As the last thread is almost full, here is a nice fresh clean one.

In a nutshell, matched betting is a clever way of making ££££ from the bookies without ever having to gamble.

This is profit accumulator

This is odds monkey

Spookle
Betstars withdrawal rules are a bit convuluted but if you've deposited by visa just keep pressing continue and you withdraw the whole amount. If not, you need to set up a Skrill account which every matched bettor should have anyway.
If you're not sure how you're going to get your money out of a bookie, placing bets at long odds and hoping to transfer money back to the exchange can be risky. Even 10 to 1 shots come in roughly one in ten times and you could end up with a lot of money at the bookie.

HollySykes · 03/05/2017 22:49

What's the advantage f a skrill account?

AmateurSwami · 03/05/2017 22:51

Lost the thread for a while! Lost count of where I am now. At about £280, but have signed up to a years bank of bets so that was £140. Seems worth it so far

Redactio · 03/05/2017 22:52

Very quick deposit and withdrawal (hours not days), and handy for moving cash around bookies and the exchanges. Some bookies won't award free bets to punters depositing with skrill though , so read the T's & C's

louisejxxx · 04/05/2017 06:41

I've just put an acca on for tonight but I'm not going to lay it as I only bet a £1 on it anyway....the games are over the next few days and if all teams came through I'd win about £45, so just going to keep an eye and cash out if it starts going wrong.

SunshineDeLaSoul · 04/05/2017 07:27

Thanks Whisky.

neonrainbow · 04/05/2017 07:31

If you deposit with a visa card and withdraw with skrill won't that show you up as a matched better?

louisejxxx · 04/05/2017 07:32

Yes it is a possible flag neon but I think they'd be probably paying more attention to the amounts you're withdrawing, whether you've just won big and immediately withdrawn etc.

MaidOfStars · 04/05/2017 10:15

Whiskey Have I missed something? Why are you gambling, not matched betting?

Spookle · 04/05/2017 10:29

Thanks Redactio I will look into it.

On the bright side Bet Stars have emailed me with a £5 free bet after my 'loss' last night.0

MaidOfStars · 04/05/2017 10:36

Three bets last night - one win at exchange (small) and two wins at bookies (small + £110 buggerit). My Betfair account is looking poor Confused

MaidOfStars · 04/05/2017 10:37

So with £110 in a bookie, from £50 deposit then bet on an 'obvious' event, it wouldn't look too odd to withdraw back to £50, would it?

TessTube · 04/05/2017 11:18

I think not Maid, normal punters would also withdraw.

TessTube · 04/05/2017 11:21

Has anyone done ACCAs yet (and laid)

I'm going to be very firm about not gambling I don't have the skills for one thing. Absolutely useless at football.

I've got the 138 free bet and Stan James to use tonight.

Has anyone had an email through about a Bet Bright offer?

TessTube · 04/05/2017 11:23

It's bet up to £50 and double your winnings (the bonus is paid as a free bet)

Which looks great - I'll have to remind myself how to tackle them though as I don't think you lay the whole thing.

HollySykes · 04/05/2017 11:27

I made £65 yesterday even with my stupid mistake losing £5 but I'm feeling disillusioned today.

I'm on Oddsmonkey and I've gone through all but two of the deposit x get x offers - there are about 10 of them. The next type get more complicated which I'm sure I'll learn but all seem to need multiple wagering and I'm a bit freaked out by the numbers. Hundreds of pounds for £20 profit it feels risky. Whats everyone else doing?

MaidOfStars · 04/05/2017 11:31

I'll have to remind myself how to tackle them though as I don't think you lay the whole thing
For accas, you place your back bet over a number of events that happen sequentially, not together.

The matched betting acca calculators will tell you what to lay at each time point. So before the event, £X on Event 1. Then you key the result of Event 1 with the calculator, and it tells you how much to lay on Event 2. And so on. When it's all done, you should be around level or in profit (depending on your stake - real or free).

You need to be ready to lay between each event. I think it might therefore be easier to run accas over a number of days? Say, weekend footie - early Saturday match, late Saturday match, same on Sunday, Monday night. You might need to set an alarm to remind you to lay!

MaidOfStars · 04/05/2017 11:34

I'm going to be very firm about not gambling
Me too. I'm not sure gambling activity should be on this thread (sorry Whiskey). I feel we all need to keep our wits and not risk cash. If you want to do gamble, go ahead, but outlining strategies/sites in this thread isn't, I think, appropriate. I feel it runs the risk of promoting gambling.

Am I being a dick? Grin

GardeningWithDynamite · 04/05/2017 13:10

There's lots of comments about the betbright offer not being honoured - be careful with this one. Sometimes they don't let you do the whole stake (or at least that's what I saw on the oddsmonkey discussion).

I haven't done accas yet - too paranoid about not being around at the right time.

sherrifffatman · 04/05/2017 13:31

I'm having trouble withdrawing £36 from Comeon!
They've verified my phone no, email, I've sent driving licence pic and proof of address and it was refused!! No reason why though.
What do they want? My DNA?
I've just put a £20 bet on and hoping it wins in the exchange.
The info was accepted by others, not sure why they're so fussy.

TessTube · 04/05/2017 14:49

I've sorted my Betbright offer, I needed to overlay as it's a bonus if you win and it all makes sense.

Maid - I've been looking at the "lay all"
ACCAs, I have three times tiny children and the chances of me missing a lay are therefore substantial!

Muuuum I've hurt myself NOT NOW I AM LAYING A LEG.

SierraJensen · 04/05/2017 14:49

No Maid, not being a dick at all - I think it would be easy (for me, anyway!) to get sucked in if I started. It's something I'm being really firm about as well.

I just logged into coral as was thinking about placing a mug bet and found I had won a £5 bet in a draw (which I don't remember entering) so might be a good idea for folk to check their coral accounts, just in case.

Had a good morning on Betfair as used my free £10 to play the slots and ended up with the max possible profit of £30. The game I played was called Lucky Panda if anyone is interested. It was mainly autospinning while I got ready for work!

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/05/2017 15:01

I joined bet Fred through pa and put £10 in but no £30 free bet offer showed up.

Have I gone wrong? again 😔

SierraJensen · 04/05/2017 15:13

Fluffy think the betfred offer takes up to 48hours to arrive - has it been that long?

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/05/2017 15:15

No I've just registered. Is it safe to do my qualifying £10 bet?.
