36 Lies to reel you in...

  1. They will tell you that you will have time freedom in this business. Two weeks later they will tell you the business won't work unless you do.

When it's a business event they will not accept excuses for you missing it and will set an example by missing their child's first birthday or telling you a story of how they once shit themselves in white trousers on the front row at success day because they were poorly but didn't want to miss it.... You will know quickly that the unspoken rules is 'no excuses on success day's.

Absolutely, that’s viable but that’s not how he’s describing it. He’s deceiving people from the outset.

NatashaShingles · 02/03/2018 13:31

It comes naturally to him! Leaders in MLM think its the same as traditional business and assume you do things the same way. In no other business do you describe so much detail before launching anything, leaders will keep downline hanging and give them little titbits of info playing on peoples natural curiosity. That's what hes doing hence the 309 lives in a week saying absolutely nothing!! X

Thoughts on a name for an MLM being headed by a man with a Messiah complex?!

Deity For U?

Networking Prophecies?

Always Volturi?

Answers on a postcard.......

Oh and if you met and were firm about not being interested she’d bug you for all your friends’ details because ‘although it’s not right for you at the moment, there will be friends of yours who would be grateful for this amazing opportunity!’

BSintolerant · 02/03/2018 13:56

entrepeneur Grin

Will the magic ingredient be extract of Gourd?

Who knows? The Messiah / very naughty bot might honour Bigus Dickus's wife with a health product named after her: the Incontinentia Gusset! The only continence aid that will change your water into wine.

Gourd almighty! Wink

Thought for the day:

It’s is not very British to show off and boast about possessions such as new cars etc, I was brought up to think that it was socially naff to do so

Bots do this because MLMs are American in origin and in that country it’s more acceptable

Which is why I, for one, find the boast posts so jarring

BSintolerant · 02/03/2018 14:24

Wholly Mother - The only mlm which sells Extra Virgin Mary Oil to restore your hymen in 40 days and 40 nights. EVMO is also suitable for holy people of all sexes who have spent too long sitting on top of pillars in the desert reading mindset scrolls and are afflicted by chafing and piles.

The Wholly Mother range also includes Mary Magdalene Lengthening shampoo which guarantees at least two metres of hair growth overnight to ensure that your hair will be long enough to dry The Messiah's feet.

Wholly Mother also has a selection of holy water called Wholly Shit, which cures everything apart from critical thinking and ignorance. It also metamorphoses into wine on a Sunday.

BangingOn · 02/03/2018 16:10

Sponge you’re absolutely right. I’m sure I’ve read that a classic upline tactic is to say that neg ferrets are jealous haters because we don’t celebrate success in the U.K.

Hairydilemma · 02/03/2018 16:40

Thanks Dora and Sponge, and of course you’re quite right. I’ll ignore her for a week or so and if she contacts me again I’ll reply along the lines of your message, Dora.

Honestly, I don’t like being blunt but sometimes you are left no option!!

entrepeneur · 02/03/2018 17:18

@BSintolerant I do hope you have trademarked these top notch MLM ideas!

We are living in incredible times where witness the evolution of MessiahBot from the pyramid builder to the freeholder!

BangingOn · 02/03/2018 17:26

How do I find Yawnbot’s FB group? Any clues?

BSintolerant · 02/03/2018 17:28

entepeneur God owns the trademark and The Messiah spreads the botgospel according to MLM. Grin

crumpetsfortea37 · 02/03/2018 18:08

Many thanks indeed dora and natasha very interesting info - but I am a bit confused about VAT registration - at that turnover would they not have to be registered for VAT?

BSintolerant · 02/03/2018 19:40

It's compulsory to register for VAT if your taxable turnover is over £85k in a twelve-month period.

cozietoesie · 02/03/2018 20:49

Here you go, crumpets.

VAT Registration

entrepeneur · 02/03/2018 21:20

@BangingOn Yawnbot's group is posted on her homepage if you scroll back a day or two. Nothing of interest in there, certainly no legit business development information and only 98 members

@dora I have to disagree on the zero reputation! I think he has plenty reputation 😂😂😂 of course, none of which is good!

In reference to VAT, £15000 sales turnover a month would be flp turnover not yours. You register as VAT once your bonuses are £80k a year. Thats when the LTD companies come into play. Flp set your VAT aside and pay it to you when due (I think, dont quote me but I'm sure thats what they did) they are really good with stuff like that to be fair.

BangingOn · 02/03/2018 21:48

Thanks entrepeneur, my Facebook can be temperamental showing me old posts. Will trawl back through.

affectionincoldclimate · 02/03/2018 21:53

Arbonne bot just popped up on my timeline bragging about not being impacted by the snow day and how she gets paid while not having to leave a house unlike people out there. What gets me about the bots is that their version of reality does not account for the fact that a lot of people can work from home these days on occasions. There is the Wifi and the VPN and phones that allow s lot of people to work remotely. As indeed I did today.

One of Salon's Valentus Bots has done five posts boasting about not having to take time off work this week including using her step-father being stuck in snow for six hours as an excuse to promote her "online business".

BSintolerant · 02/03/2018 23:39

Let's face it, not many UK-bases FLP bots are going to reach the VAT threshold.

Has anyone got any up to date FLP bumf which mentions VAT registration?
