Do you mean with multi accounting?

cheesemongery · 15/09/2018 16:18

Well I went for it this morning... my only problem is that my horse blummin won!! So I don't have the funds in my betfair account. I've withdrawn the winnings from Coral, but have to wait until Tuesday for the funds back. I have a profit of £13.85 for first go so I'm happy with that, just about to sign up for Betfred where I think I'll just stick to the football, less complicated!

cheesemongery · 15/09/2018 16:25

Actually miscalculated, I'm £17.37 up - happy with that Grin.

crazyhouse123 · 15/09/2018 17:37

cheesemongery it is good isn't it?! But a pain when the bet wins at the bookies, or certainly in the early days when you want that money in the exchange! Waiting for money from William Hill at the moment. Planning on trying to put some extra time in next week and get through more offers.

cheesemongery · 15/09/2018 18:11

Hi crazyhouse I could very easily become addicted! I've just signed up to the Betfred £30 offer. I near wet myself after placing my first bets as I don't really have £50 to lose, but it all worked out - well apart from my horse winning (I've never picked a winner in my life!) Stupid nag Grin.

Ooh will look at William Hill next - this is great

MrsSteveMcDonald · 15/09/2018 18:26

Smarkets have just cancelled one of my bets. I've already placed the other side of it with paddy power, what do I do now?

crazyhouse123 · 15/09/2018 19:00

Hi MrsSteveMcDonald did they give you a reason? Was it unmatched? I haven't used smarkets yet, but I had a bet cancelled last week when the racing was cancelled, but the opposing back bet was also cancelled.

crazyhouse123 · 15/09/2018 19:02

Hi cheesemongery I know what you mean I was the same! Bet more this week then I have in my life before, but I am up in cash! Had lots of free bets with William Hill this week which has been great!

MrsSteveMcDonald · 15/09/2018 19:13

It was unmatched :(

thenightsky · 15/09/2018 20:24

Marking place as I'm trying to get into this. Just working my way through all the jargon explanations and vidoes on Profit accumulator.

champagneplanet · 15/09/2018 22:39

£75,000 is unreal, well done Vandrew 👏🏻

How long have you been doing this? Did you have a one off big win that contributed to that figure or was it just time and effort?

I'd also been interested to hear about how to avoid being gubbed. I started MBing earlier this year, have just picked it up again and Coral have emailed to say I am no longer eligible for offers and Betway have blocked my account and that can't be reversed apparently, i'd only used the accounts once. I've just spent an hour logging in to the others ones i've previously signed up for and updated my notification preferences to make sure i'm getting offers through.

crazyhouse123 · 16/09/2018 08:40

MrsSteveMcDonald when is the bet for? I don't know if I can help, you might need one of the more experienced on here!

cheesemongery · 16/09/2018 09:30

Morning all, I hope you get sorted MrsSteveMcDonald - I guess you may still win!

I've signed up to William Hill this morning and I'm now confused about the calculator - I only have the one on the PA site and it's only showing /betfred and Coral... Am I being thick, maybe I've ventured to far into the depths of MB on day 2 Grin

champagneplanet · 16/09/2018 09:31

Cheesemongery have you signed up for full access on PA?

cheesemongery · 16/09/2018 09:45

No, I'll have a look now, I think they have an offer on... hopefully! Thanks.

cheesemongery · 16/09/2018 09:55

Got it - thank you!

cheesemongery · 16/09/2018 11:55

Sorry - me again! I think I've made a mistake. I put a bet on a football match for a win, then the exchange to lose... it's currently a draw. I'm really worried I will lose on both sides - can I use the cashout option if needs be, even though profit will be minimum. I don't want to lose everything from the exchange account.

cheesemongery · 16/09/2018 11:57

In fact as it is a trigger bet, am I best to cash out anyway and get a few pence profit rather than a loss just to get the £30 free bets?

cheesemongery · 16/09/2018 12:01

Oh well I did it anyway, maybe they will even win on WH!

mamahanji · 16/09/2018 12:18

I don't want to be a stick in the mud, but anyone looking into multi accounting needs to know that is is fraud. Doesn't mean that a lot of people don't do it to make a lot of money. But it is.

cheesemongery · 16/09/2018 12:21

is that aimed at me mamahanji? If so I don't even know what multi accounting is. If not ignore me Grin oh it's all got too stressful!

mamahanji · 16/09/2018 12:25

No cheeseburger not at all! It's not aimed at anyone. I just think it's important people know that matched betting is legal, but placing bets using other peoples accounts and pretending to be them, is fraud. Annoying as I have lots of family that would let me do it, but I've known people that have been done by cyber crime for it.

cheesemongery · 16/09/2018 12:36

Ah I see what you are saying now reading further up.

I shouldn't have cashed out - lesson learned! No idea what balances will be now as it's saying I have 3 matched bets on Betfair for this one game. I think I'll stick to the nags!

mamahanji · 16/09/2018 12:42

Cheeseburger

If it ends in a draw, then the team has lost so the exchange will win

mamahanji · 16/09/2018 12:44

Sorry I clearly have burgers in my head. I read your name as cheeseburger 😂😂
