Not thick, but immoral and desperate.
Desperate for cash & CCs to make up for the drastically reduced cheque.
It may look a lot, but when you're pissing money away in the expectation the you will get at least three times more every year forever, it doesn't go very far.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 19/05/2018 02:05

Oh, and possibly thick too.

Whiterangey · 19/05/2018 02:06

I'm going to do one here, so if everyone can pay me £20 and you could win an island.

I'm having a few problems with my bank at the moment, waiting to get it sorted so unfortunately the only way for you to pay me is via Western Union.

It's all totally legit.

Honest.

Has anyone heard much about King and Queen Fitness? A friend has started posting shite. A brief look at the Facebook is all working from home, champagne and bossbabe-tastic but it’s very vague about what it’s about and I don’t want to ask her!

GoldenKelpie · 19/05/2018 08:33

Regarding Castle's raffle. There should be Terms and Conditions for entering any competition to win a holiday. When I see comps like this the first thing I do is carefully check the T&C's because invariably there are exclusions (dates applicable etc) and restrictions. She is truly desperate to try this particular scam, it's quite shocking, actually. Her bots trust and believe in her, she is exploiting this to the max.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 19/05/2018 08:46

What a scam! Do they think they're going to get away with it?

If you play the National Lottery you pop along to your newsagents and buy your ticket for £2. That's it.
Imagine if your newsagent also made you purchase something you didn't even want that cost 5x the amount you spent on the ticket to boost his takings .....so to get your ticket you had to buy something for £10 too. You'd tell them to get lost.

Damn it looks like a closed group so I can't view 😟 Bit of a pointer if I tried to join now though 😂

Paddy1234 · 19/05/2018 09:27

Tax bill bot is unusually quiet - planning her next move 👌

Paddy1234 · 19/05/2018 09:49

Facebook rules are that you have to show terms and conditions for any promotions in detail ie stating a luxury holiday is not specific enough, it needs to be in more detail - value/location etc, also you are not allowed to share or tag anyone in - but I presume they don't need to do that as they have a captured audience anyway.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 19/05/2018 10:01

It's not just about Facebook rule, though. This is an unlicensed lottery, it is also massively open to fraud.

I expect the sanctions for the latter two are more than a slap on the wrist from FB.

ArbunneHun · 19/05/2018 10:02

Er... has anyone seen the video the CEO of Ariiiiiiiix posted about how to “get a wife or a girlfriend”?

Firstly, you raging misogynist, women are not passive objects for men to “get”.

Secondly, what he describes are “the hard way” is basically being kind, getting to know someone and falling in love.

Thirdly, the “easy way” - making lots and lots of money through your Ariiiiiiiix business to become really rich - is a) statistically unlikely b) hugely offensive to both men and women and c) oh do fuck off you nasty, offensive, sexist twat.

So I have this Younique rep on my Facebook, she has been a rep for about 2 years. Every week there is a 'whats in the box' Live, just full of make up. Well I thought she was maybe a mid rank and getting a few freebies with her 'Y cash'... no she just this month hit Yellow status!! Fucking Yellow!! After 2 years!! That is 1 rank above the white - new starter. I am gobsmacked, like she must have spent an absolute fortune on shit make up. Every morning there is a 'get ready with me live' where she puts on a full face before work - at like 6am. So in 2 years of spending a couple of hundred a month at least, getting up an hour early to document how you put your make up on - she has finally got a promotion because she has done £1000 worth of sales in her time as a presenter.

Now what annoys me with this is that she is a lady in I would say her late 30's, she is into the same music as me with is quite a niche genre where everyone sort of knows everyone type thing. By all accounts she comes across as a sweet, nice person who just genuinely believes this has done her the world of good. A lot of her friends are women the same age that do not wear make up so they do take an interest as she does her looks quite well, considering 2 years ago she never wore a scrap either. She isn't stupid by a long shot, comes across intelligent and holds a good job I believe. So how on earth has she been suckered in so strongly. It makes me really sad. She genuinely does seem to like the make up, but i think that's because before Younique she didnt wear any at all and has just jumped straight into this without realising there is superior and cheaper elsewhere. I don't know why I'm rambling - it just make me sad. Every month she buys the kudos as well. Felt like putting my thoughts on papaer a bit, sorry haha.

Yawn has just posted about the most beautiful people being happy #better have the Botox at the ready to hide those worry lines

Nakedavenger74 · 19/05/2018 11:13

Saba launch in Birmingham looks like the most dire of my work training events. 4 whole tables of eager teamies in a windowless room they are calling an executive box in the football club. It's clear that most of them have scrimped and saved for this too. I can't think of anything more depressing.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 19/05/2018 11:27

Re. Yawn's post...... Happy people are only beautiful of course if they have a clear conscience and a genuine smile, not a rictus grin and a tendency to rip off vulnerable people for their own gain.

ArbunneHun · 19/05/2018 11:44

The Ariiiix CEO has reminded me again that MLM is a feminist issue. Those insufferable, sexist men at the top making money off thousands of women, promising solutions but instead trapping them at home, into debt. Let’s not forget that many MLMs were set up to keep women ‘occupied’ and at home - depriving them of careers and economic independence - because it suited their ideologies.

It’s still the same. They’re not giving women freedom, they are keeping them out of the workplace, stuck at home, still being the prime carers, cleaners, feeders. They don’t give you independence, they trap you in a 1950s housewife existence.

Boss babe my arse.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 19/05/2018 12:02

Bit of a blast from the past but I was just looking at the fb page of who I think we called LipBot.

Anyone know what she's up to now as she's been looking for a part time admin/secretary person. There's none of the usual MLM bollocks on her page, no mention of a business and her posts only go back to March.

Curious and curiouser.....

entrepeneur · 19/05/2018 12:14

@OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny The cynic in me would say that there wasn't any part time admin role to fill and she's just lining up new victims for her next scam!

Twentytwentyhindsight · 19/05/2018 12:22

Kenny - her OH now has his own (non-MLM) business, so it is feasible that's what it relates to.

SSDGM · 19/05/2018 13:10

Yes, he appears to be doing well with taking advantage of a government grant scheme to replace either boilers or some sort of insulation in older properties. He has a team of salespeople on commission only.

Fair play time him.

SSDGM · 19/05/2018 13:10

Fair play TO him! 😂

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 19/05/2018 13:19

So she's out of the MLM world then for now ? Shock

ArbunneHun · 19/05/2018 13:37

Woah - Wig is back in the GCC train.

When all your other crypto scams have collapsed, why not head back to your original bonkers crypto-3D printing pyramid scheme???
