It was £22 for the old mascara and it was worth it. I've used lots of high end products and mascara has never impressed me like this one did. It's anyone's guess if the new formulation will be as good. Honestly I will criticise FLP for many, many things but the mascara was brilliant!

DoratheExplorer17 · 21/12/2017 21:56

I agree. I did love the mascara. I honestly don’t believe there was any issue with the batch. No reputable successful company would allow one of their only good products to go out of stock and let it be out of stock for TWO YEARS because of a bad batch. There was either a non compliance issue or they just couldn’t get anyone to make it. The FL volumes are incredibly small compared to big make up companies, so they probably just couldn’t get anyone to manufacture such small volumes at a price that would suit them. We all know that the higher the volume, the lower the price. My guess is that the manufacturers wanted a price that FL wouldn’t even consider so they’ve been holding out for someone who will. most companies would do absolutely anything to keep their customers supplied with a great product, because most companies know that the customer is what keeps the business running. FL don’t care about the customer. Because the customers are the distributors. So if they can’t sell you a mascara they expect you to buy something else in it’s place. They don’t care what you buy, as long as you buy your minimum 4CCs every month!

So interesting that the minimum order has been reduced to £30. My best guess is that bots hold onto orders for too long in order to meet the minimum order value which means their orders roll over the the next month. This way they make it easier for bots to hit a minimum order and will place it sooner. It’s just another very clever way to say ‘isn’t it amazing how we look after you and make it easier to achieve everything on the marketing plan’. When in reality, they are shitting it because bots are not placing enough orders! So transparent it’s ridiculous. And people are still sucked in, believing that the changes that FL make are for the distributors benefit 🙄🙄🙄

How much postage do they charge on the £30 order?

ReformedBot · 21/12/2017 22:10

The minimum order value only applies to product centres. I believe there are only 2 or 3 in the UK? The majority of FBOs won't benefit as most people order online where the minimum order is still £50! Agree with you Does but also think it's to encourage people to order less but more often. If you have £25 worth of orders it's much more feasible (and pyschologically make you think you are not spending much yourself ) to top it up a few times than one big order. I would have definitely ordered more regularly with a lower minimum because an odd tenner here and there was less noticeable than the £25+ needed if I received one order.

ReformedBot · 21/12/2017 22:11

At Product Centres there is no postage as you collect **entre.

entrepeneur · 21/12/2017 22:33

Thanks Reformedbot :)

DoratheExplorer17 · 21/12/2017 23:25

No it looks like it applies to every order. It says ‘contact our product centres or order line’ which suggests to me that it’s across the board. Still £6.99 (ish) for postage I think?

That message from Rex is terrible: "hey guys instead of working all hours (to makd me money) why not relax and give me more money my going to a forever resort." And they'll probably have to work while at the resort anyway because the business model doesn't allow for relaxing.

cozietoesie · 22/12/2017 00:29

What about fun. Spontaneity and all such good things? Smile

DoratheExplorer17 · 22/12/2017 09:16

It’s funny because they always bang on about the fact that ‘fun’ is a word in their mission statement. The trips are anything but fun. It’s just another time to be recruiting, taking pictures and videos for social media marketing. Every single excursion, ‘holiday’, party and social event is just another working day. I can tell you now that I work hard in my job, but we have so much fun at work too. We’re always putting on social events and we can just enjoy it for what it is. I have a lot more fun at work that I ever did in FL!

Anyone watching the crash of crypto currencies and waiting for the mad exodus from USI tech etc...

SSDGM · 22/12/2017 11:19

Ooh, is it crashing?

Bit worried not really about Brokebot. He seems to have gone AWOL. In fact, Organo bots all over have gone very very quiet about their massive opportunity.
I’m waiting to speak with a relative to find out what has happened to my Now Ex- Vida Bot. Looks like it’s all gone wrong there too.

I found an interesting video last night from an ex-Vida Rep who had been relentlessly bullied and ridiculed after breaking the news that Vida were trading illegally but she seems to have fallen down some bizarre rabbit hole since where her feed is full of positive Law of attraction bollocks but no real clue on what she’s flogging.

Tw1nsetAndPearls · 22/12/2017 11:30

I was just coming on to post that bitcoin is plummeting according to the Independent

Spongebobette · 22/12/2017 11:50

Ha ha one bot with big hair is saying it’s a great time to buy into crypto currency as the price is low

ArbunneHun · 22/12/2017 12:00

Yeah... low and getting lower!

ArbunneHun · 22/12/2017 12:12

Thing is, with the crypto bots it has never been about the value of the currencies but about being paid commission to bring people into the scheme. It’s disgraceful. People will lose so much money.

spanfan · 22/12/2017 13:21

Brokebot has hijacked another user. Judt as active as usual. Assume it's his gf page? Found it whilst lurking on a page for one of my fave bots, who I have named purplebot

cozietoesie · 22/12/2017 13:47

.... is saying it’s a great time to buy into crypto currency as the price is low....

Oh My. Sad

Tw1nsetAndPearls · 22/12/2017 14:10

How do I find brokebot. I knew that be wouldn't have gone quietly

fitgirl26 · 22/12/2017 14:36

Love the way that Wigbot and Sleazebot have reinvented themselves as the Crypto King and Queen. Whatever happened to the GCC Gurus? Personally I would be reluctant to take investment advice from someone who can't spell "paid" but I see they expect to be multimillionaires soon 🙄

cozietoesie · 22/12/2017 15:17

I seem to recall a Crypto MLM Page which actually made reference to the 'mine' that they had opened up in some spot off the beaten track and reassured people about the working conditions of the 'miners'. Trading on ignorance didn't even compare!

ArbunneHun · 22/12/2017 19:29

If Wigbot and Sleazebot are #cyptomillionares (their spelling, not mine), I will eat my #skinnylard.

cozietoesie · 22/12/2017 20:08

Even if they were, you'd have to ask yourself 'On the back of whom?'. People seem to imagine that money 'makes itself'. Instead - well - someone loses out, somewhere.

ArbunneHun · 22/12/2017 22:01

Oh, and Wig & Sleaze are ‘taking a break’ from GCC as they ‘Don’t like the management’. Wonder what they’re going to do with that 3D GCC printer that they spent £££££££ on and have never used? Has the scammy penny dropped?
