I lasted a few months. as did my DH, and my MIL, and me under my maiden name! signing the cat up next!

Strawberry, did you have any problems having your husband signing up for accounts and getting offers? Other people at my address would like to do this but lots of bookies say only one per household.

Ooh ladbrokes have a nice one - place £20 after 8am tomorrow on the 2.30 Ascot, get a free £10 on the 3.05, AND get a free £5 for each of the the next four days.

And skybet have a risk free £20 for the first race of every day at Ascot - so that should net 5 days at £14 profit so £65.

It's a shame the odds are so pants at the minute on sky! I can't get anything near £14 guaranteed profit!

You should get nearly £12 though - and it is free! Maybe check the exchange odds nearer the time for a bit more?

I'm really going to struggle to keep up with all these Ascot offers!

You say around £14 guaranteed profit from the Sky £20 risk free bet titchy, but I've just run some numbers through the Oddsmonkey calculator in risk free mode and come up with £4 profit. That's with back odds of 7 and lay odds of 7.8 (I was going to delay laying in the hope the odds dropped).

Ignore the fact it says Stan James and Smarkets btw. I just picked a random result on the Oddsmatcher and changed the values.

You need to change the free bet amount to £20 I think titchy as it's only 10?

The sky one is up to £20 back not £10. I got better back odds but this is what the OM calc says (£12 profit):

i've used up all my liability in betfair doing the ascot stuff today so hopefully it all goes back in there.

I've got £20 on via skybet using the equal profit calc so should come out with approx £10 (memory rubbish)
£20 on via ladbrokes should get me £5 free bet for the next 4 days and also got me free £10 bet placed on the later race

Nothing left in exchange to do any of the other offers.

At least I will have earned back my oddsmonkey subscription anyway

Thanks titchy, I didn't even notice the bit in the Oddsmonkey calculator that had the risk free bet set to £10. I knew I'd gone wrong somewhere - just needed a fresh pair of eyes

I think some of you are getting an offer from
Ladbrokes that I'm not - what's this about a £5 free bet for four days? I've done the offer where you bet £20 on the 14.30 and get £10 for the 15.05.

I'm having to stagger my lay bets and hope the money doesn't all fly out to the bookies.

Using Strawberry's method of backing not laying for an Ascot race where they pay out if it comes 2nd/3rd/4th. (I reckon she's the one who's made the most out of this on this thread so I'll try it as a strategy! )

HeyRoly you should also get the free bets daily now to place on the first race each day, Copied details below from oddsmonkey. I placed one bet of £20 and got my £10 free bet for the next race plus am also expecting the free bets each day now.

Hmmm following Strawberry's strategy seems to have backfired on me. I backed a horse which came third. I was under the impression that if it came 2nd/3rd/4th I should get my money back as a free bet. This hasn't happened....

What am I doing wrong?

Did it come in to the SP favourite? Sometimes this is a requirement.

I've only been matched betting for 9 days so I had a cautious go on Ascot using some guides. Didn't work out very well for me, I made a bit on the Ladbrokes free bet but the other bets were refund/free bet if horse loses, and they won. So now I have money at the bookies rather than the exchange gah! Not sure I am doing this right, I am a bit put off betting on Ascot again tomorrow.

Any pointers for guaranteed profits tomorrow are very welcome

The thing about the "free bet of horse comes 2/3/4" is it's kind of a question of luck. I backed the third favourite today and it came second, and then I backed a second favourite and the bugger came sixth

It's annoying when all of your money goes from the exchange to the bookies. Happened to me when I backed a horse with odds of 19!

So, you're not doing it wrong.

I've made about £40 today from not too much effort. Tbh I rather enjoy the process too of finding the best odds etc. Better hobby than just sitting in front of the TV!

I made about £35 today. Aiming for £75 in total this week so that's looking good at the minute.
