Could somebody let me know who maternity bot is?

Rumplelipskin · 20/12/2017 12:05

True her life may be out there for all to see, but by focusing on her pics, when they were posted, used before, hamster dying in her breast type post - what has that got to do with idealised MLM fakery?

Yes - focus on the industry, yes focus on the comp plans and bs claims, but to be fair I did not log on to see about how her dying hamster was affecting her downlines. If they chose to engage her with words of wisdom - then that's their shout. Not ours to make a mockery of.

Time and time again we go down the same path - if not the state of the floor in Brokebot's kitchen - then the possible burglary ruse of Salonbot!
Sometimes when we mock them, are we just doing it for enjoyment?

Eddierussett · 20/12/2017 12:24

I have to say I agree with rumplelipskin. I've been lurking since the start and commenting occasionally and I have struggled being interested in following the analysis of particular bots recently. I worry that someone stumbling across the threads wouldn't engage because it seems like coded gossip for those in the know.

Personally the most interesting post on here recently has been the one about the new forever club 50 and 75. I can't believe that you put all that work in and get a pin for the first level! Not to mention the fact that levelling up takes you from receiving vouchers back to getting a pin...
I'm curious to know whether this come from the US centre of the business sorry out of the UK leaders planning session ie: can the UK leaders come up with ideas that are adopted over the whole global business or are their ideas likely to have been just about how to promote and recruit in the UK?

SteelyEyes · 20/12/2017 12:24

I have to agree with Rumplelipskin, the focus needs to be on the MLM companies that allow and encourage their reps to sell and recruit in this cringeworthy way. Are Valentus really and truly compliant now? What's happening with Ariix? All seems v quiet on those fronts. How is the Maelle relaunch going?

Spongebobette · 20/12/2017 12:26

yes

I enjoy it too

😁

sparkleyes · 20/12/2017 12:59

Unfortunately all of these people know exactly what they are doing with their attraction marketing whether they excel at it and protray the perfect lifestyle or are completely shit at it they still draw people in with this carry on and they hand money over lining their pockets so yes we should call them out on the bullshit. It probs does get a tad personal at times and gives them ammunition to call bullying but you know what they are selling themselves they are encouraging other people to hand over cash to fund their lifestyles so yes these self styled "leaders" are just as corrupt and morally bankrupt as the organisations.

I saw on a cryptobots post she was asking for legal advice someone commented that with all the millions she was making she should be able to source top legal representation rather than asking the Facebook masses. I think people are fed up with the lies and the constant my life is so much better than yours that they are now starting to call them out on it. It shouldn't tip over to the personal but like celebs who choose to use their kids to hawk stuff and generate income unfortunately ehe. You put yourself in the public eye these things.

I don't think we should comment on personal appearance but then again if your selling a detox for well over £100 to people and saying your proof it works then people do have a right to point out perhaps it's not the best approach to weight loss based on their personal results.

I

sparkleyes · 20/12/2017 13:04

Sorry for laughing at the home decor posts I would love to have time to do lots of lovely home decor myself but you know I'm too busy running a real business that doesn't encourage people to hand over money for ridiculous priced goods. They are challenging them to sell the aloelips cos it's the most affordable thing they sell!!

Also how many shitty coffee moms can there be and if your business is based on lives constantly Calling out other people and jumping from company to company then frankly the utter ridiculousness of it needs to be pointed out.

People are being ripped off by these shysters

Annie65 · 20/12/2017 13:09

I have requested for my posts to be removed, sorry if it caused offence.

sparkleyes · 20/12/2017 13:19

Annie davina mcall regularly posts social media pics of herself in a bikini to sell her fitness dvds now I'm sure she gets both good and bad comments but she knows it comes with the territory's she is selling her DVD based on her results - no difference

SpecialAgentDaleCooper · 20/12/2017 13:28

but by focusing on her pics, when they were posted, used before, hamster dying in her breast type post - what has that got to do with idealised MLM fakery?

