ExpatMrs · 08/04/2017 15:59

Just came across a good few MNers talking about it on another thread. I don't even know what it is but from the jist of the convo, there's good money to be made from having a couple of hours a day to do it... I have those hours!!
Can anyone enlighten me please?

Oh forgot about my bingo thing..so I'm £75.75 up. Drinks on me :D

Lauren1983 · 15/04/2017 19:19

Hi. Can anyone confirm if you sign up to Coral through TopCashBack that you still get the bet £5 get £20 free offer? It says you need to bet at least £10 on Coral but apart from that I can't see anymore details.

Whisky2014 · 15/04/2017 19:25

If it says at least £10 I imagine that's a different deal

Spookle · 15/04/2017 19:35

I've received a text from Coral saying deposit £10 and get a free £50 welcome bonus on the casino. Can I use this at all?

Frouby · 15/04/2017 19:36

Right. I think I get it. But am I right in saying that you need to find odds that match as much as possible to avoid being gubbed? But in this case whiskey got lucky and ended up better off?

Whisky2014 · 15/04/2017 19:40

No it was a result in red at the top of the odds matcher. See Maids post on Red go go go. And I didn't realise I only lost liability so made much more sense now

MaidOfStars · 15/04/2017 19:43

But am I right in saying that you need to find odds that match as much as possible to avoid being gubbed?
Gaps in odds can leak profit. The closer the odds, the better the bet is rated.

Have a look at my post above explaining with very simple numbers.

edengarden123 · 15/04/2017 19:46

Quick question do ye guys withdraw from the bookies straight away, if ye have won? I've almost 10 won qualifying bet should I take it out?

Whisky2014 · 15/04/2017 19:49

I only remove it once the free bet has been added to my account or wait until both have finished then remove. Some bookies only let you withdraw a minimum of £10 btw

MaidOfStars · 15/04/2017 19:50

I left cash in a bookie account. I don't need it and figure I will use for mug bets to trigger reloads.

MaidOfStars · 15/04/2017 19:54

I also feel that withdrawal straight after a free bet has settled will look a bit suspicious.

ItsAllGoingToBeFine · 15/04/2017 19:59

Yy. I'm leaving it in too. It's not very much so I'll use it for a mug bet on my "favourite" team next w/e and hopefully lose and transfer some of it back to the exchange.

Whisky2014 · 15/04/2017 20:43

When I've used free bets in the past (to gamble with say for grand national) I would do my bets get the free one then run. Don't know what is suspicious about that the.

Place marking so I know where I'm up to

BlessThisMess · 15/04/2017 21:36

Am also place-marking. I've read through this entire thread twice and started having a go a couple of days ago. I have done the two initial offers on the free PA account - just today my £30 free from BetFred came through and I have put it on a football match happening on Monday.

The only bit I haven't figured out yet is a spreadsheet to keep track of where I'm at. I know I'm in profit but not sure how much yet. I've tried downloading one on my iPad and one on my Mac computer which I'm not that familiar with, and can't get either of them to work, so now I have to wait till I can get DD2 off my laptop and try sorting out a spreadsheet on there.

MissFitton · 15/04/2017 21:38

Evening Matched Betters!

Still waiting for a couple of bets to settle but should be £80 up from the last few days. Happy with that for a start.

Can I ask if anyone has a link to the ultimatcher spreadsheet? I've not been able to find it. Thanks!

louisejxxx · 15/04/2017 21:43

Place marking as I've rtft and am seriously tempted to give this a go but am going away in a couple of days so I'm going to wait until I'm back and in the mean time read up on oddsmonkey. So far I've created a new email and signed up to oddsmonkey and that's it. Next step I think is to find a spreadsheet to use ready for when I do start.

Quickie - should I be setting up all these different accounts on the different websites with a different username each time? Or is it ok to use same one for all betting sites as long as it's different from my mumsnet account and my oddsmonkey username?

louisejxxx · 15/04/2017 21:45

Also - I think realistically I can only afford a £50 float at the minute. Is the only set back to this that I won't really be able to have more than one bet going on at a time?

MissFitton · 15/04/2017 21:53

louise - yep, different usernames is your best I think. Also, your float will grow but you'll be restricted to how much your liability can be.

I've found the Ultimatcher spreasheet now. Just need to work out how to use it!

imnottoofussed · 15/04/2017 21:59

I had problems with ultimatcher something about macros and then it kept trying to debug . I've started using another spreadsheet from some student place but still not 100% happy with it.

AHobbyaweek · 15/04/2017 22:16

I had a problem with the macros on ultimater too but opened on excel on a mac, wondered if that messed it up.

AHobbyaweek · 15/04/2017 22:16

Also £194 up over the last three days. Smile

dudewheresmycar · 15/04/2017 22:18

Place marking Smile

MaidOfStars · 15/04/2017 22:40

Ultimatcher on PC - you need to enable macros, then shut down all the windows that appear in Visual Basic. Then when you get to pesky debugger thing that won't go away, you go straight to shutting down Visual Basic itself.

imnottoofussed · 15/04/2017 22:51

Thanks maid will give it another go
