Isn't it funny how everything that has a strong allegiance or connection to MLMs is slightly dodgy or is uncovered as not quite what it seemed.
In the local Worcestershire paper there was a seemingly innocent article about a facebook page called Worcestershire Women's Society, (a local networking/friendship/support page for women) and it's founder.
Well, it's all kicked off with around 50 comments on the newspaper website article - allegations of bullying /cyber-bullying, bitchiness, posts getting deleted on the fb page by the founder if she doesn't like what you say, people being banned, etc.
Here's the MLM bit .....the founder is a make-up "business owner" (or as one comment after the article puts it "A £79 starter kit for a rip off mlm business does not make you a make up consultant"), the group is rife with MLM reps. One of the comments after the article says:
"Also, whilst MLM business works for some, there are equally as many people (particularly vulnerable new mums) who are exploited by these schemes. You are not even allowed to discuss this on the page as you get told off by Helen and about 100 younique "presenters" for breeding negativity and being jealous of their success. (Have any of you actually obtained that amazing company car or a free holiday ? )"
Oh, and the best bit, guess who one of the founders facebook friends is (on the founders private facebook as well as the group page) ... yep .....our favourite anti-bullying bot.
