36 Lies to reel you in...

  1. They will tell you that you will have time freedom in this business. Two weeks later they will tell you the business won't work unless you do.

When it's a business event they will not accept excuses for you missing it and will set an example by missing their child's first birthday or telling you a story of how they once shit themselves in white trousers on the front row at success day because they were poorly but didn't want to miss it.... You will know quickly that the unspoken rules is 'no excuses on success day's.

Another FLP bot who runs a Networking Mummies group has also been nominated for the same award.

Both her and Yawn have each reserved a table for ten at the awards ceremony. If you look at the site you can buy a place at their tables. Not sure how many seats Yawn will sell to her NM group, as they barely know her, i'm guessing she will get her downline to buy tickets instead so she isn't sitting there by herself.

TizzleBizzle · 05/03/2018 11:49

Nominated or nominated herself? From previous comments she isn't a particularly high-flying bot (didn't qualify for Dallas) but as a NM franchisee she has raised her status.

Also, NM are not entirely legitimising MLMs (or Direct Selling which conveniently glosses over the recruitment aspect) as they have a totally separate category thereby highlighting that they are not proper businesses.

I don't see many Utility Warehouse posts either but when we moved house UW were the supplier so I immediately switched. Someone who didn't know that they were mlm might not have and hey presto a new customer.

No Yawn isn't involved in flowers just "success", "diamonds", questionable interiors and prioritising hair styling over friends' weddings...

BangingOn · 05/03/2018 13:17

Ah, I’m stalking the wrong Bot. Although this one is clearly very good at her floral job and her photos are far more tasteful than most.

Anyone at a loose end that night? We could all join Yawnbot at her table. Just think of all the questions we could ask her face to face Grin

Lol - the MLM Messiah is now comparing himself to Napoleon.

Yep, that’s right mate. Your situation/reputations issues are just like Bonaparte’s. You carry on believing your own hype, Mr EgoWank.

Spongebobette · 05/03/2018 14:33

Quid pro quo

FL bot: does anything to make her business seem legitimate, promises to flog lots of places at the event @ 50 quid

Networking Mummies gets publicised to a large network of FL bots

Tupperwarelid · 05/03/2018 14:57

I’ve noticed the fl willable income is making a return. Both castlebot and her sibling have mentioned it again over the weekend. Can anyone explain how that works?

ArbunneHun · 05/03/2018 15:26

@Tupperwarelid: it doesn’t work. If you die, you (presumably) stop recruiting. If your beneficiary doesn’t recruit, your downline will disappear and so will your ‘income’.

Tupperwarelid · 05/03/2018 15:46

So your child/spouse has to keep your business going, they don't just get an amount each month? That makes more sense.

WILLABLE INCOME MY ARSE

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 05/03/2018 17:10

If you die, you (presumably) stop recruiting

Come on now Arbunne, you know as well as we do that as CEO of your own life/business owner/#businessmama/entrepeneur you can never stop recruiting.

Being dead is no excuse! If you're using it as an excuse you clearly don't want success enough.

Whiterangey · 05/03/2018 17:28

It's the same thing when they talk about retirement. You can't retire, you will only make money while working your business and recruiting due to such high turnover of recruits.

You can't even take time off to have a baby, if you aren't working you aren't making money and will lose money due to recruits leaving and not being replaced.

ArbunneHun · 05/03/2018 19:22

Sorry! Silly me... it’s not the business model’s fault that lazy failures with the wrong mindset stop buying/selling/recruiting after they die!

BSintolerant · 05/03/2018 20:31

The MLM Messiah is comparing himself to Napoleon?

When you think about it, It makes sense in an MLM marketing kind of way: the Russian campaign didn't quite go as planned, and Waterloo didn't end terribly well.

Does anyone know how tall he is?

HipHipHippo · 05/03/2018 22:46

Is there anything you lovely lot could recommend that I pass on to someone trying to recruit for Fm cosmetics?

BSintolerant · 05/03/2018 22:57

Why are the Forever shills pedalling the willable so-called business angle yet again? I'd rather be disinherited.

I find it hard to believe that Forever Living bots die. The clue's in the name. All that aloe juice and mindset training makes them immortal. Sexy Rexy is actually 893 years old.

BSintolerant · 05/03/2018 23:19

Speaking of death, the etymology of the word entrepreneur comes from the French verb entreprendre which means "to undertake". So, literally speaking, an entrepreneur is an undertaker.

Following on from this logic, do bots realise how silly they sound when they call themselves mumpreneurs, girlpreneurs and so on?

"Hey hun! Join my team and be a girltaker!" It sounds wrong on many levels.

Some bots refer to themselves as "entrepeneurs" because they can't spell. The verb "peneur" is an Old French verb which means "to suffer", or literally "to pain." Does this mean they are under-sufferers? Let's hope they've got a cure for that in their PUPP boxes. Grin

Rednailsandnaeknickers · 06/03/2018 01:20

@DoraExplorer99 melaleuca is, I believe the proper/scientific name for tea tree oil so could it be something to do with essential oils? A new doterra?

Whiterangey · 06/03/2018 02:22

Melaleuca have been around for ages in America, looks like they are over here now. They sell wellness crap. It looks like they sell everything, coffee, body lotions, makeup, scented candles, cleaning stuff.

I knew someone who sold it many years ago in the US, they didn't last long.

sshuga · 06/03/2018 05:39

@rainbowfudgee I recently saw this same video (posted in a private group concerning business branding and marketing for self employed artisans which has nothing to do with MLM) and I had a similar reaction. I commented on it and mentioned my feeling that there was likely some connection to MLM. The person who posted replied that she was shocked and saddened by my reaction and that she found it inspiring and couldn’t see where I got the idea it had anything to do with MLM. The parts I found the most troublesome were “a winner is just a loser who tried one more time”, “all you need is one person to say yes” and the very end “a year from now you will have wished you started today”. Winner/loser, positive/negative, black and white thinking and say yes to what? Started what? I tried to explain that it triggered alarms for me as someone who just went through losing a loved one because I wasn’t encouraging of his MLM endeavors but they didn’t understand. The very next morning my ex boyfriend of whom I speak posted the same video, confirming for me that even if there is no direct link to MLM this video couldn’t be more perfectly suited for keeping the MLM masses of victims slogging away in their misguided and futile endeavors.
