As the last thread is almost full, here is a nice fresh clean one.

In a nutshell, matched betting is a clever way of making ££££ from the bookies without ever having to gamble.

This is profit accumulator

This is odds monkey

I am having a breather from the sign ups while I wait for the card for my new bank account to arrive but also doing a bit of mug betting, reading the forums and checking out the odds for some of the reload offers that come up. I've done the qualifying bets for this week's SkyBet club and CoralBet club as I had money in those accounts anyway. Should get £3 for each which covers the PA fees. Also managed to get in on a SkyBet Crowd Boosted Acca as it had a direct lay on the Betfair exchange so no complicated multiple bets to do. Made 50p!

SunshineDeLaSoul · 04/05/2017 22:28

If someone wants to bet with their own money that's up to them. It's a good way to not get gubbed I suppose.

And we shouldn't dictate what people talk about on a thread either, imo, but it's not being a dick for having an opinion.

This thread is very helpful.

TessTube · 04/05/2017 22:38

I find they pay out really quickly apart from the odd bingo and vegas slots type Ones which took ages!

TessTube · 04/05/2017 22:39

I'm trying to spread the sign ups out a lot more too now Mrs Wombat - gives me more chance to bet on the other Ines.

OverthinkingSpartacus · 05/05/2017 01:57

Ive withdrawn with 188, took about three days to hit my account but that may have been due to the bank Holiday.

I know they sometimes pick people to random to verify from posts on OM, they say that it's a certainty people will be asked to supply documents with most bookies at some point.

logged into coral and was given free £20 pound live casino bonus, it's weird having the dealer on video chatting to you. The dealer was telling me how cute my username was, said it was something dd used to call me when she was a baby and dealer is chatting away to me when one of the men started typing inappropriate stuff. He was booted straightaway and on,y she sees what's written, but for a few seconds she looked very uncomfortable. Don't think I like the "live" casino element and feel bad for adult cam women who must put up with loads of shit from that type of man.

louisejxxx · 05/05/2017 07:40

Managed to win £7 on Skybet earlier from a free deal or no deal scratchcard. Every little helps.

So far still only signed up to 4 bookies - did my first reload with sky last night which one, so I've put in for a small withdrawal this morning and left a fiver in my account ready for next time.

Still using up my William hill free bets too, but have hit a bit of a wall as have a lot tied up in the exchange at the minute.

louisejxxx · 05/05/2017 07:40

*which won

Choconuts · 05/05/2017 11:22

I think I just did something stupid I was doing my free bet with paddy power and accidentally laid it with my money so I cashed out that bet and then redid it with the free bet. I did it straight away in a panic and I'm now worried that will flag me as a normal bettor would probably just have used the free bet on something else whoops x

MaidOfStars · 05/05/2017 11:48

Yep, I would have just chalked it up as a mug bet. How much did you lose cashing out?

Choconuts · 05/05/2017 12:03

Only 80p but I'm kicking myself as I just panicked which was stupid!

Any ideas on how to make myself look muggy now? If I put a £10 bet on will I just look like I'm trying to hard?

MaidOfStars · 05/05/2017 12:06

Only 80p but I'm kicking myself as I just panicked which was stupid
And how much would you have lost if you'd just layed it as a regular bet?

HeyRoly · 05/05/2017 12:11

Had a panic this morning when I remembered it was the Spurs/West Ham match tonight. I bet on it earlier in the week and keep seeing the lay bet on Betfair.

Could I remember the back bet? Nope! Was worried I'd forgotten to place it. But I screenshot everything (thankfully) and saw it was a Mobilebet free bet. I'd already logged into Mobilebet earlier and hadn't seen it, because their website is so shitty you can't view open bets without switching from the mobile site to the desktop site Hmm

Ironic for a bookie who calls themselves Mobilebet.

Choconuts · 05/05/2017 12:15

I'm not sure Maid I didn't even check I just cashed out within a minute.

It's not the money lost that's bothering me I just don't want to get gubbed this early.

MaidOfStars · 05/05/2017 12:27

It's not the money lost that's bothering me I just don't want to get gubbed this early
I get that. I think I was driving at the idea that a few deep breaths and some rational thinking would have been better than panic Grin

Choconuts · 05/05/2017 12:31

Definitely Maid definitely SmileSmile.

I suppose I just need to chalk it up to experience and keep everything crossed it doesn't flag me!

neonrainbow · 05/05/2017 12:40

I think its possible to overthink the gubbing. They've got thousands of bets being made every day so if you have made a slight anomaly then I doubt it will be picked up on.

Whisky2014 · 05/05/2017 12:44

No problem I won't mention gambling. I just wanted to try and accumulator, hadn't read all the bump and the guy sent the tips straight to me. But..I did have to be alert abd make a change on it and it was very stressful whilst the games were on!
I'm definitely NOT doing that again and instead I am now working on the bet 365 £200 bonus. I have a lot of money to wager over the next few days. Should make £160 profit risk free :)
Re. Gambling..I do like a wee flutter every now and then. I won at grand national and on the fight last Friday but only stick to big events really and the acca as a one off. Not to be repeated :p

Choconuts · 05/05/2017 12:45

I hope so Neon - for some reason it makes me really anxious and paranoid. It's not like it's the end of the world anyway as there's plenty of other bookies Smile

Whisky2014 · 05/05/2017 12:48

From not sure if it's been said but if you are doing access you can lay at the start. Look on odds monkey for tutorial so you don't have to be around whilst the games are on :)

TessTube · 05/05/2017 12:58

I think it's fine to have a flutter im not anti gambling at all but I'm just trying to keep things very separate in terms of the matched betting things, I think for me it's the thought of me getting the value from the bets and not them!

I've put the very odd thing on in the past though and as very inexperienced but I can see how tempting it would be to start thinking oh just a quid more in the slots.

I think for me if anything it would be the casino or slots that would sucker me in to spending money!

TessTube · 05/05/2017 13:00

I was looking at the lay all ACCAs, nice to know there is a video I'll watch that later I think!

HollySykes · 05/05/2017 13:46

Loving this thread btw, nice to know I'm not alone. Every now and then I get a bit overwhelmed by what I don't know and the large amounts needed for multiple wagering so I've decided slow and steady is my approach. I've got the hang of the deposit x get x offers and will start on the risk free ones this weekend and keep an eye on my accounts by putting on the odd mug bet (laying of course). My plan is to learn a new thing each week and take my time before plunging into accas, casinos, in play etc.

Am about £150 up so far.

neonrainbow · 05/05/2017 13:46

I signed up to BetVictor but only get a £10 free sports bet and I get £10 for an accumulator and £10 for the casino and a £10 in play free bet. I'm going to have to learn about accumulators and casinos pretty quick!

OverthinkingSpartacus · 05/05/2017 14:31

Neon if your with OM have a read of the forums, some slots seem better than others for casino offers, users mention the good ones often.

neonrainbow · 05/05/2017 14:33

Thanks i keep forgetting about the forums.
