MLM Bot Watch 36 - Those who think it's ok to tell white lies soon become colourblind

36 Lies to reel you in...

  1. They will tell you that you will have time freedom in this business. Two weeks later they will tell you the business won't work unless you do.

When it's a business event they will not accept excuses for you missing it and will set an example by missing their child's first birthday or telling you a story of how they once shit themselves in white trousers on the front row at success day because they were poorly but didn't want to miss it.... You will know quickly that the unspoken rules is 'no excuses on success day's.

Are you sure, Natasha? That seems very odd given the circumstances (eg the relationship between the company and its sellers.)

Sean1984 · 03/03/2018 00:40

Has anyone thought of how dangerous it will be with all the bots driving around in white cars with all the snow out there!!!! They’ll cause a crash, nobody will see them coming GrinGrinGrin

Whiterangey · 03/03/2018 07:22

@Sean1984 What are you saying about my car! Everyone knows that bot cars are powered by unicorn coffee travel vitamin dust so they don't use the roads, they fly.

It is actually super safe as you can't get into much trouble in a car that your only ownership of it is the photo you got someone to take of you standing next to one in the dealership.

BSintolerant · 03/03/2018 08:25

The MEssiah doesn't need a white car. He just steps on a cloud goes off on a tangent with the angles.

Sean1984 · 03/03/2018 12:00

Whiterangey thats true, they just pretend their buying the car and pose in showrooms ,which is oh too too sadShockWink

Grimbles · 03/03/2018 12:27

Have any UK monat hunbots appeared yet? An anti-mlm FB group I am on says this has just launched in the UK, you pay loads of money to completely wreck your hair and scalp!

SSDGM · 03/03/2018 13:35

Has that Vida group I found gone secret again?

NatashaShingles · 03/03/2018 13:42

Like i said dont quote me! But if you were to say "turnover" 15000 sales in your downline and pay VAT on that, your uplines turnover would also include yours so effectively you'd be paying 2x VAT on same products and so on. I am sure its what your personal ltd company turnsover so whatever monthly turnover into your personal company. That would include any retail commissions, monthly bonus cheques and CB cheques. My upline were really tight on their tax/VAT etc and im sure thats how it worked.

BangingOn · 03/03/2018 20:59

Natasha must be right, you would only pay VAT on your own turnover, which would mostly be commission. If you bought product yourself to sell on then I imagine that would be included, but product bought via you but from FL or JP would be their turnover and the commission yours.

Whiterangey · 04/03/2018 00:00

@Grimbles The only person I know at the moment who has joined is Wigbot, although she doesn't appear to be attempting to grow a downline, too invested in her cryptoponzi's.

Talking of Wig, Sleaze has been conspicuous by his absence. He hasn't posted anything in absolutely ages on his page, the only content is when he has been tagged by Wig. He did reply on a tagged post by someone else a few days ago so he hasn't had his account banned by facebook.

I believe one of his Ponzi's has recently collapsed, BTC Global, he seems to have been involved in that one and it's gone down, so he may be laying low until those who are mad at him for getting them involved calm down a bit.

SSDGM · 04/03/2018 12:09

The Juice Plus/MLM lies exposed page was going to hold a debate tonight with an Acti-Bot who claimed her MLM wasn’t like the others. Talented Ladies Club owner took the compensation plan to pieces. Acti Bot has pulled out as it “would put too much negative attention on Acti” - ie- I have no answers to the questions asked or facts stated and my upline has told me not to.

BSintolerant · 04/03/2018 14:32

I'm not surprised SSDGM.

Some of these bots are dazzled by the bliss of ignorance. Others, like this actibot, know full well that when MLM schemes collide with critical analysis and logical thought their only solution is to run off like scalded cats screeching about negativity. Ignorance is one of many human vulnerabilities that fuel MLM schemes. Thank goodness for those who are fighting it.

As Oscar Wilde said, "Ignorance is like a delicate exotic fruit; touch it and the bloom is gone."

Whiterangey · 04/03/2018 17:01

The pulling apart of the compensation plan was very impressive and very clear.

It's no wonder the Acti Bot scarpered, there is no way she could have given a reasonable response to that which didn't agree that the compensation plan was rubbish.

Hopefully this may have opened her eyes a little to how much bots are taken advantage of by the company they work for.

