What are reload offers? are they the bet 25 and get a 5 freebet, for example.
Titchy mentioned 2 up, 2 down
I see people talking on forums about arbing (not sure if it is a good or bad thing).
I also see people talking a lot accumulators or boosts, not sure how you would make money from these.
I'm trying to learn the different types of football bets but sometimes i can't find the ones i need on the sites? for example is there a way of laying whether a player will score.

mamahanji · 24/08/2018 15:30

By order of your questions

Reload offers are offers after the original sign up offer. So just like you said 'bet £25 get £5 freebet' that's a reload.

2up is a Horse race offer where you back and lay a horse and if it wins by 2 clear lengths, you get 15% of the winnings extra as a freebet

Arbing is bad unless you are gubbed (banned) from a bookies. It is when the back odds at the bookies are higher than the exchange lay odds so a standard bet makes you profit. Bookies track the exchange odds so they can see you taking arbs!

You can pretty much lay anything football wise except customs 'build a bets'.

Boosts are usually £1-£5 profit. Accas are less profitable this year. £2 per Acca at best.

Thanks mamahanji this is so helpful.
I'm in awe of the 2k a month, that's amazing. Our landlord has announced yesterday that he is putting up the rent by €400 a month so am hoping i can make this up by matched betting to keep the roof over our heads until I finish my training and get a job.

mamahanji · 24/08/2018 16:11

Are you on the Team Profit Facebook group?

£400 is completely doable with an hour a day.

qazxc · 24/08/2018 23:32

I'm on profit accumulator started last week and am around €90 up (live in ireland).
I'll look up Team profit, thank you.

Gammeldragz · 25/08/2018 09:49

Back from holiday and need to get back to this. Still got my money stuck with Comeon, they want id, proof of address, bank statement and credit card copy!

qazxc · 25/08/2018 12:31

I have a gubbing question. Do you only need to worry about it if you are winning with a bookie or do you need to appear like a mug punter at all times.

mamahanji · 25/08/2018 13:42

It has nothing to do with winning. Yes winning a very large amount will flag up.

But betting on anything obscure, think Croatian league 2 or Chinese under 21 soccer.

foggydown · 25/08/2018 16:18

I've been match betting a while.
Now looking at betfair trading, has anyone tried doing it?

Eastisup · 27/08/2018 14:25

I've got a question if anyone is around?
Is it a good idea to open a dedicated Quidco account to link to my new dedicated bank account....and then possibly linking new paypal account etc?
I'm trying to keep everything separate!

Gammeldragz · 27/08/2018 18:07

I can't see that a separate quidco account would be necessary if you already have one. I have only managed to get one of my sign ups to track through quidco, most either don't count if you use a welcome bonus or there is no cashback available. I just consider it a happy bonus if I get some and don't count it in my profit.

Gammeldragz · 27/08/2018 18:09

Finally got my Comeon account sorted and have managed to withdraw my money! Done a new sign up today so hopefully will have a £30 free bet tomorrow.

Eastisup · 28/08/2018 16:14

Thanks Gammeldragz :)

qazxc · 31/08/2018 19:16

siesta I'm in Ireland and while some of the bookies are UK only there are still a lot of offers available.

Eastisup · 02/09/2018 14:42

Hi, a quick question if anyone is around!
Just completed my first sign up(skybet) and used the free bet on a horse race...horse has won so Im up at the bookies.
So, should I use these winnings to continue backing/laying through skybet or withdraw the winnings to put into the exchange and go to the next free sign up?
TIA!

Gammeldragz · 02/09/2018 17:10

There's nothing to gain there now so withdraw and move on.

I'm up to over £300 profit now, just done the Bet365 offer, split the 100 free bet into two as I couldn't afford liability on 100.

titchy · 02/09/2018 17:22

It's up to you. Sky are good for reload offers so you might want to keep your winnings there for the next offer. On the other hand if your exchange is depleted and you need the money out in order to deposit them do that.

Eastisup · 02/09/2018 17:26

Brilliant, thanks Gammeldragz, I though so but just wanted someone else to confirm!!

Have withdrawn now so when money transfers in a day or so,will start the next offer!

Great profits already for you! I will have to split bets I think too, to manage the liability. Thanks for the response :)

Eastisup · 02/09/2018 17:29

Thanks Titchy,
I've left a bit in there, so maybe I'll get a reload offer?
I needed to deposit in the exchange though so had to withdraw most winnings.
Thanks for the advice! :)

user1486472583 · 02/09/2018 21:15

I have been doing matched betting for a year (with breaks). I don't know why but my income has dropped right off since the world cup when I was averaging about £500 per month. I am trying the 2ups and 2clear but not hitting much with my bank (about £1000). I have had to take money out for house repairs etc etc. so I haven't built up a larger pot. I do the William Hill 12 o clock boost and the bet clubs but not quite sure what has changed. Do you think there are less boosts? Less offers?
I am dithering about doing the casinos because each time I have tried, I have lost money. I do the low risk (stake £10 for 10 free spins) etc. sometimes but haven't won overall and mostly its eating into an already low income from the sports.
Any tips for re-starting?

LunaDeet · 03/09/2018 07:30

User I’d recommend logging into all of your accounts, and maybe placing a few mug bets with the bigger accounts so that you start getting reload offers again. Then watch your emails and things should get moving again for you. Coral, Sky and PP bet clubs are easy money every week, and WH has Scratch of the Day Saturday and Sunday which usually includes a free bet.

I am by no means an expert at matched betting and usually stick to football, but last week I made £100! My best week yet, and I’ll be happy if I can keep it up.

Gammer I’m thinking about doing Bet365 this week. Can I ask, do you have to place the whole £100 as one trigger bet? Or could I deposit £100 and make two £50 trigger bets? I think I can but it isn’t crystal clear from the t’s and c’s.

International friendlies this week, I wonder if they’ll be any decent offers.

Gammeldragz · 03/09/2018 14:29

I thought the first 100 had to be all at once. But liability isn't too bad as its lower odds, I think 2.0 so liability around £200. The free bet needs to be higher odds to maximise profit so I was looking at £400+ for 100 bet or £200 ish for a 50 bet.

LunaDeet · 03/09/2018 16:55

Thank you! It’s not necessarily the liability, but the confidence to place a bet so big. If I can do it in two £50’s I’ll feel better. Hopefully in a year or so I’ll be placing £300 stakes on 2ups and laugh at how green I was. It’s all real money after all, although it’s so easy to see it as a numbers game after a while.

rhubarb39 · 06/09/2018 11:26

Hi guys thought I'd jump on as have been looking knot this for a few weeks. Pretty sure I get the gist and am going to start my sign ups next week.
However a couple of questions that some of you more experienced may be able to help with please.

Before I sign up should I go through the cash back site I use? Are there any downsides that affect doing it?

Do you all use a seperate email account T?

Thank you

SeventyNineBottlesOfWine · 07/09/2018 19:55

I went through cash back sites for some of the offers but not all.
Sometimes the cash back site takes you to an offer page which is completely different and you can't pick up on the promotion you'd otherwise be entitled to.
As long as the cashback site takes you to the same welcome bonus then yes, go for it.
