About a quid for a reasonable run number

TFPsa · 10/09/2017 10:27

from a few days back (apologies i already posted), some first rate FB weight loss boasting by an ex FL, now [whatever] bot.

highlights:

A) given that the total weight remains roughly constant at c 100kg (i.e. nudging towards 16st), this is plainly a reading for a man, not the average-sized woman claiming it for her own;

B) nonsense from a scientific perspective, what's with the muscle/water/fat split, what about, y'know, skeleton, must weight several kilos on its own?;

C) the maths, those percentage changes she's worked out for herself are plainly a nonsense.

Eek.

fitgirl26 · 10/09/2017 14:40

Hmm - wonder how she measured this so accurately...

SpinDry · 10/09/2017 15:18

Ive NC since I last posted but highstreethoneybot is on an email message subscription I am on for local business and today she is back flogging Ariix shite. Not sure if this is new news or not but she is relentless, pissing off the network I belong to with first her illegal coffee crap and now these Ariix products.

MrsGotobed · 10/09/2017 17:41

I think bots piss off local business networks nationwide SpinDry.

My FL bot used to pop up at our town business networking meetings all the time. Surely they must realise that (a) "their" business isn't a real business and (b) it isn't even theirs. Everyone else involved has legitimate businesses that they have set up and run and worked hard at (independent gift shops, accountancy businesses, hairdressing and beauty salons, independent cafes and coffee shops etc) ... she used to appear with her planner and play at being a business owner. Hmm

SSDGM · 10/09/2017 19:29

Lipbot has made her FB all private.. suddenly no mentions of binary (TWO! TWO!) or trainings or hair flicking or anything....

SSDGM · 10/09/2017 19:40

Also her boyfriend is "test driving" test driving one doesn't mean you are buying it, manhun! A brand new Porsche Carerra because of Xerveo, he's been with them a month. Fuck me. They're as bad a Salon and her husband. Actually makes me feel a bit sick.

notactuallyamum1 · 11/09/2017 04:02

I've followed these threads for a few months because I love knowing that other people find bots amazing but I've never had anything of real value to add... UNTIL TODAY!

I'm currently in America and I went to a street fair/carnival type thing with craft booths and what not. It was when I was browsing I saw a Forever Living Stand!

It tickled me and I wanted to share!

fitgirl26 · 11/09/2017 06:35

Yes I saw that SSDGM - they retail from £95K.

BSintolerant · 11/09/2017 06:46

Notactuallyamum1 - I hope you're not traumatised by your encounter with a Forever Fibbing stall. Did anyone offer you a free shot of aloe jizz?

SSDGM they're so full of shit it's unreal. Let's hope their followers wake up.

BSintolerant · 11/09/2017 06:55

How many bots in are bankrupt, subject to IVAs or other orders as s result of living beyond their means because success is just around the corner?

The depressing fact is that if shillbots encourage their followers to fake it 'til they make it, there's a good chance their downlines will end up financially up shit creek and will be listed on the Insolvency Register. www.insolvencydirect.bis.gov.uk/eiir/

Wake up!

MrsGotobed · 11/09/2017 08:57

I see MrYawnBot is going to be full on recruiting and starting his own team now rather than just being in the background.

Indicative of how important recruitment is (even for top shill bots) and how they really have to do the sign ups to get the CCs to keep it going??

Spongebobette · 11/09/2017 11:20

I thought they were a double act? Interesting. Must recruit recruit recruit!!!

Moose23IsHungry · 11/09/2017 11:22

Stokebot better watch out! Yawnbotshusband is ready to take on the world of men who all want to be a #boyboss, slurp aloe and diet on c9s. They won't have money for skinny coffee too!

darceybussell · 11/09/2017 11:30

There must be a reason for setting up your spouse as a distributor after doing it together. Is it just to get the ccs from a new business in a box? Or can you shift people under them to get them to manager and then shove yourself up a promotion at the same time?

Barnbot must know - maybe when she's along she can explain it to us.

PlaydoughGirl · 11/09/2017 13:01

Hi folks. I'm a mostly lurker who popped up in thread 21 when my DSis became a jewellery bot with an MLM I've not seen mentioned anywhere in the threads - we are in Australia, so it might be a more local one.
I'd like to say she's come out the other side, but sadly it's just gotten worse. She's now simultaneously a member of 3 separate MLMs - jewellery, Arbonne, and tooth-whitening toothpaste, although the jewellery does seem to have taken a backseat. Last month, she asked family and friends to donate money to a charity called 'Nourish the Children' by buying bags of Vitameal. I never replied as my scam-radar was tingling. I've just gotten up the energy to google, and it seems Nourish The Children is part of Nu-Skin, and equally scam-worthy as everything else she's involved in!!

cozietoesie · 11/09/2017 13:16

I'm so sorry. It's a hack of a fine line that you'll have to tread: you should never enable - e.g. by buying stuff - but equally, it's probably counter-productive to condemn because that might well have the effect of driving the nail in deeper. You pretty well have to 'grit it out'.

Does she have a family? And how is she making out financially?

PlaydoughGirl · 11/09/2017 13:33

I never ever buy stuff, and lately I've stopped even politely replying and making excuses. She's never mentioned it when we've caught up IRL, so I think she is aware of my feelings about it, although I've never said anything outright.
She's a single mum, with a part-time professional job. I've never asked how she is going financially - I'm just not brave enough to have any kind of conversation at all about it!! She doesn't seem to be over-spending, so that's promising. No conspicuous over-consumption or white cars! Her FB and Instagram feeds are unrecognisable though - just endless mindset nonsense, affirmations and positive thinking memes. It's so boring and fake!

cozietoesie · 11/09/2017 14:31

It's boring and fake, Yes. It's also hard on you and her other friends and relatives.

Botwatchblog have written various pieces on this and similar situations. You might do worse than read How to help someone in an MLM including the links. (And come on here to yell if you need to. Wink)

Dillite2 · 11/09/2017 14:52

Do you remember my Forever Living bot I mentioned having gained? Well, she seems to be really keen to have me as a customer. Last night I found a card offering 20% off toothpaste to celebrate my birthday. I feel so blessed at her generosity!

cozietoesie · 11/09/2017 15:11

How did she find out when your birthday was? Smile

Dillite2 · 11/09/2017 17:08

I have no idea! She said that I told her but I know I hadn't because I'm not someone who tells people when my birthday is. Perhaps DD mentioned it but otherwise I haven't a clue. She does work for the council, so perhaps she looked me up on the system? They ask for your details when you register to vote.

Spongebobette · 11/09/2017 18:02

That would be a breach of data protection and a stackable offence

Spongebobette · 11/09/2017 18:02

*stackable

Lol!