TizzleBizzle · 04/03/2018 19:54

Are we allowed to mention Networking Mummies or kittens???...

Norma27 · 04/03/2018 21:11

Just looked at her page. Just like those Worcester women awards before. (Can’t remember the actual name of them).
If anybody wants a good laugh watch series 1 episode 4 of This Country on bbc I player. Shows somebody getting sucked into an mlm x called eternal vitality (wonder which pyramid scheme they were taking inspiration from there).

I would link it but don’t know how to sorry!

BangingOn · 04/03/2018 21:36

That was a brilliant episode, the whole series was fab but their MLM take off was inspired.

Whiterangey · 04/03/2018 21:53

OMG! I've been nominated for an award! It's for the best use of a car username on this thread in 2018!

It holds the same value and prestige as Yawn's nomination, if not more.

I nominated myself, which purely coincidentally, you can do to get a nomination for Yawn's award.

It's a new category for this year and as yet has no sponsorship, i'm guessing because an 'Independent Representative within Direct Sales' works for someone else and doesn't own their own business so sponsoring that award will be of no financial benefit to a prospective sponsor.

Tickets to the awards cost £50

Of course she will win as she is likely to have the biggest downline out of any of the MLMers who are a member of Networking Mummies and she will encourage all of her downline to vote for her.

TizzleBizzle · 04/03/2018 23:07

@whiterangey congratulations hun! That's awesome. You are smashing it! #mumboss #bossbabe #carplan

In all seriousness though does anyone think our interaction with Networking Mummies on the previous thread may have influenced the creation of this category? It's a very clear alignment with the mlm model rather than any distancing. The wording in particular is very interesting:

We wanted to recognise this growing industry within our awards as so many business mums are now involved within direct sales. The winner of this award will be someone who has built their own business around their family commitments and who has utilised their network of connections to grow not only their own business but those of their team members aswell. We want to hear how you have mentored your team and your success stories along the way.

Now onto that poor impulse purchase of a kitten. How can everything be just hunky dory after so little time? The vacuous obliviousness to the wellbeing of anything or anyone outside her own immediate gratification is what angers me the most.

Whiterangey · 05/03/2018 02:41

She put the cat on one of her dogs for a photo opportunity, on a dog she describes as aloof and unaccepting of the kitten. That does not sound like a good idea.

I hope she at least gets the cats bollocks chopped off. She hasn't done so for at least one dog, but they are easier to keep away from the opposite sex, cats will go where they please.

I think Networking Mummies have followed the money. MLMers love awards, i'd be shocked if her friends who are also part of Networking Mummies haven't nominated themselves as well. Then they can all pay £50 for the ceremony and see who wins. They will all be about how network marketing is so great that awards are starting to be given to them.

Networking Mummies is a business, they can obviously see that MLMers are a source of income for them, and I wouldn't be shocked if soon most of their businesses are MLM's and end up pushing the real businesses away.

Norma27 · 05/03/2018 06:38

OMG eeeeeek! I have had a friend request off a stranger. Looking at her profile she is a monat bot.
Shall I accept just to see what she says and to tell her the harm it causes. Or just not accept it at all?

Norma27 · 05/03/2018 06:40

Oh god just seen she is using it on her 4 year olds hair. This little girl currently looks like she has amazing hair.
Pyramid schemes the lot of you are scum letting people use their little children and potentially causing them harm.

Norma27 · 05/03/2018 06:52

Sorry me again. Looks like she is fairly high up in Canada. No way wil she listen to me saying what harm it causes. Been in it a while by the look of her Facebook page. One status shows her using arbonne and juice plus stuff too.
Her poor little bloody girl.

BangingOn · 05/03/2018 07:55

Is Yawnbot also involved in flowers or am I way off the mark?

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 05/03/2018 09:12

Is Utility Warehouse an MLM that can be done quietly on the side, as in not banging on about it on fb all the time?

It's just that my FL bot posted a photo of her laptop screen recently boasting about her holiday booking (hardly a 4star luxury BTW) and one of the tabs at the top of the screen was for Utility Warehouse which set my Spidey senses tingling.

I just wondered if she quietly had a side-line business. Also, thinking about it, a couple of years ago she also posted something about insurance/PPI type stuff which made me wonder if she was on some sort of commision for that too.

Hmm