Looking at when the photos were from and used before has a lot to do with MLM fakery because the photos in question are misleading. They have been used as a before/after a C9 example when actually that's B.S.. The "before" picture was taken after the "after" photo IYSWIM.

It puts me in mind of big companies that get hauled up for similar misleading claims (e.g.. before/after mascara photos when the company had used false lashes on the model). If that's against trading law then so are bots boys flogging expensive cleanses

ReformedBot · 20/12/2017 13:28

To be fair I DO think some comments are a bit personal about one person's appearance. I for one only allow certain pics in Facebook and have seen very unflattering pictures of myself that I have not accepted the tagging on. That's not a bot thing it's a personal thing.

sparkleyes · 20/12/2017 13:47

Eddierusset the fl pin post was fascinating. All that revenue and you get a pin! Also the fact that if you move up a level you seem to lose the reward and start at zero again or just the pin!!

I would to see how that reward and recognition approach would go in a real company. Well joe you've smashed your target of 50cc and so you've lost your vouchers but here's a shiny new 75cc pin to keep you going for a few months until the vouchers kick in again.

Anyone know what value 50cc is?

FreeNiki · 20/12/2017 13:54

Had a huge laugh the other day. My MOM friend going on and on and on about being a full time mummy with no money worries suddenly stopped posting about her mlm.

Then there was a live video of her talking bullshit as she drove to work at night....in a bar.

MLM was really worth it to end up working nights in a bar with a 1 year old and a 5 year old.

FreeNiki · 20/12/2017 13:56

Fucking auto correct keeps correcting MLM to mom

Lizzilondon · 20/12/2017 14:07

Apparently Valentus have 1 coffee approved!!
Some of the bots have received a Christmas card with a $100 note inside, hand written by the CEO. Now he is a 'man of love and integrity'
Very clever of him, now they're all posting on facebook what a great company it is. Hope they're declaring it to the taxman.
No sign of salonbot getting one. I don't know if she's still with Vaentus as it just says she's a mentor now. Does anybody else know?

Rumplelipskin · 20/12/2017 14:07

Shows though that she is prepared to throw down for her kids - even if it working in a bar, her munchkins get xmas presents this year by hook or by crook!

Rumplelipskin · 20/12/2017 14:09

Valentus will disappear within the year!.... very poor - running a business based on contents that cannot be truly identified!!!

FreeNiki · 20/12/2017 14:12

Shows though that she is prepared to throw down for her kids - even if it working in a bar, her munchkins get xmas presents this year by hook or by crook!

Or more worrying, they bought a new house and a new car whilst on the mlm koolaid. Perhaps they are struggling to pay the house.

Toobusytowee · 20/12/2017 14:56

I am pleased to be able to let you all know that a new coalition has been formed between a few different anti-MLM people, including Bot watch and Elle Beau, among others. We have a nice new website and Facebook page. We are aiming for it to be a resource full of information and advice for people seeking information or help about MLMs.

Come and visit us and have a look around. antimlmwriters.com

Tw1nsetAndPearls · 20/12/2017 15:42

@Toobusytowee that Anne Summers story is both sad and very funny

cozietoesie · 20/12/2017 16:11

Oh Well Done, Toobusy. Thanks to all. Smile

sparkleyes · 20/12/2017 18:21

That's fab toobusy some great info out there now for people to be directed to!

fitgirl26 · 20/12/2017 20:21

Just "liked" the page @Toobusytowee - plenty of reading to be getting on with! Well done 😊

CurlsandCurves · 20/12/2017 21:35

Awsome, @toobusy good work!

BSintolerant · 20/12/2017 21:38

Toobusy your coalition is a force to be reckoned with. Grin

On the subject of certain bots who push C9s on their downlines, not to mention the collection of other so-called health supplements, why should we not call BS? Would you take health and nutrition advice from a nurse with Hattie Jacques' figure? I wouldn't take any health and nutrition advice from a bot under any circumstances whether they look like they've caused a famine or have the figure of an athlete.
