As the last thread is almost full, here is a nice fresh clean one.

In a nutshell, matched betting is a clever way of making ££££ from the bookies without ever having to gamble.

This is profit accumulator

This is odds monkey

Have read. TAKE YOUR TIME!

And enjoy the money Grin

If you check Oddsmatcher, is there a bookie still specified on the filter?

sherrifffatman · 02/05/2017 10:54

Found it! It was BoyleSports but not showing in the history for some reason.
I trawled back through my phone records, phew! Lesson learned

bonfireheart · 02/05/2017 10:55

This is what I placed my bets on.

Coral
Arsenal v Man Untd - back bet, Arsenal to win
Odds 1.91
Stake £5

Betfair - lay bet
Odds 2.04
Stake £4.80
Liability £4.99

This got me my £20 free coral bets, which I used:

Coral
Real Madrid v Athletico Madrid, back bet, draw
Odds 3.50
Stake Free £20

Betfair - lay bet
Odds 3.75
Stake £13.51
Liability £37.15

Does this look right to you all or have I messed up somewhere? Your feedback will be really appreciated. If I can get the first few right then I'll be more confident. Thank you x

OverthinkingSpartacus · 02/05/2017 11:53

It looks right to me bonfire.

Sherif, if you are using OM and mark tutorials as complete, you could go through your completed tutorials to see which bookies you've forgotten to check, glad you found it in the end.

Neon, I'm proud of myself too, maths has always made me nervous, had two awful humiliating experiences at primary school thanks to two shitty teachers, so other than money and change I need from a tenner I'm shit. I'm still shit and probably couldn't do it without the calculater but dh said he's really pleased to see mee animated around number rather than looking terrified. Dd always teases me about my math skills, and even she said she's proud.

Dh knew I was reading about matched betting but I never told him started until I'd made about £60, he knew I was going to give it a go he didn't quite get it but knew I knew what I was talking about :)

HeyRoly · 02/05/2017 12:12

Isn't it ironic that a bookmaker called Mobilebet has a completely useless mobile site? Grin You can't view your open or settled bets, you have to switch to the desktop site. I've been wondering why I haven't been credited with my free bet, but I've finally found the right section to look in, only to find that it was credited on the 28th!

longtermsinglemummy · 02/05/2017 13:20

OverthinkingSpartacus I can't get my head around casinos and how they make money. Surely you need to outlay a considerable sum?

Whisky2014 · 02/05/2017 13:53

I'm wanting to make serious money. I see on the match betting team profile Facebook group there'd guys making thousands on it. But I don't know how!

DeleteOrDecay · 02/05/2017 13:55

Really annoying but we have been caught a bit short this month so looks like I won't be doing any more matched betting for a few weeks unless I use savings as a float but I'm feeling a bit reluctant about doing that. Oh well it means I can do a bit more reading around the subject as in still a bit confused by it all.

SierraJensen · 02/05/2017 14:44

Whisky I imagine you need to build up your balance at the exchange to make a lot more money, so you can do many of the reload offers and accas each week. To get the big bucks you probably need a lot more time than most of us have as well.

For offers like William Hill's bet £10 get £30, are people using the 3 x £10 bets at once, or splitting them up? I have split mine up to try to look more 'muggy' but I'm not sure if that's the best thing or not?

HeyRoly · 02/05/2017 14:46

I think splitting them up looks more genuine, myself. That's what I've been doing.

bonfireheart · 02/05/2017 14:58

I read online that stuck to your usual sum. So if you usually only ever bet around £10 each time then yeah split them up.

SierraJensen · 02/05/2017 15:01

Cool, thanks guys - will stick to what I'm doing. William Hill in particular is supposed to be a good one to keep in with!

Whisky2014 · 02/05/2017 15:16

I have signed up to "what acca?" Website and the guy sends an email with the accumulators he puts on each week. Will prob do that. From the sounds of the group on Facebook people were only putting a few on each week and making loads.

I just did some gambling by mistake..lucky came out in my favour so I'm £25 quid up. BEWARE of totesport website. When you try your use your free bet it may not show on the betslip as available. I stupidly laid the bet about 5 mins before the race started and when I went to confirm on totesport it wouldn't let me do it. Someone on live chat said to go to totesport.mobi and that worked but I didn't manage to get it on in time hence my gambling! I do have the free bet to use now and should make £20 quid profit I've made £80 in last two days and prob £250 in last 2 weeks (not been doing it much).

Whisky2014 · 02/05/2017 15:18

Sierra...I just used them all at once. I think that's normal for free bets then when the deals run out that's what the bookies look at as "your style".

MrsWombat · 02/05/2017 16:27

Whisky Are you going to be using What Acca to make realist mug bets (i.e. the bookies know lots of people follow this guy so will think your bets are legit) and laying the bets off or will you actually be gambling for fun? I don't think I could do the sequential accas unless the kids were out of the house completely!

TheSleeperandTheSpindle · 02/05/2017 16:43

The horses caught me out again. Was making my qualifying bet and needed odds of 2.0 or more. Found a horse which would mean I only lost 54p but by the time I'd made the bet it turns out my loss was £1.04 Hmm I know it's not much for £20 worth of free bets but annoying none the less.

I had two days off over the BH weekend waiting for money to clear from bookies and family stuff getting in the way but in 10 days I've made around £80 profit with £20 free bet to come. I've listened to advice on here about going slowly so I've only done 4 sign up deals so far.

Very interested in all the advanced stuff some of you are talking about but it scares me, going to stick with what I vaguely understand for now Grin

zebrano · 02/05/2017 16:51

I've been working my way through the oddsmonkey new customer offers but I've only got a few left to do. Do you all just move onto the risk free ones after that? Or is there another place to find straightforward free bent offers? I looked at betvictor (not listed on OM) but as a pp mentioned it has 400 wagering restrictions which I don't really want to do at the mo!

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/05/2017 17:00

Have any of the bookies required driving licence photos? I can't find my licence anywhere! 😡

bonfireheart · 02/05/2017 17:19

I think once you've done the newbie offers, the bookies send you "reload" offers.

TheSleeperandTheSpindle · 02/05/2017 17:38

If anyone has been offered the reload from William Hill, bet £10 and get 3 x £5 free bets they deposit your account straight away. Just placed my qualifying bet on the Madrid derby tonight and my free bets are already there Smile

MaidOfStars · 02/05/2017 17:50

f anyone has been offered the reload from William Hill, bet £10 and get 3 x £5 free bets they deposit your account straight away
I did my qualifier on Sunday then 3 x £5 free/2 x £5 own money today. But yes, free bets were credited immediately.

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/05/2017 18:00

I've made a mistake, I went through tcb for coral so no free bets. I've emailed asking to close the account.

Hopefully start tomorrow. 😨

MrsWombat · 02/05/2017 18:24

zebrano I don't know how it works on Oddsmonkey, but on Profit Accumulator they have a reload section to do once you have done all the intro offers, and the casino offers. It includes easy ones (for people like me to get their head around) like the coral bet £25 get £10 club or the skybet bet club £25 get £5 offer and a dozen other "risk free" ones too which are slightly more complicated. Mostly involving accas or in play betting. There is a thread that lists all the daily risk free offers. Which is normally between £30-£150 a day depending what's on. I'm assuming OM has something similar?

MaidOfStars · 02/05/2017 18:32

Oh, I'd have left it. You'll get reload offers if you chuck them a tenner. Not sure closing an account because you missed a free bet is an obvious thing to do.

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/05/2017 18:34

I know. If they ask I'll say I've changed my mind Sad
