PS - but if you buy a boat, don’t register it at the Yacht Registry! Grin

Bovneydazzlers · 19/11/2017 15:12

Can anyone link to the top 10 leaderboard for FL?
(Even better a link to last year’s leaderboard too - I love reviewing declining MLM statistics). Already excited about seeing the reduced value cheques next April.

Teenageromance · 19/11/2017 16:30

No I think it means an unpaid tax bill and the person has no chance of paying so
HMRC close them down.

BSintolerant · 19/11/2017 16:32

HMRC takes an interest if someone drops the fraudster in the shit, often anonymously via the Revenue's website.

A number of people have ended up in court over the years because their ex-husbands, ex-wives, business partners, former friends, or family members have informed the Revenue of dodgy dealings out of revenge. The moral of that story is keep your nose clean and don't go into business with your family and friends.

Their phone system also works in mysterious ways.

Other than political imperative, I think that HMRC are motivated by ££££, ease - and FUN. Wink

ReformedBot · 19/11/2017 16:47

Pea it IS declining rapidly in the UK and I think the decline is gaining huge momentum now! These threads were instrumental in helping me deal with my feelings about leaving, its been a huge mental leap and its scary how much my initial reactions to situations can still instinctively be to add the person to my WDYKL!

SPONGE - your fictional FL bot story was almost like reading my own life! I never moved to another MLM though. Sponge you mentioned recent leaderboards? Where do you find these? Since the magazine changed in Summer I have not seen any official ones. I believe the decision to stop printing these leaderboards and promotions was made and the magazine re-launch just a way to hide this fact!

Forever Mag March 2015 vs March 2017 Supervisor Promotions

I chose May randomly. Supervisors are important as you + 2 supervisors brings you to a Manager promotion (the coveted --£2000 £1200 per month income).

Supervisor marks the first point of which you are now eligible for your team leading bonus (if you are 4cc active only).

cozietoesie · 19/11/2017 17:19

Reformed

Not a good idea to post those, I fear - they have names in which is something we have to avoid in these threads.

Spongebobette · 19/11/2017 17:20

So you still have to buy stuff to get your 4cc? And that's about 100 quid a month?

SUCH a clever system, in order to access your bonus from your downline you have to keep feeding money into the system. As do the bots beneath you.

Guess who wins this game?

ReformedBot · 19/11/2017 17:26

Thats right, to access your leadership bonus you have to be 4cc active and it is not at all uncommon to top up/buy in your CC. I would often buy £400 worth to access a £600 bonus. I then got it back with my bonus so I wasn't out of pocket as such but often I would have to borrow the £400 so only gained £200!!

You will see bots scrabbling around in the last week of the month pushing for sales to make up 4cc.

Ah yes the name thing. I understand!

ReformedBot · 19/11/2017 17:31

A lot of my uploads didnt actually upload. I will summarise

ReformedBot · 19/11/2017 17:48

Supervisor promotions as shown in magazines -

May 2014 - 231
May 2015 - 383
May 2016 - 253
May 2017 - 28

Since January 2014 where I have began my record =

Highest Supervisors Month

July 2015 - 959 Supervisors

Lowest Month (recorded up to May 2017)

April 2017 - 24 Supervisors

MANAGER PROMOTIONS

May 2014 - 15
May 2015 - 63
May 2016 - 15
May 2017 - 7

Since January 2014 where I have began my record =

Highest Month Manager Promos
July 2015 - 118

Lowest
March 2017 (followed by 3 in April and 7 in May.

Although months peaked and troughed by around 50 Supervisors each way, generally there was an incline throughout 2014 which gained massive momentum March - July 2015. Then a steady decline barring April - July 2016 which became a rapid decline Jan - May this year. (Quick analysis using Supervisor figures).

My first 'awakening' was seeing no Managers drop through in March 2017 and comparing my uplines success against those figures. This was when it first became clear that my struggle maybe was not all down to me...

ReformedBot · 19/11/2017 17:53

(I MISSED OUT THE BIG FAT ZERO ABOVE FOR 'Managers in March being the lowest month)

Castlebot may not be in those leader boards as she may not have sponsored that month. A business builder must sponsor in that month to be ranked.

Spongebobette · 19/11/2017 18:15

That's really interesting, thanks

By sponsor do you mean recruit?

ReformedBot · 19/11/2017 18:16

Yes :)

Sponsor = Recruit

DoratheExplorer17 · 19/11/2017 19:03

You're not allowed to get all of your 4CCs from recruiting. A minimum of 1CC had to be from sales. But as most bots use the products, because bots are encouraged to be a 'product if the products', it's not unusual to buy products yourself which are 1CC. If you are drinking the gel and using all the beauty products, bathroom stuff and make up, it's very easy to spend 1CC, which was about £160. So in reality, the majority of bots are buying the 1CC themselves as personal use, and the rest is from recruiting. So whoever it was who said the reps are the customers is absolutely right. 100% a pyramid scheme, but the 1CC rule is how they get round it. I've seen bots do trainings before boasting about how the get 2CCs a month, just by using all the products themselves. And they genuinely can't see how taken in they are!!! It's embarrassing!

OP posts:
Spongebobette · 19/11/2017 19:21

Can you get your 4ccs by just buying stock? How much would that cost you?

Spongebobette · 19/11/2017 19:27

...... Am wondering if there are newbies who end up spending money to get the 4ccs and to please their upline... But then after a few months just give up

cozietoesie · 19/11/2017 19:43

I’m sure there will be - just look at the MLM ‘churn rates’.

Spongebobette · 19/11/2017 19:56

I wish we could see figures for that but, surprisingly, they are not published.

Would Forever Living be required to respond to a FOI request?
