36 Lies to reel you in...

  1. They will tell you that you will have time freedom in this business. Two weeks later they will tell you the business won't work unless you do.

When it's a business event they will not accept excuses for you missing it and will set an example by missing their child's first birthday or telling you a story of how they once shit themselves in white trousers on the front row at success day because they were poorly but didn't want to miss it.... You will know quickly that the unspoken rules is 'no excuses on success day's.

Wig’s Privilege Car Club: you pay £50 a month until you/your downline have recruited 81 other suckers and then you get a car to the value of £18k approx, while still paying your £50 per month and your annual fee of £150 to be a member. How long will it take you to get 81 ‘affiliates’? How many people will pay £50 a month for nothing for a few months or a year and then drop out?

SSDGM · 23/03/2018 07:45

So you find 81 people, they, to get the car too have to find a further 6561 people, who need to find another 531,441 and then the next level is more than half of the population of the UK. There isn’t even enough lives on the planet for where it goes next.

Sounds about as legit as a business plan for a shop selling weight loss instant coffee. Massive roll eyes.

More on Privilege Car Club:

You pay £150 ‘membership’
You pay £50 per month while you are building a downline of the require 81 other affiliates - let’s guess that takes 6 months maybe? £300?
You have to maintain that number of affiliates for 3 consecutive months, still paying your £50 per month, so assuming you manage it, that’s another £150 minimum.

So after 9 months, you are £600 down with nothing to show for it?

And even if by some fluke, you manage your 3 months of 81 affiliates & you get your car, guess what? If your affiliate number drops below the 81 at any point in the 2 years of you having your car...

Wow! Sign me up hun! That is a million miles away from the ‘drive a new car for just £50 a month!’ sales hook that Wig is pushing. No wonder details are only being given out via PM.

What a bloody scam. Disgusting.

MLMsuperfan · 23/03/2018 09:07

Pure pyramid scheme.

ArbunneHun · 23/03/2018 09:16

Oh wait! It gets better:

There’s a crypto element. Members of Privilege can also buy into a PrivilegeCoin ICO.

Double the scam!

Peaheadz · 23/03/2018 11:25

Yes I think the aspect of neglecting a real career path is often overlooked. I was targeted after graduating in a fairly niche subject which I was good at. But I fell hook line and sinker for the idea that I would be stupid for getting a regular J.O.B and was grateful I had access to this wonderful MLM company, 'proven' to work by the successful bots around me. For years I was convinced if I just listened to more trainings, did more, worked harder, recruited that 'unicorn' superstar, it would all have been worth it. If I didn't give up in 3-5 years I could travel the world, watch my kid grow up, never have to have a miserable life in an office.

This happened to me. I stopped looking for full time work and only had a couple of part time jobs. I honestly thought that FLP would give me the life that I wanted.

I did contact marketing and various stalls. Some of my other friends in FLP would go door knocking to tell them about the opportunity. One of them chased a man on crutches shouting I sell products that can help you.

I would do surveys to get contact numbers so I could prospect them. I would spend my time delivering cards about the opportunity. I had a leaflet delivery job as well and the irony was that I earned more from that then FLP.

I am glad that I don’t do that anymore. I can just go out and enjoy myself and not worry about working the business.

Hi all. I’m just wondering if anyone in here knew what ‘click funnels’ or ‘funnel hacking’ was? Is it a MLM?

Sean1984 · 23/03/2018 20:32

Ive recently come across these ‘click funnels” too, another money making racket from what i can see. www.clickfunnels.com . A person i know of (just know them to see locally in my little town) is into them. Hes written a e-book teaching people about entrepreneurship and about “finanical freedom”’ and how to be succesfully. Its funny cause i saw him the other day driving his one litre Toyota Yaris around the place!!!!!ConfusedHmm

BasinHaircut · 23/03/2018 21:24

sean it all sounds like bollocks. The idea of online marketing or whatever aspect I can get my head around, but what the fuck hat had to do with improving yourself or being an entrepreneur etc I don’t know. All meaningless word and gettno no people to pay to listen to them?

