’s personal page. She last posted on May 11. Before that, she posted about it being almost time for new beginnings. She’s also posted about an Ariiiiiiiix holiday she saved a load of money on.

She took on a big mortgage not all that long ago and she’s a single mum. While I hate MLMs with a passion, I wouldn’t want her to lose her home. That would be shit [shit]

cozietoesie · 24/05/2018 00:10

Yes. It would be - but what's the alternative? Lots of 'small fry' in desperate circumstances because they're busting a gut to maintain her lifestyle?

Toobusytowee · 24/05/2018 00:12

Ethan Vanderbuilt has had all his You Tube videos pulled. An MLM must have complained about them. He has appealed but been denied. He says he is going to put them up on another platform. Ethan does so much to educate people about MLM and I hope he gets it sorted soon.

Kathysclown · 24/05/2018 06:16

Messiah Bot is announcing 2 new products that will 'blow your mind'.....

How can he match mint choc chip shake?

How about some spider-leg mascara (in the novelty shade of orange) and some shoe insoles that melt fat away through the bottom of your feet?

Any other predictions on what products are going to change our world??

PopPopRadio · 24/05/2018 06:31

Earlier in this thread, someone mentioned that Facebook's updated Community Standards meant MLM posts are in breach of the standards. Could you clarify the rules for me?

I've spent the past couple of weeks battling the bots on our local selling page. We don't seem to have any mods or admin on there so it is a free for all. Fortunately we do have a dedicated anti MLM resistance on there who post and comment each time but obviously mostly we just get blocked after a couple of comments.

I've been posting the Botwatch article on Forever' s decline as often as I can. As one bot pointed out last night that does say this is an opinion piece which they are using to discount all of the information in there. Too Busy perhaps you could modify it to just be a data report (with the awesome graphs) and then do a separate article on your opinion of what the reduction in cheques means?

In the meantime I am working hard to get myself made into an admin in the group and then hello, Ban City!

Lonelybutnice · 24/05/2018 06:33

Just had a thought through the night and checked our joint account which I never look at Blush I'm still paying for FLP360!! That's £343 they've had from me for absolutely nothing (not to mention the rest of the money they had from me when I was a bot!)
It's not clear how to cancel it so I've emailed them. No chance I'll get my money back from them though Angry

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 24/05/2018 08:14

Funny how it's only on a bots page that you see other MLM products being recommended.

Uber is asking for recommendations for a mascara so out pop those saying Younique and Arbonne. I can honestly say I've never seen Younique recommended anywhere!

What I don't understand is how come other bots are watching her page. Do they just watch top bots from other MLMs to pick up tips? Is it there a parallel universe out there of bots liking each others fb pages, commenting and buying from each other?

Norma27 · 24/05/2018 08:16

That’s terrible lonely. Hope you manage to cancel future payments. They really are scummy, robbing vultures.

Will the new data protection act have any affect on bots; they have less than 34 hours to comply and I don't think most of them will understand it

Yawn is at it again:

"If a little, unconfident childminder from Worcester can do it .... you can too"

No Yawn, according to your LinkedIn profile, you were a Communications Operator for West Mercia Police, "Providing first class technical support to officers on the ground, often in times of fast paced stress and action".

Why the lie, Yawn? In fact, why the constant lies? Could it be that your 'business' is based on deceit and exploitation, and your brief 'success' was based on how easily lies trip off your tongue?
