Books are a GOOD, WHOLESOME, PRETTY thing after all. Just perfect for on-selling to e.g. Aunties and Grannies for future Xmas and birthday presents for kids. Grin

(Have a look at the firm's financials and work out how they managed to turn the company's fortunes around so fast in a declining market for their product. Wink)

Eddierussett · 24/09/2017 15:09

I think their wholesomeness makes them one of the more insidious companies to argue against - after all how can you object to a mum doing her best to make a living and to books for children?!? What kind of a monster are you...

Fortunately, the lady in question has never been inside my house to know that I own hundreds of books (including usborne) otherwise I suspect I would be a number one target!

spanfan · 24/09/2017 15:53

Just seen highstreethoneys hub has made her a rather fancy breakfast in bed. If that's real I will eat my hat. 😂😂😂😂 I bet she got some weetabix like me. 😎😎😎😀😀

spanfan · 24/09/2017 15:54

Yup. Just found I on Google. 😂😂😂😂

ScarlettOH · 24/09/2017 16:09

spanfan who is this person? Can’t find her!

ScarlettOH · 24/09/2017 16:10

Ps anyone else hear high street honey and think of that lads mag campaign years ago...?

SSDGM · 24/09/2017 18:33

She was part of it, Scarlett

ScarlettOH · 24/09/2017 18:52

Ohhh I see! Haha

SSDGM · 24/09/2017 19:15

Anyone else seen the live where Salon admits Valentus' products are illegal? First time those words have come out of her gob.

dillite · 24/09/2017 19:25

Could someone please explain to me what the hell does this post mean?
"🔥ANNOUNCEMENT FOR CUSTOMERS🔥
It is now free to get 15-30% off our amazing product lines!!!😍
I will be posting a video every other day about one of our incredible products!!! 💻 🎥
It used to cost £16.49 but now it's 🆓 from October 1st until the end of the year so get your orders in!! 📦"

Why would it be free to get a discount? Or perhaps, why did customers have to pay for the discounts until this promo? Or am I being super thick?

Jonsey32 · 24/09/2017 21:07

SSDGM
Ooooh where did u find that?

cozietoesie · 24/09/2017 21:24

I don't understand that post.

I wonder whether the poster did either?

dillite · 24/09/2017 21:29

It's on a woman's page that lives in Cornwall and has a sausage dog and a holiday let business? I think it's who you call High Street Bot? I remember reading about her in the Fail when TS clamped down on Valentus.

cozietoesie · 24/09/2017 21:43

Maybe it's deliberately confused so that people contact her for clarification - and are then snared. Or maybe we're all supposed to 'knee jerk' when we see the word f.r.e.e. (And ditto.)

Toobusytowee · 24/09/2017 22:40

I think I might know what that mysterious post means. Is it for Ariix?

Toobusytowee · 24/09/2017 22:55

If that message was about Ariix, it is for products that 'have higher levels of ingredients than UK legislation likes'. It means bots are not allowed to sell it legally but they reckon customers can buy direct from Ariix as it is for personal use. Products bought this way are exempt from a £16.49 fee.

Have a look at this post where there is a screenshot from an Ariix bot about it. botwatch.blog/2017/09/20/product-warnings/

OhOhDearling · 24/09/2017 23:28

Shock so it's a breathtakingly cynical attempt to get round that pesky issue of legality then.

Toobusytowee · 24/09/2017 23:53

yup. No mention of the reason for the discount in the original advert then? You'd expect more from a bot that got in trouble selling illegal products before.

cozietoesie · 25/09/2017 00:21

Gosh, Toobusy.

And Yes. I'm surprised she's dipping her toes in those waters yet again.

Dillite2 · 25/09/2017 00:47

Sorry, just realised that only half of the post was copied- I was watching the x-factor at the same time. Yes, it's ariiiix. What is the £16.49 fee for? Also, she is advertising some weight loss drops on her page, presumably they are also illegal in the UK?

Here's the post in full.

fitgirl26 · 25/09/2017 07:24

I don’t get it? All products are licensed and registered but some have “higher levels of ingredients than UK legislation likes”? So are they legal or not?

OhOhDearling · 25/09/2017 07:48

also "regular" customer sounds a little less like a commitment than "autoship" doesn't it Angry

spanfan · 25/09/2017 09:38

I'm angry people.

Last night I had my weekly catch up/stalk of mlmers. Yawn-tacky-thatchbot posted on Saturday asking people to buy her teeth gel... To support breast cancer awareness..