Sean1984 · 23/03/2018 21:53

I got a feeling we will be hearing more of these “funnels” in the future Hmm. They seem to be a way to get more people to visit ur website if your selling something, to get people to buy stuffEnvy

Whiterangey · 23/03/2018 23:19

I think it's just a buzz word that doesn't mean anything in particular. Those that use it use it to sound cool, and it spreads because everyone is too embarrassed to admit they haven't got a clue what a funnel is, what it does, and what it means.

I ran it through the botspeak to english translator and apparently it means Ponzi scheme.

Whiterangey · 24/03/2018 01:21

Yawn bot is super excited that she managed to sell things.

Someone I know runs a successful business and he sells over £2000 worth of stock a day. He also would not be able to retire at the moment.

She has made two posts showing off how she has sold stuff to 6 different people.

She also made a post a while back about how her stylist would only keep bleaching it because it's in such amazing condition thanks to the amazing aloe shampoo and conditioner. Turns out that is all down to Olaplex. One of the things she has sold is the shampoo and conditioner and i'm guessing that was because her hair is in such amazing condition despite being bleached. I'm guessing she forgot to tell her customer that it's actually down to Olaplex.

Ladiva1971 · 24/03/2018 01:30

But, but whiterangey she doesn't sell............she recommends Confused

BangingOn · 24/03/2018 06:56

My eyes are rolling hard at a certain JP bot posting photos of her pre-teen daughter at her weekly meeting (because it’s so family friendly), apparently she asks every week when she can join. The brainwashing starts young, it really irks me when they use their kids in their posts.

ArbunneHun · 24/03/2018 07:25

Eeeeeek! Today is the Ariiiiiiiiiix UK big launch of their non-ATOL protected travel division!!!!! Who has paid their £20 to head over to a conference centre in Solihull for the day???? And what are you wearing to the #exclusive ‘after party’ (tickets just £5!) at a nearby Yate’s later?

Stay classy, Ariiiiiiix.

BSintolerant · 24/03/2018 07:59

Whiterangey Sorry to get all anal at this hour, but are referring to her hair, or has she gone American on us, i.e is the bot bleaching her butt? All that green aloe gloop is bound to make her arse look like the martians have crash-landed on it. I hope she's not going to plaster before and after photos of that all over Facebook. Envy

Norma27 · 24/03/2018 09:06

Arbunne I am in Solihull!! Which conference centre is it?

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 24/03/2018 09:24

Well it seems that slipping down to no.2 position has meant that ex-Uber bot now has to sacrifice her Friday evenings by doing 5.5 hour round trips to launch a new victims recruits business.

That's living the dream folks!

ArbunneHun · 24/03/2018 11:26

@Norma it’s at the National Conference Centre.

It's exhausting just thinking about what those top Forever Living bots have to do to stay afloat.
There's no rest, no off days, no relaxing, no breaks, their whole lives are about promoting their business or recruiting. Every event in their lives, every purchase they make, every holiday is exploited and turned into attraction marketing.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 24/03/2018 12:14

I think it's deeper than just this or that bot's business slipping. I think FL is reaching the inevitable saturation point.
The whole "we've been around for longer than all these upstarts" is turning around and biting them. There is a finite number of people who are liable to be roped into the scam. Most have already been and gone. The remaining pool of potential victims has dwindled, accelerated by the negative feedback from failed bots and their circles, as well as a rising 'MLM awareness' movement, of which this thread is a part.
At the best of times, the bots have to recruit relentlessly to stay in the same place.
With increased turnover and a dwindling number of potential recruits, they are going to have to spin the hamster wheel even faster, while still seeing diminishing returns.
The attraction marketing façade will be harder and harder to maintain, the cracks harder to paper over.
Imagine watching your world crumble around you and having to desperately pretend it's not in order to try to postpone the inevitable - living the dream indeed!

If I post a pic of a mulberry handbag that definitely means I am buying it right?
I am the most honest, caring, thoughtful person so I deserve it. Others just can’t see it! And I deserve a brand new car despite all the jealous trolls bullying me. HONEST!!
