I've finally had a big win on the slots! I'm doing the Starspins offer, and was looking at a £17 profit (which is still decent, obviously). But I decided to blow some of my bonus money in the hope of hitting big on Gonzo's Quest. Worst case scenario was I ended up withdrawing the same amount I'd deposited. Made £69 on a bonus round and £17 profit is now £77 profit Grin

louisejxxx · 05/06/2017 21:29

Yay, well done Roly! I did the first day of star spins today - only won £1 so -£4 so far.

HeyRoly · 05/06/2017 21:48

You're spending £5 a day for three days to get more bonus money, right? And you got an initial £20 bonus?

louisejxxx · 05/06/2017 22:12

Yup!

louisejxxx · 05/06/2017 23:07

I've now had a positive evening too - £30 cleared in my account from xfactor games today from my 27 sign up free spins so I decided to do a couple of casino offers...ended up being just under £20 up for the evening Grin

OverthinkingSpartacus · 06/06/2017 00:28

Casino offers haven't been good to me as they have been for the last week or so, nothing from vegas 20/20 spins, sod all from the paddy power spins, not much luck in the daily will Hill thing either, currently working through wagering on the coral jackpot giant offer and also waiting for roulette refund for sky casino. I'm not complaining as I've made a good chunk from them since starting this. I'm still easily hitting my £50 a week profit target so I'm pleased.
Going to do the dragon bingo loophole on bingo next.

HeyRoly · 06/06/2017 07:37

Casino offers usually aren't good to me at all. I had a £5 bonus from 888 and played Blackjack using the Oddsmonkey strategy. The dealer never went bust and I lost every hand.

The PP free spins earned me £2 and the William Hill daily thing has been zilch so far.

Haven't done any of the bingo offers yet. Mainly because you need to do it in the afternoon and I usually have a screaming two year old hanging off me at that time of day.

SierraJensen · 06/06/2017 10:10

HeyRoly you might be able to do the bingo offers by pre-buying - that's what I do (although my 2 year old actually takes a fairly long afternoon nap!)

FreckledLeopard · 06/06/2017 12:31

Ok, getting more to grips with all this. Have now got my £30 Betfred free bet so need to select something to bet on. I know that PA and Oddsmonkey have premium services to members (where you can see what to bet on, rather than having to find the matches etc yourself). I don't particularly want to start paying monthly memberships yet though and have come across www.freebets4all.com which seems to offer Automatcher for free. Does anyone else use this? It looks pretty good!

HeyRoly · 06/06/2017 16:48

Well I managed to do Cheeky Bingo during nap time Wink I joined and got £10, deposited £10 and got another £30. Spent it all on tickets and waited. My balance showed £4.80 quite quickly and then nothing. I thought I'd made a loss until I checked again and it was £55. Result!

louisejxxx · 06/06/2017 18:54

Can someone explain how you do the bingo in dummy terms please? Do you just spend all your money on as many tickets as poss all in one go?

HeyRoly · 06/06/2017 20:07

That's it. The idea being if your cash and bonus balances are zero (or as close to zero as poss) then any winnings go straight into your cash balance and can be withdrawn without needing to be wagered.

HeyRoly · 06/06/2017 20:13

Forgot to mention you should play between 1-4pm when it's quiet and your chances of winning are better.

FiveHoursSleep · 07/06/2017 08:04

Gubbed by sunbets! It made me a bit sick to be clicking on any Sun link anyhow..

LemonadeWithACherry · 07/06/2017 10:55

Just signing up to Quidco before signing up to bookies - what account should I get? The free one or the premium?

I've never used spreadsheets. Which ones do people use? Are there some already set up or do I have to do it myself?

I can't wait to get started but all the reading about it gives me a stress headache! I wish I had someone next to me showing me what to do instead.

Maff17 · 07/06/2017 11:16

Hi there. I work for a major matched betting services and know quite a bit about it, if anyone has any questions.

Thanks!

James

OverthinkingSpartacus · 07/06/2017 12:23

@Maff17
Just a heads up, your post may not last. MN have deleted posts similar to yours over the various threads. Staff from various matched betting companies have joined MN to post in the threads offering help, advice on their services, with some also requesting feedback.

Personally it doesn't bother me but can see why MN delete them as it comes across as promotion and recruitment. If MN didn't delete we would have had at least four staff members from four different paid matched betting services offering 'advise'.

I know it all sounds helpful, but at best, any advice given will be biased towards their own sites, at worse, the people posting from matchbetting companies have seen the MN discussion, joined up and posted with the intention of gaining customers for their own sites.

Not saying that you personally have only joined to post on this thread only, I don't search peoples posting history and you could be a longstanding MNer, but just giving you a heads up that your post may get deleted like others have.

Maff17 · 07/06/2017 12:33

@OverthinkingSpartacus
Hey, thanks for the heads-up. I have actually already been made aware of the etiquette and know I can't been seen to promote any one site.
Hopefully I can offer some impartial advice on matched betting generally without getting kicked off!

Thanks again

GardeningWithDynamite · 07/06/2017 16:11

@FiveHoursSleep - I got an email this morning too.... However, I've just had another one saying it was a mistake?!?

Maff17 · 07/06/2017 16:17

@FiveHoursSleep @GardeningWithDynamite

Sorry to eavesdrop - it appears SunBets gubbed many users this morning and are now un-gubbing many this afternoon!

louisejxxx · 07/06/2017 17:22

Same happened to me too - there seems to be a fair few of us (all of whom used the codes?)...I can only imagine that they found out someone leaked the codes and so felt they'd been a bit harsh?

HeyRoly · 07/06/2017 18:32

I so wanted to do another bingo site today but decided against it. Most of them seem to be powered by Bingosys and I figured I'll get gubbed if I join too many at once.

FiveHoursSleep · 07/06/2017 20:49

Yes, I've been ungubbed too. As people are saying, they probably had no customers left!

FreckledLeopard · 08/06/2017 09:19

I'm SO cross with myself. All was going well with working my way through the free bets. Signed up with William Hill last night, laid bet, did back bet on Betfair, all fine....wondered why I didn't have free bets in my account. Realised I'd managed to bet at under the minimum odds (1.3 instead of 1.5). I'm such a twat. So cross. Oh well.....hoping will get some free bets in the future from them.
